Foggy likes to play childish games with Matt which drives him crazy but that's what makes Foggy him and Matt deep down likes it but also hates it in a good way

Yes! You can see more of them being playful in the comics and even in the 2003 movie. There are some scenes in the movie where Foggy plays with Matt, without even knowing about his best friend's enhanced senses.

Unfortunately, the series didn't give Foggy and Matt time to develop this kind of banter and antics especially after Foggy accepted who Matt really is.

I had high hopes that in Season 4 we would see Matt and Foggy being more playful with each other and even Foggy having fun with Matt and his crazy senses like, throwing things at him etc and Matt loving it because he can finally relax around his friend. He kind of pretends not to like it and scolds Foggy, but deep down he loves being able to be himself, you know?

... It's something we'll probably never see on screen.

Anyway, there are countless comics where you can see Foggy and Matt playing with each other, perhaps not in a very childish way.

But yeah, they are those kind of friends and I can totally see them being silly and playful and I adore them for that.

"Matt, still crying and very tired of running, finds a peculiar place he never thought was real" What place is this???? Not even he was believing that Times Square was the place that was considered the most powerful, incredible and busy place in all of Hell's Kitchen and was filled with towers, buildings and ruined houses surrounded by advertisements for BNL FISK, the mega corporation, house and monarchy that ruled the kingdom of Hell's Kitchen and also toxic waste, garbage that smelled a lot and its odor was unbearable, in addition to the thousands of towers made of garbage and debris that sank this tundra of technological, magical and medieval waste, frozen in time in the middle of hell that Hell's Kitchen, however, something that surprises you is:

How shit is he breathing!!! because Hell's Kitchen hasn't had practically clean air in centuries and the air in this kingdom is so toxic and deadly that they need air masks, technology and magic to breathe how is that possible? Matt thought perplexed. Now it's time to see and explore!! said Matt with a completely calm voice but a little scared and confused.

Little did he know that his days of seeing the world would be numbered on that day!!!!

I rewatched DD2003…

… and honestly , the movie isn’t as bad as people think or remember it. It isn’t high quality, award winning stuff. But it’s entertaining.

Farrell and Clarke are having a huge blast playing their villains and the fun they are having is just infectious.

Favreau’s Foggy is well done, playing a bit into Foggy’s bitchy side which I love. While he is annoyed by Matt and his do-gooder act, he is loyal and is being a good friend.

Jennifer Garner isn’t doing a bad job per se, but imo she is just a miscast as Elektra. Which isn’t her fault but she also can’t fix that.

Well, Affleck… yeah, personally I feel he is over acting. I think he wanted to lean into the role and kinda overdid it. The costume… well, it IS a bit camp, but hey, look at Matt’s longjohns in the early comics before casting the first stone.

Worst sin: Changing the origin story from “Matt’s a heroic and selfless person” to “Matt’s an idiot who doesn’t watch where he is running” 😒 Most illegal scene: The playground fight. Matt, when a woman doesn’t wanna tell you her name, you accept that. You do NOT start a physical fight with her. You’re a lawyer goddammit. You should know that!

Daredevil Movie Casting Reaction

Did you know that a live-action Daredevil Movie exists? Daredevil is enjoying its 20th anniversary this year! That’s right, Daredevil had it’s opening way back in 2003 to great fanfare. You are forgiven if you never heard of it but it seems the movie is a hot topic. The movie stars Ben Affleck as the lead character Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil. The movie also stars Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Colin Farrell as Bullseye, and Michael Clarke Duncan as Wilson Fisk AKA The Kingpin. Director Steven Johnson is sitting down with Yahoo Entertainment to reflect on the movie and talk about his experience making Daredevil.

I like the interview because the director seems to be pretty open to discussing his regrets. Daredevil did ‘ok’ at the box office and went on to generate a spinoff movie for Elektra actress Jennifer Garner. The director mentions  regrets and challenges from making the movie and one of the comments is a bit… well, you tell me

A Deal with the Kingpin.

I agree with TV Tropes about this. It's a huge missed opportunity to have Elektra go to Kingpin because of his affliction with her father and work for him to kill Daredevil, without even realizing the trouble she got into before it was too late. Nor does she know he was responsible for her father's death by sending a hitman called Bullseye. This event is what would've been perfect for Elektra to be another secondary antagonist.
