Opp and Nutt had like five minutes of screen time together in SCOY as Intouch and Daisy and to this day, they still like every single one of each others Instagram posts. Opp is even a T/K-Pop group now but they still follow each other and regularly like each others posts. I adore them. The ship is a tiny boat but damn it it’s still sailing! I know it’s prolly never gonna happen but I would watch the fuck out of a series with them as the leads.

just found out that opp weerapong (intouch in scoy) is debuting in a thai-korean boy band which means that his time for acting will be greatly diminished or completely destroyed which means we most likely won’t be getting an daisyintouch spin-off series or even just an oppnutt series

Tbh bringing Kong would be a good idea if it were to see Nuea actually jealous, but he was just angry. He knew all along that the boy was after him, not Toh. Better option would be keeping the SkyJao jealousy trope, not having Kong, adding more DaisyTouch and having Nuea find out about the mementos the same way. Having Kong around had nothing to do with him discovering them, he could be at his house for any other reason...-🌻

yeah exactly! we could've had a nice parallel to the jealousy we got to see from sky and jao's secret admirer but instead we got whatever that was 😂 yeah the whole kong stalking scenes was just so ??? bizarre and random and that's saying something for scoy lmfao, it added nothing other than making me more annoyed at him 😂 & then we got the whole toh being like "why didn't you tell me" scene and they all just moved on and he was forgotten about 😂 like we kinda already had the nuea jealousy trope already with both when he thought touch was going after toh before they got together and during that scene where nueatoh went to the movies on a date and those two girls showed up and toh did tell them that he was nuea's boyfriend.

plus with daisyintouch they can't just have that whole daisy trying to change herself because of what she overheard touch's friend say and NOT have intouch and daisy talk about that and resolve that issue between them, because given the way that daisy is still styling herself it seems like that storyline isn't completly over and i'm hoping they combat it in the finale

DaisyIntouch - in honour of opp's viral moment with The7's Get Loose i can't not mention the most gentle, sweetest couple in SCOY; i wish their arc was handled a bit better, it felt rushed by the end; they're amazing nonetheless

i procrastinated on this just so the answer would be worth it (cause i watched a mediocre french movie but mostly didn't pay attention and that didn't sound like a good answer); the movies i saw today instead of the indian movie im procrastinating on seeing:

She's Dating the Gangster (2014) - this philippino movie made me realise that netflix's "true love" category should've been called "heartbreak" but they renamed it so well

the intros and summaries truly suck because i thought i was going into a light "fake dating" romcom with a pair of cute silly teens as the leads! what i got instead was so sad and a tad bit melodramatic that at the end i didn't know how to feel.. i did cry though! i was hanging in there and yet it got me; it's a sweet movie, although it could be overwhelming, and i would recommend it! it's kind of my fave out of the three, i wasn't too sure how it was gonna end too; one really strong point is the sweet twist on the makeover trope that the movie doesn't even use to promote itself, it's kinda naturally in there and it made me so happy

Jumping From High Places (2022) - this italian romantic-but-more-about-self-growth movie about a young woman with anxiety was not technically confusing but it had me bored halfway through (again, the sample video thingy netflix shows had an energy that imo was not there throughout the film, i found it misleading); i'm just happy i picked up on smth that is probably supposed to be a surprising reveal hehe; i wouldn't not recommend it, i feel like it could be relatable and a sweet experience for some

Your Place or Mine (2023) - a typical hollywood movie, what can i say, it's been pushed onto me and i was kinda interested, gonna lie if i say the cast wasn't a part of the reason i caved in (i'm curious bout what kutcher and witherspoon are doing now, yeah);

i think it's kinda bland, it had some good sentiments but at the end i found the female lead too unlikeable and the story kind of stretched out and a bit rushed at the same time (maybe it was actually well paced and a proper length, just not my thing, that's possible. the gray overlay (?) was so depressing though, even her bright and green home felt awfully unwelcoming)

I messed up and hit play on Viki and now I’m rewatching SCOY….why are the school uniforms powder blue but the basketball and cheerleading uniforms are red and navy???

Also, even though I know it’ll never happen, I need Nutt and Tong to be in something playing the sassiest brothers on the face of the planet. Daisy is essentially baby Tankhun.

We should have gotten more DaisyIntouch. So rude.

Freen and Becky look like babies compared to them in Gap. Yes I understand that a few years have passed but still. They look so young here!!!

Glad I haven’t forgotten how cringey this show was. I still love it. Toh is such a weirdo, he’s lucky as fuck that he fell for someone equally as weird.

I love Jao so much still and I already want to kick anybody’s ass who gives him anything but adoration.

no intouchdaisy interaction? daisy crying? daisy trying to be mainly so she could appease to touch's friends? nuea staying quiet with the instagram pic? SO NO INTOUCHDAISY??

THAT ENTIRE PART 4/4 SURE WAS SOMETHING HUH

tho that said, i did actually like it even if it was painful to watch. scoy has always been way more about The Queer Experience over like, shipping and the way they handled daisy trying to grapple with trying to fit in a gender box to appease the boy she likes (even tho he never asked her to do so) was really nice. ESPECIALLY the way the core four handled it -- their unwavering support combined with their questions of is this what daisy wants or is this what daisy thinks she has to do?

i mean, who of us who aren't in the cis heteronormative mold haven't had an experience where it's like -- should i pretend to fit that box so i can make friends easier/find a romantic partner easier/whatever the hell that just boils down to some sort of acceptance? this was daisy having that crisis in reaction to meeting a boy she really, really, really likes. i think the lack of intouch this episode was on purpose bc he's never shown to be interested in daisy being anything but herself. this was daisy's crisis to work through, she didn't need a man to tell her she was okay as who she was, she needed her friends to do that. her family. which they did, very passionately. they took care of her like she needed in that moment! daisy's "i'm so exhausted" was really everything to me.

as for nuea not reacting to the instagram hate, i think this is going to be a similar plot we've seen elsewhere where for nuea, he doesn't see it as a threat bc it isn't a big deal to him. he's always been talked about online, that's just his norm. he probably expected his fans to hate toh, same way toh expected them to hate him. (which is probs why he's always like i like you, trust that i like you and i will always like you.) he's probably in for an empathy wake up call next episode when he actually SEES toh and realizes how this is making him feel, when toh has never been in the spotlight before unlike nuea.

either way, my faith isn't shaken in this show at all. i really liked this episode and i liked this direction for conflict bc it's still really baked into the overall message of queer acceptance that this show keeps beating the drum of.
