John Constantine was in prison.
No, not a normal, mortal prison. Those wouldn't be able to hold him like this one does.
No, he's imprisoned in the Infinity Realm.
The warden of the establishment is Walker, someone whose blood sings Witch Hunter.
If that wasn't bad enough, with every second, it gets worse. Angels decided to interfere in a realm not in possession of their God.
Who's idea was it to go against the Infintiy Realm? Are they nuts?
"John Constantine," One of the messangers steps forward. There is no weapon in sight, yet.
"Under the scrutiny of Heaven, we were sent to retrieve you for a trial." Their voice clipped, blond hair shimmering a soft green and John is sweating buckets.
"Your deals with various demon folk and such shall be judged unter gods court and—"
A loud bang echoes through the hall, Walker's men are surrounding the beings of heaven and particular brave soul steps forward.
The lad is young, can't be older than Bat's Robin. He walks with an air of authority, white hair floating against gravity's rules and towering before the flock of messangers.
"How dare—"
The boy, the godling– growls.
He blocks their view of Constantine, staring them down.
Some of the angels fall back, wings arched and ready for a fight, weapons still not in sight however.
"I am Phantom, King of God's of the Infinity Realm." The child with a title too much for such small shoulders bear, introduces himself.
It sends the flock into mild panic. Constantine is just a bit satisfied at the change.
"Returns to your god and tell him this, every Constantine bearing the title Laughing Magician is under my protection."
For such a small stature, his voice is booming, the command thinly veiled as a threat and icicles forming around him.
"Tell him that if he ever dares to breach my territory once more, I will not hesitate to call war upon heaven."
The main angel of the flock, the one that had read out Constantines sentence, hesitated only for a moment before urging the others to leave.
Posture stiff and movements jerky.
They didn't expect to be told off like this, John muses.
He only slightly dreads when phantoms attention drifts to him finally, a light knock on the metal bars and the whole wall was gone.
"Follow me, John Constantine."
And John does.
He'll sweet talk himself out of this on the way to his doom. Like always.

("Unpopular belief, but I actually quite like you." Danny had stated once in the garden, sitting on a table and drinking tea. John hadn't touched his cup nor desert at all, cannot trust those of the infinite after all.)
(A rip into the green before them had created a portal, a gateway.
"Leave, Laughing Magician. Hold onto that necklace, it will ward off anyone with the intent to harm and deals as a warning to those working for the immortal."
And as John steps forward, his eyes meet toxic green.
"We will see one another again, sooner or later. Farewell, Jester."
The portal spat him out in his apartment in New York, if it wasn't for the protection charm, Constantine would have believed it to be a mere dream. A warning.)

Got bored so I figured I’d write a bit of an overview of that one dream I had that was basically like cult of the lamb, but like, it was mainly @unfunnyaceartist and @rabid-mercenary16 as huge cult leaders/goddesses, meanwhile I/Kay was the conduit (meaning carrier in this case— holding someone else’s power) of a weakened god, which… was not normal.
Ps u think their ‘followings’ kinda represented actual following in tumblr since they were both large and I was small

It was odd, I was human, yet not… became something else almost suddenly. I was a conduit, Inanis’ conduit. Something to show their power, but I was human… there were many others. Others I’d heard of. My only instructions from them was to gather a following on their name.. that I’d gain power, and it’s my only chance of survival. So… I attempted. I didn’t really mind the whole thing.. surprisingly, I gained followers, minions who had become part of my cult, though it was small, yet one day, when recruiting… I saw someone fairly different.
She was a jester, she seemed taller, and parts of her clothing that seemed to drape too far from her body, looked as if they were dissipating at the edges like smoke. She saw me and seemed confused.. I could tell she was a god, by her power she have off, by the voice in my head, and by how she presented herself.. hey oddly.. she didn’t seem to mind me. She looked at me as of if I was a fascinating specimen.. maybe it was just obvious, due to how I was. She seemed amused with me, and actually.. invited me to visit, she said that she ‘always likes to check on the little guys’… I guess that’s what I am, in all honesty, I didn’t expect to even get to ten followers in my cult, yet I had by that time reached at least forty, if I remember correctly, and not too soon later, I met Ace.
They seemed like the mix of some kind of Angel and some kind of demon, that was just the energy they gave off though.. parts of their face shielded by tiny feathery wings, now they clearly could be seen as a god.. I wasn’t afraid, yet again, but I was more puzzled.. why had these beings found me amusing? In fact Ace even… followed me. They said they liked my ideals, and that perhaps our cults could coexist.. it’s odd, everyone portrays it like you can only have one belief, but through this, I found out that it’s not all bloody war.. in fact the gods can have respect for one another.. they can even have respect for me. A human. Just a vessel for a higher power.
Ace and rabid seemed close, from what I’d heard Ace say. None the less, I was a part of Ace and Rabid’s following.. I didn’t know that was a thing before, but it seems like it is. I felt a bit embarrassed though, when Ace first visited my little village.. it was small and had many less than her large following, yet.. she seemed to enjoy it. I seemed to have gained the goddesses’ trust.. and than even more surprisingly, Rabid. I felt like a child compared to the two, maybe because they were both taller, due to being eternal beings, and the fact that I was so small, yet they found me interesting. I even got comfortable enough to flirt playfully with them, even if I didn’t notice I was doing it.
I feel like they just found me intriguing since I was a human with these abilities.. but now it dawns on me that they might just.. enjoy my presence.. I enjoy theirs as well.. their lucky to have one another

I have a page for my worldbuilding projects that’s a huge WIP, but in the mean time, here’s a list of the ones I can remember off the top of my head! I’ve done my best to split these by genre, although some obviously fit in multiple categories. You can also browse through my "original stuff" tag for things that haven't made it as far as a concrete project, if you can tolerate the mess.

Tooth and Nail; a superhero/kaiju mashup about bioengineered superheroes fighting monsters, and the protagonist’s attempts to protect his new apprentice from the horrors of their work

Blood and Truth
This is the first illustration directly depicting a scene from my upcoming fan fiction. The character on it is the Court Jester of Alagadda, who woke up after a terrible nightmare where he was torn apart by an angry mob during a riot.
Even when he wakes up, he cannot understand that he is still alive and that his own death was nothing more than a performance that his silly stormy self played out under closed eyelids. And in the pre-morning delirium his bloody dream and the familiar reality are mixed together…
What's funny is that both the scene and my story itself were originally inspired, among other things, by my own experience of sleep paralysis and a surreal nightmare with reality changing, which preceded it. Well, I think the creatures of Alagadda really have something in common with sleep paralysis demons…

So um this is sort of random. But. Last night I had a crazy dream with ToH characters, and there was a part of the dream that focused on discovering the collectors true origins through Pokémon battles (please don’t ask why) but eventually I got to the end of the path, and very dramatically, this old man announced… “the collector… was created by… THE JESTER!!!” and I thought “the who” and out of the sky THIS JEVIL-LOOKING WANNABE appeared and emitted the most goofy aah laugh I’ve ever heard, said “YES YOU LITTLE LEMON DROPS, I HAVE THE POWER TO SPLIT UNIVERSES UN TWO AND I BESTOWED UPON ALL WITH THAT LITTLE GREMLIN!!”, did a funny dance, twirled around, and finished by saying “Imagine having daddy issues lmao” before disappearing back into the clouds
WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT HELLO anyways I woke up still utterly confused, and eventually I made this sketch which I digitalized just now. The result is honestly pretty accurate to my dream, especially those stupid looking tassel fabric things. I didn’t bother to color him in, but if I did, they would resemble jevil’s color scheme, but with more bright pinks/purples. Maybe if people somehow enjoy him I’ll make a real color version
Anyways I am convinced he was my sleep paralysis demon that got insanely bored and decided to shit on my dreams and my hyperfixations. Thanks I guess

This isn't for you. Part 3. F.S.
Farleigh gets the upper hand, and then almost immediately loses it.
Warnings: Oliver Quick is a menace and doesn't understand consent. I don't write reader insert. This fic contains an OFC with a personality and dreams and thoughts.
Farleigh held his anger in his stomach. He always had. It would curdle and churn in his gut, threatening to force its way out, and he would swallow it down every time. When he was a teen, he became convinced that he had an ulcer. He’d lie on the floor hugging himself around the middle every time he came home from another event where he was treated like a civilian by the ruling class that he was meant to be a part of.
He knew those people inside and out. He watched them. He felt their twisting, turning disingenuous politeness wind around the room like a boa constrictor. He was them.
Only Maggie could see it. Felix and Venetia were whimsically lost in their own youth, but Maggie was self-aware and she was also aware of him. It was always a relief when she would walk through the door and rearrange the seating cards while no one was looking. She’d seat them together and keep one soft, grazing hand on his knee, grounding him. Who would tell her no?
At dinner with the Henry’s, Farleigh would have given anything to see her to his left once again. He found himself only half-listening to the conversation as he imagined her slipping her shoes off under the table and making small talk with the Henry to her left. But she wasn’t there, and the anger of Felix’s betrayal was sitting like a weight in the pit of his stomach.
During karaoke, Oliver decided to pick at his fresh wound, and it only built the anger more. They flirted and whispered, Farleigh softened by so much liquor coursing through his bloodstream. Oliver brought up Venetia, money, shame. All in minimally veiled seduction.
“If you ever want me to talk to them,” The little rat murmured in his sing-song baby voice, his lifeless shark eyes forming perfect circles. “I know what you’re going through.”
It was sickening, the way he turned the puppy-dog eyes on and pouted his lips. Oliver obviously believed that Farleigh was interested in him. He was unconventionally attractive. A composite sketch of striking features. Farleigh felt nothing but annoyance though.
Still, he swallowed it down, choosing instead to be stalwart and flirtatious over showing his cards.
“It’s time to change things up a bit.” Farleigh tucked the song book under his arm and skimmed through the catalogue, finding exactly the right tune to humiliate the boy. “Oliver, you’re up!”
Taking his place toward the back of the room, he danced and sang along, thoroughly enjoying watching Oliver sink into embarrassment right there in front of everyone. It didn’t seem to truly hit anyone until he sang the lines “I love you. You pay my rent.”
It was beautiful. It was horrifying. It was a perfect little moment of comeuppance.
“This is your song too Farleigh.” Oliver held the microphone out, his face beet red and sweat beading around his hairline and upper lip.
“Only if you insist!” Farleigh shimmied through the lounging guests, snatching the microphone. He was born to perform, and he did. Court jester. Minstrel to his own family. It didn’t embarrass him. He knew exactly where his place was. He was determined to remind Oliver of his.
That night, he’d meant to call Maggie but he was far too drunk and it was far too late. He wasn’t in bed until quarter to three. He felt better. The anger was there. It was often there. But it was dissipating. Taking up residence elsewhere in his body at least.
Just as he drifted off, feeling a glee at the small revenge of the night, something heavy knocked him awake. He opened his eyes to something far worse than a sleep paralysis demon. It was Oliver.
“What the fuck are you doing?” Farleigh moved to lift his arms but Oliver had them pinned to his sides with his knees.
“What do you think I’m doing?” Oliver was cast completely in shadow, only the blue moonlight from the window reaching his face.
“I think you’re in the wrong fucking room.” To this point, Farleigh had felt a lot of things about Oliver, but fear certainly wasn’t one of them. Now, he was genuinely afraid. This was unhinged behavior. This was completely insane.
“Am I?” Oliver spoke in a husky voice. It was soft and sinister. “Are you going to behave from now on, Farleigh?”
He almost laughed. Really? A power play? He was downright transparent. “No.”
Behind his back, Oliver’s hand crept into the sheet that was barely separating their bodies. Strong fingers wrapped themselves around soft flesh growing harder.
“Are you going to behave?”
Farleigh gulped down the urge to buck the smaller man off of him. He could shove him off. He could stop him. He wasn’t sure why he didn’t. “No?”
The hand squeezed harder, moving now. This was sick. It was hot, but it was sick.
“Don’t make me ask again.” Oliver knew what he was doing. He could feel it. They both could feel it.
Farleigh nodded his head quickly, minimally. Upset about giving in.
Oliver was close enough that Farleigh could smell his sickly sweet breath. It smelled of fruity cocktails and pineapple slices. “Say it.”
“I-I’m going to behave.” Farleigh let go completely, his stomach in knots. The anger was back, but so was desire. Disgusting, irritating desire. The thing that always got him into trouble.
Still close, Oliver spit into his hand, and Farleigh gave himself over wholly.
In the morning, Farleigh woke up to a deep, revolting shame. He felt sticky and queasy. He’d let Oliver win. He’d been bested. But more than that, he hadn’t wanted it to happen. He wondered if that was how Venetia had felt. Used.
He tried to wash it all away in the shower, but there was that anger again. Just where he’d left it too.
He was getting dressed when Duncan burst into his room, startling him.
“What the fuck?” He jumped back. Not even a knock? What was going on in Saltburn lately?
“Gather your things.” Duncan lifted his suitcase from the corner, plopping it onto his bed. “You’re to be out immediately.”
It was the coldness in his voice that scared Farleigh the most. He’d never been spoken to like that. He tried to question him but Duncan was gone before he could even form thoughts.
Farleigh made a b-line to James’ office, knocking once before letting himself into the open door.
“James, what’s going on?” He was only met with more icy stares.
Elspeth was sitting in the corner chair, looking pensive, an expression that didn’t suit her. James was at his desk, both hands laid flat on his thighs.
“Really, Farleigh? After everything we’ve done for you?” James took off his glasses, expression pained. “Attempting to steal from us?”
“What? How?” Farleigh moved to sit down but Duncan came in and ushered him toward the door. “No! Wait-how? I haven’t gone anywhere? How could I have stolen anything? Why would I do that?”
In the hall, only Elspeth followed.
“There has to be a mistake. I haven’t-“ He was cut off by Duncan’s hand on his shoulder pushing him toward the door.
“Darling, you mustn’t make such a fuss. Please behave yourself.” Elspeth looked angry. It was another new expression he hadn’t seen.
Before he could even process another thought, he was out the servant’s door and sitting in a car. The trunk slammed hard as his things were loaded in.
“Where to, then?” The driver asked, not even turning around to see him blubbering and snotty in the back seat.
Finally, he managed to choke out, “Daylesford House. Gloucestershire.”

introducing to you: J!
Personality: J acts sweet and otherwise mischievous most of the time, and will typically go out of her way to make sure those few she likes stay friends with her. J is stupid smart and witty, and loves to show off and get praise from others.
though, surprisingly, a majority of how she acts outwardly is just to hide her true colors and her grand plans she has for kirby and planet popstar
behind closed doors this adorable little puff is unabashedly rude, self-centered, impatient, and has a mighty inflated ego to boot.
Backstory/Lore: After being freed from her crystal prison (similar to Galactas') and loosing her memories and magic, Meta Knight, an old friend of hers from the GSA days takes her in and unsuccessfully attempts to help her regain her memories and magic in hopes of reviving one of his old friends again.
quickly getting bored of her domestic life in the castle, Js personality does a full 180 and she starts acting out. maybe for attention, maybe out of pure boredom, but either way, she gets worse and worse; especially after hearing about past attempts to take over popstar and meeting Marx. fueled by a misdirected instinct to lead (thank the Ancients for that LMAO), J begins to scheme great plans for Kirby.
Some time later, aided by a unwitting Kirby, the mischievous jester Marx, and a dubious and doubtful mage Magolor, J gets to work.
after gathering as many of the most powerful artifacts as she could get her nubs on [to note: the Master crown, Star rod, Nebulas Amulet, and Mirror Galaxia are some], learning from Magolors', Susies', Sectonias' and many others' failed attempts to take over the cozy planet, Js plan comes to completion, is put into action and...
she succeeds.
J successfully defeats the pink demon kirby, and leaves them cowering as a cocky show of her newfound raw power. After Kirbys defeat, J doesnt hesitate to get to work reforming the planet as she sees fit.
Her victory is short lived though, as Kirby quickly regroups with the dream team, now with a couple extra members, who are rightfully pissed at her for duping them.
Overwhelmed and panicking, mid-battle J rips off Nebulas Amulet (the necklace you see in the above photo), causing herself to be overwhelmed by the mass amount of raw magical energy flowing from the very artifacts she was using moments ago.
Nebulas Amulet was a magic inhibitor she wore to prevent herself from going mad or getting possessed by the many items that adorned her form, and without it, she could not control her thoughts, mind nor her physical form.
morphed physically and mentally, now fighting for control against a master crown, Nova, and Mirror Galaxia for full control of this powerful vessel, and driven to near insanity, J cries out and tries one last time to drag her broken body to victory.
(her morphed form is still not decided upon, but heres one of my ideas)
of course, J is defeated and shunned from the castle. Meta knight feels betrayed, Kirby has a newfound fear for their life, and many others she used for her rise to power turn their backs to her.
though, J happens to find Comfort and true friendship in Magolor and Marx, seeing as they had suffered similar fates and had even played a willing part in her rise to power.

I was… a human. Granted the role of a god. I was my Sona, obviously. Inanis and Kay were one, but I was still new to this.. I barely gained a following, but I was only a few days in, so.. I’d say it’s decent.
The jester’s domain was.. interesting. She looked more smoke-like, wearing elegant clothes that seemed to be just enough that you’d think she couldn’t fight in them, though you’d be wrong. The ‘uniforms’ or other clothes would be grayscale, or have a gay/black/white indent of Rabid’s symbol on them. I don’t remember it too much, but I remember she was kind, when I stumbled into her cult’s domain. High heels that made a gentle click each time she stepped, the bells on her hat and other attire softly rang as she walked, her domain seemed to be very large, almost the size of a kingdom itself, I couldn’t help but admire that she kept it all in check..
Ace’s was just as magnificent. Though the place would be hard to get to, I only got access by being let in by ace, these were dark demons that seemed to wander aimlessly, yet not to far away, from the base of Ace’s land. It was up a mountain, it seemed as if that entire form of land had hits and homes of their own, the demons would attack anyone that had not been blessed or specifically allowed in by ace. She had Flowey attire, multiple sets of feathered wings, her tail had a sort of halo around one of the thin parts, the top of her tail seemed longer, and there was a double halo around her horn, one being larger at the base and the other being smaller near the top of it. There were two small ‘wings’ that seemed to cover most of Ace’s face though.
That’s just a bit from what I remeber, not too much detail, but a bit. I’ll explain its tomorrow when I’m not tired.
