Life in general, my energy, the daily sisyphean tasks of being an adult. I do write more than I show you guys. Little drabbles nearly everyday when I can, usually in dms or servers or the writer site I'm always talking up.

Milland - Miller/Roland, regardless of how it starts, does have Roland with a weird work crush/ puppycrush on Miller but he's too new to get it and just thinks he's focused on his coworker. Palmer rolls her eyes at how often he brings up this specific Spartan Handler.

I do love to have opinions, but I also don't like hurting people. My hot take is that maybe...the supersoldiers who have been trained from childhood, who have been fully indoctrinated, who have not had the chance to explore their identities or relationships or had any bodily autonomy...maybe they are not the best examples of certain identities and propping them up as such isn't such a sick burn on the gamer bros as one might think. That being said, anyone can do anything they want, these are fictional characters and I'm not a cop.

9- Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?
Yeah he does! Not that often, but he does (more in a friendly matter rather than an insulting aggressive one). He doesn't remember the first time he swore, but probably when he was a teenager.
15- How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?
Thought on the spot most of the times. He does the "says something"-> "adds side thoughts on the topic" -> "finalizes the actual 'final product' of said thought" a lot.
42- How badly do they want to reach their end goal?
He became an engineer so he could join the UAMC and get surgically turned in to a cyborg human tank so he could work as spaceship gunner/heavy artillerist to defend humanity from aliens and other hostile monsters and avange his mom's death.

oh he does it constantly. Lying is his bread and butter. He lies to other systems in the mech suit to make it malfunction exactly how he wants it to. He lies by omission to everyone else, by pretending to not be self aware, and not be responsible. He'd have a harder time lying to his pilot, just due to his affection, but if caught by anyone else? He'd lie like a champ.
What is your favorite thing about them?
how fucked up he is honestly. He's been through hell and back, and deeply traumatized by it all, and he's just. doing his best, and his best is a million miles from perfect, and thats just so compelling to me.

❄️Share a snippet from a WIP of your choosing.
Rural air whipped through the open windows, bringing with it an intense breeze in exchange for music blasting from the car’s radio. An envelope flapped around on the empty passenger seat, threatening to hitch a ride elsewhere if a particular gust motivated it. A phone buzzed nearby, turning Declan's attention toward it as he grabbed both distractions.
(Really proud of this opening paragraph for an original WIP)

Maddox groaned and rubbed at his eyes in frustration. "I fucking hate chaos days."
The manager walked over and gave his shoulder a sympathetic pat. "We all do. Let's go."
"Promise not to judge me if I cry?" He replied as he was led out of the room.
"Just keep it in the breakroom." The other man said and gestured for him to go on ahead.
(Same WIP, different scene):
"Blood spill my ass." One of the other janitors commented as he stepped up to them and took in the scene.
"Is that what's left of this sector's science team or just some normal freaky monster bullshit?" The same janitor questioned while everyone else looked on in soul-crushing apathy or shock.
"I'm assuming monster bullshit, otherwise the alarms would be going off." Thomas placated despite his lack of answers.
"I crave death. I actually crave it." Maddox muttered as he pulled out his slurry vacuum and turned it on, with the rest of the team gradually doing the same.
"I found a bone." Brent announced and raised it up for those who chose to look to see. "Who wants to take bets on who or what it belongs to?"
(I'm sure I could find some proper banger monologues or dialogue, but those would probably be in the later sections of my Among Us stuff, so eh.)

Robot: Spartan IIs any day of the week. I'm always a sucker for tragic broken heroes, and nothing is more broken than a bunch of kids abducted at a young age that had to endure gruesome medical experiments forced to fight in a myriad of wars they never asked for.
Syringe: Ooh, that's a tough one. I guess Ill have to go with the Covenant since there's so much juicy worldbuilding with them. I've been fascinated by them every since I first laid eyes on the Arbiter levels of Halo 2 when I was a wee little girl.

⚙️: Easy, Spartans. ODSTs are second, but come on. Spartans, man. They fascinate me immensely. Their vibe 100% fucks. I have so many Spartan OCs.
🎉: I think..... hmmm. Well, you know what character I’m answering about, because come on, it’s me. Also, it’s two headcanons tied for number one spot because why the fuck not.
The first headcanon is that Carter is most definitely Not White ( look, there’s no definitive answer as to his ethnicity in canon, so it’s a headcanon backed up by research and evidence, one of those things that might be canon but because it hasn’t been confirmed either way, it’s something that I call my own ); that he’s got some form of mixed heritage going on, and that Xhosa / Bantu African ( if that’s the wrong way to term that, please feel free to correct me ) is a big part of it.
The second headcanon is that one Colonel Marmon Crowther ( yes, That Guy from Halo: Silent Storm ) is Carter’s biological father. Further into headcanon territory would be that Marmon survives the events of the novel and eventually gets to meet his grown up son, because I like fun things like that.

Smoke Break chapter 2 has two unnamed OCs who see Miller beef it in a hallway and I love them equally. They are the audience's witnesses to really drive home how stupid he is being.
9 - What is your favorite dialogue you’ve written so far?
“And here I was hoping to witness you giving him the shovel talk.” Roland chimes in from where he’s been standing so quietly and well behaved.
“Roland.” Palmer grouses, but is unable to keep the smile from forming on her face. “Someone needs to be the adult around here.”
“And that just so happens to be you?” Roland quips back, but huffs when she waves a hand through his avatar.
“Only under the most dire circumstances.”
15 - In as vague of terms as possible (to avoid spoiling), how do you anticipate this chapter/fic to end?
Leans in close to the microphone: the rating will change, audience members will describe it as sloppy and homoerotic. The word fraternization will be tossed around and so will Lasky's slutty lil pauldron.

Top Gun: Peacock 🤠+🐓= 🦚 [Part 4]
Due to an inexplicable malfunction of the new F-302 fighter-interceptor, Mitchell Nicholas Seresin-Bradshaw, callsign Peacock, travels back to a time when the suicide mission has already occurred, but his parents aren’t together yet.
[There’s some heavy mutual pining going on though.]

Most Daggers –including Rooster and Hangman– are away on a joint exercise with the US Air Force, except for Phoenix and Coyote who remain on base to teach new recruits. That’s why they’re the first ones to be called by the COMPACFLT himself.
He informs them that earlier this day an unknown aircraft has crash-landed on the aircraft carrier under Admiral Rick Hollywood Neven’s command.
The extraordinary likeness to Lt. Jake Hangman Seresin and the fact that the plane is engraved under the name of Lt. Mitchell Seresin-Bradshaw “Peacock” are enough for Admiral Neven to make a direct call to The Iceman and let him deal with that bullshit. [With the promise to tell him everything afterwards, ‘cause they’re all a bunch of gossipers.]
Mitchell then greets the younger version of his g.o.b.s.m.a.c.k.e.d godparents with an enthusiastic ‘Howdy Auntie Nat! Howdy Uncle Jav!’ and proceeds to kiss his auntie’s cheek and to do the very choreographically-complex handshake with his uncle – who does it automatically as it’s the same he does with Jake every day.

Mitchell has already charmed Penny with a kiss on the back of her hand and is now happily dancing with the other patrons.
Meanwhile Natasha and Javy are supposed to be playing pool, but they can’t help but watch their godson…
Coyote: Can you believe our best friends are responsible for the most adorable and sweetest godson ever? The best parts of Jake with the best Bradshaw attributes. Dude’s a killer.
Phoenix: I’m frankly relieved Mitchell has not inherited our best friends’ dumbassery. After all, minus one dumbass asshole times minus one asshole dumbass equals one positive smart and nice guy. Maths is beautiful that way…
Coyote, snorting and high fiving her: Nice one, Nat. It also means they get their shit together sometimes in the future. I hope it’s soon. ‘Cause I can’t take anymore of their ‘Bradshaw, as I live and breathe’ & ‘Hangman you look *insert suggestive pause* good’ bullshit routine.
Phoenix, groaning: Right?! I run out of place to mark a cross each time Bradley gives him a once-over and Jake bites his lips with an hungry look. I’m getting so distracted I didn’t see the COMPACFLT entering the class the other day and almost didn’t stand to attention. How embarrassing!
Peacock calls his godparents and asks them to come over and sing the Great Balls of Fire song with him.
Coyote: Think we can interrogate our godson about this 'Finn' guy? Seems to be a recurrent character in his current/future life...
Phoenix: First one to make him spill the beans pays the other's tab?
Coyote: Deal.
