Went down a devastating line of thought and I’m taking you all down with me

So I read this (link @desceros) and was like “haha ouchie” and because I actually love to suffer (I’m also summoned from my little rot hole as soon as I see any mention of Lavi). I thought “what if Vi isn’t even there”.

Grief is such an intense, all consuming feeling and it’s not unusual to pretend they’re still with you. To imagine they’re there chastising you while you’re doing something you know they wouldn’t approve of. To have full conversations with (Seemingly) no one while you go about your business, feeling them there with you. Imagining they’re holding you at night, keeping you anchored as you tremble.

Beside him he has a little turtle plush Raph made when you both still had hope. The plush now has a torn piece of your shirt wrapped around her so that you’ll always together. (I wonder if its the one you were wearing when it happened).

There are also a couple of shirts tucked away somewhere that would have been hers. He gave away the rest to someone else on the base who was expecting, he just couldn’t bring himself to give them all away.

He has your shirts hoarded and on rotation to use as his pillow case. If he tries hard enough, and he’s sleep deprived enough, he can still smell traces of you. He can hear whispers of your voice when he’s really sleep deprived.

And if he manages to sleep deprive himself to the point where he sees you? Well that’s his business

(This is essentially fanfic of a fanfic).

I’m reading a spideypool, bc sometimes you just need a muscle daddy and danger twink that can have a power dynamic going either way and still be hot, and I got to thinking. Peter’s eyesight has to be like crazy good right? Like what if it was super focused (I think theres like a scene in one of the movies?) and so he sees like pores and skin flakes and oils oozing or whatever. Like kinda gross and maybe creepy at first for him but it becomes normal. But then he sees Deadpool’s face or like the lower lip area when he’s eating (there’s always a scene with this) and Peter kinda zones in on what to a normal person looks like raw ouch but he’s seeing like a cell division version of those migraine auras.

What I’m saying is, maybe, to Peter’s spider eyes, Deadpool’s skin looks like a cuttle fish changing colors and shape in a cloud or flowing way. Maybe he look kinda pretty.

Deadpool of course would take the awed staring as Peter being grossed out but our poor baby is a nerd and just really liked watching the changing face of this handsome guy.

Wella's design is super cool ! though does she ever need to wipe the ink off her face in case it gets too bad to see? are they constantly staining things with ink and have no control over it?
