Could y'all send me some short anime suggestions? Stuff that’s 12 to 24 episodes with just one season because I keep starting ones with 24 episodes just to find out after that there's like 5 seasons🙄

i've never posted on here about the fact that i only realized like a year into playing pokémas that augustine's japanese VA is the same VA who 1) voices my fave yakuza character and most importantly 2) voices fucking agatsuma soubi from yaoi catboys franchise LOVELESS

What was the inspiration for each character?

Ramón: I think i just wanted a suave sexy man to have a gentler fatherly side who can be a little silly overall. That subversion of expectation is something I would find endearing and fun to write around. And I think single dads cloud use some love. So maybe dream daddy?

Kalei: I wanted a helpful, sweet, guidance counsler type of character to contrast Ramon. I also incoperated my own struggles with overworking myself.

Noel: i think Mikaela from Owari no seraph (i never finished this series should be noted) and Alpha from Darling in the Franxxx. Mika because he's super broudy and Alpha... Well it was mostly just the hair style. Noel incoperates a lot of tragic tropes and i find it funny he gets compared to every character but the two i actually took for inspiration.

DJ Roadkill: design wise i mishmashed Marshmellow and Deadmaus mascots and made it a bunny. Character wise i was heavily inspired by Panty (PSG), Galo (promare), and Kamina (TTGL) for their loud and confident but well meaning (minus panty) personalities.

Mitts: shes based around the trans in-joke in that trans women end up being programmers/good with computers. So i had the idea to make her a robotics engineer from that!

Rosita: she was heavily inspired by Pinkie pie (MLP) and Mako (KLK)! I love me some cutsey characters that are silly.

Irene: her character, along with Ramon, habe come a long way but i think shes a mix of "parody of straight white woman" and exploring how the lack of a literal childhood and being literally made to punish people effects how they form relationships.

Faye: I just love older dommy mommys who are a little shady.

Cheri: design wise i think i just wanted a red head after watching promised neverland and seeing how cute emma is.

Hordes: Ice King from adventure time and Mr. krabs!

1. Elfen Lied (first horror anime I watched and I was hooked)

2. Neon Genesis Evangelion (I love mechs too much)

3. Darling in the Franxxx (Zero two is literally me 😭 I even got her tattooed on me that's how much I fell in love with this anime also mechs are awesome hehe)

4. Steel Angel Kurumi (this was my first anime I watched ever and well I think I have an obsession with pink haired anime girls I think it started here)

5. For this is one i'm trying so hard to find this mystery, witch, Ghost anime that I watched a long time ago and it stuck with me but I can't remember the name of it 😭 if I find it i'm gonna definitely tell you cause i'm gonna obsess over finding it

Gurren Lagan- Friend lent me the dvd set back in highschool. Honestly. I fell in love with this man.

He just did something for me at the time. I usually don't LIKE Mech animes but they've begun to grow on me a little bit since watching Evangelion and reading Darling in the Franxxx (WHICH IS ALSO DONE BY STUDIO TRIGGER? HELLO? IM LEARNING THIS TODAY??) But yeah, Gurren Lagan probably softened me up to Mech Anime.

But the most recent one I have seen-which was back when I started collage and I needed something to stress watch between classes was Kill La Kill. It's what made me fall in love with the style and sense of humor that Studio Trigger sort of puts on the table.

ALSO STUDIO TRIGGER GOT THE RIGHTS TO PASWG RECENTLY? Which they're bringing bACK? Which is FABULOUS. Cause I fucking love Panty and Stocking despite it's numerous -cough-cough- faults.

Your thoughts on 'Darling In the Franxxx' as far as mecha anime? I just think they're pretty mechs, but apparently its not a "true mech anime" But I also like Evangelion, opposite spectrums of Pretty Mechs I suppose :3

my thoughts on darling in the franxx are that it wants to be the lovechild of Eva and Gurren Lagann while also being a propaganda piece supporting young people getting pregnant and it'd be a hit if it stuck to one gun.

The franxx themselves tho are really nice to look at though and I won't take that from anyone.

I like the idea of naming on of my Owl House OC Zero-Two.

Zero-Two is japanese and in his native language his name is spelled «O-ni» which is a reference to a popular monsters of japanese culture (yeah, just like 02 from Darling in Franxxx).

But I want to put there some symbolism. In several legends o-ni was considered as a guardians of gates to hell. Some humans call Zero-Two a guardian of the Human Realm.

Beautiful parents naming their child "AI" the symbol of their love. These 2 couples are really the best. They've been through so much with their lives especially Mitsuru who used to think he won't trust anyone. And then he get to know more about Kokoro. The two founded love with one another, the love they shared was really strong and made this bundle of joy. Even though their memories were altered, I'm still happy that they were able to find each other again. I knew it that Mitsuru knows he's the father so he still had some fragmented memories, his head still ached when he tried calling her name. But, what's important now is that they have new memories to share, a better one that they truly deserved after their wedding. mitsukoko will forever live in my heart. Thank you for this long journey everyone! 😊
