Star Trek Discovery's last season should have the hinted romance with Owo and Detmer happen. Scrap whatever else they had planned for the show, let's do ten episodes on just this.

That Night In The Cave: Chapter 17

Chapter Summary: Saru and Tilly struggle with guilt. Pike's condition worsens.
Excerpt: Discovery
It was midnight by ship’s time.
Work continued around the clock. Shields were again at full strength. Both internal and external comms remained inoperable forcing the crew to rely on runners and communicators. Tomorrow they would test the repaired spore drive. The warp and impulse engines had suffered the heaviest damage. Their restoration remained a couple of days away.
Michael had the bridge and would deal with anything urgent.
Sleep, which Saru once could summon at will, remained elusive. Another side effect of his Vahar'ai. In its stead the sequence of events played over and over in his mind, like an unwelcome song you cannot get out of your head. Owo reporting the passing meteor. Detmer adjusting course. The space rock bouncing off the shuttle’s shields and exploding, vaporizing everything in a wide radius including Keyla, Bonnie, and Jett.

Story Summary:
Discovery’s crew is curious about Christopher Pike's background, especially his early missions shrouded in secrecy and his atypical medical skills. After all why would a starship captain be honored with the prestigious Carrington Award bestowed by the Federation Council for a lifetime’s excellence in medicine?
Tilly has a serious and secret (so she believes) crush on Discovery’s temporary commander, Christopher Pike. Saru’s Vahar'ai has triggered his species version of puberty with Pike serving as a stand-in father figure. Pike has a second and secret mission on Discovery in addition to sorting out the mystery of the seven signals. Restless while Enterprise is docked for repairs, Una takes a vacation.
This is hurt/comfort story of dangers, heroics, rescues, awkward situations, getting to know your crewmates, friendship, dating, romance, and the trajectory of first love for a young girl as she finds her place in her chosen profession. As well as the stranded in a cave during a storm trope. Pike whump. And a shirtless Pike stripped to his underwear.
Characters: Pike, Tilly, Saru, Michael, Reno, Detmer, Pollard, Stamets, Na’an, and the rest of the Discovery crew, Una Chin-Riley, and original supporting characters.

I had a dream where Owo x Detmer became canon, a Star Trek Discovery movie was announced where there was this prophecy that this lady and her wife would save the world and then the crew were trying to find out who it was and Saru vaguely recognized some facts about Owo and people were like Owo is a lesbian? And they were like uh well who’s going to be her wife we don’t know anyone who could possibly be in a relationship with her. And Rhys is basically like wtf y’all are stupid it’s literally Detmer and they find this little O + D carving on the cafeteria door. Anyway it was really cute I don’t remember much else but I was really disappointed when I woke up and it wasn’t canon

Sleeping safe and sound
Hey girls, gays and theys*, I wrote a fic about JoAnn and Keyla confessing their love to each other.
Summary:
If your macho pilot friend asks you to stay, you do so, especially if you want her to be more than a friend.
But how do you comfort her without crossing a line? But what if any of you crosses that line? How do you continue, if you continue the friendship?
This is an exploration of what possibly happened behind and between the scenes of episode 4 and episode 13 of season 3.
Peview:
Joann Owosekun had never seen her friend this broken. She was worried but didn´t know what to do. So when the question of an overnight stay came, as to say, Detmers hand lightly patted on her bed and the soundless ´stay´, she was relieved and snuggled next to her. Even though her room was just opposite of Keyla's and she could go any time she wanted, she stayed. They had shared a room in the academy before with the whole platoon, but as they were hired on different ships, they shared their rooms with Tilly and Airiam until they reached the positions as operations officer and first helm officer (aka first navigator and pilot) accompanied with a separate room.
So now, being in one bed together, it was cramped on the single bed. But it was also warm and ...
