Heya! I've stumbled upon your Osomatsu San × Avenue Q crossover, and I really liked it.
Did you ever draw more art with them? I mean, the post says "part 1 out of 4", so I wonder if it's just me who can't find shit.
No worries, it's not you--parts 2, 3, and 4 don't exist yet! I can be a slowpoke when it comes to drawing sometimes but I do still very much have plans to make and post 'em.
Uh, I should probably mention that the Avenue Q crossover is part of a PuppetMatsu crossover thing I'm doing with the Matsuno bois and puppet related media.
So I have it planned that part 2 will be a crossover with Sesame Street, part 3 with The Muppets, and part 4 will be specifically The Electric Mayhem (the Muppet band).
I may as well just rip the bandaid now, but unfortunately the Matsu bros will just be their regular humanish selves and not puppet-fied like I did with Avenue Q. Mostly because I have them assigned to specific characters they're either gonna interact with and/or dress as but for the sake of still being recognizable they'll be kept humans! I managed to get away with making them puppets with Avenue Q since I didn't assign them to any characters, just had em sing some of the songs I felt fit them the most.
It was really fun drawing them in puppet form tho so I'm tempted to do it again somehow...IDK maybe their puppet forms ARE recognizable enough that I can still pair them off with a Muppet and the concept will get across. (very open to any input tho I have decided that Sesame Street will be human Matsus mostly cuz they gonna be wearing character onsies)
I hope people won't be too disappointed by it since I know a lot like the puppet matsus!

Happy NaruSaku Day & Happy Birthday to Hanami Uzumaki!!! 🍥🌸🥳
Quick Question about Hanami: What do you absolutely love about her? For me I don't know too much about her but I really love her design and she's really fun to draw. She's seems like a really fun character and I get such a really warm feeling whenever I look at her. My birthday is also within same month as Hanami's. Seven days away from hers really, which isn’t exactly close but it's close enough so I'm happy.
Comment on NaruSaku: I'm honestly really glad I gave NaruSaku a chance. I used to be a pro-NaruHina fan and didn't like when people said they liked NaruSaku better (very immature I know, still cringe at that til this day🤦♀️). Even when I was really disappointed in the ending, I still blindly defended NaruHina with my life. But over time I started to come to terms that NaruHina was not a good ship and joined the NaruSaku fandom out of genuine curiosity and because I was starting to notice details about them that got me interested. I started to fall out of love with NaruHina and leaned more to NaruSaku. I honestly had more fun with NaruSaku then I did with NaruHina because of the amount of symbolism they have together. I still like NaruHina but not as much as I used to. I've come to realize that I loved their potential as ship rather than what they are in canon. The potential was there but the execution was done very poorly. It's even worse when there was good potential in their kids but nothing was done with them but a bad story. But that's enough venting (sorry about that), I really love NaruSaku from their story, to their symbolism, and to their kids—ESPECIALLY their kids! My favorite detail about NaruSaku is that the Uzumaki-Haruno symbol looks like the rising sun flag and that they represent two of the most well known symbols of Japan! I also just really like how we're just finding so much hidden details about them that's most likely just a coincidence but who knows.
Anyway, Happy NaruSaku Day and I hope you enjoy yourself on this very special day!

ALSO HELL YEAH ARIES POWEEERRR! My birthday is a day after Sakura's, on the 29th of March haha.
I'm so happy that basically around my birthday I get to celebrate Sakura's birthday, NaruSaku's day, Hanami's birthday, Sakura's Brazilian VA's along with Junko-san's birthday is around the same time.
So really, HELLA MUCH POWER in this fam haha.
As for what I love about Hanami? Well, everything? How she's a mix of Naruto & Sakura's most inner mischievous selves and plays pranks. She's such a bubbly character, really. Full of life, like a full blown spring. After all, her name says it all.
I like that she's a very resourceful girl - she might not have her mother's & brother's patience to learn complicated techniques, but she is smart enough to work in her own way. Kinda like her dad, actually. Naruto was never the book smarts. He was more the "street smarts" and that served him so well in battle if we think about it.
In my interpretation of things, she's quick on her feet, so to speak. Both physically and mentally. That's why she doesn't have the patience to stay and study long boring texts about techniques, lol.
She's more of a "do you feel me" type of girl? As in very intuitive, just to be clear here.
So yeah, I basically love that she's a bubble of energy all around and everywhere she goes she just makes people bloom with her sweet & mischievous personality.
Also wow, you were a NH fan? What a surprise. Welcome to this side of the fandom, tho! We're happy to have you.
And hey, look, you don't have to feel bad for liking NH. It was a part of your life. Of your experience. You can like both if you ask me, lol.
Cuz for example while in canon I don't like how things worked out, in fanon tho? I could make countless scenarios where all the pairings work. That's the fun of fanon, hahaha.
So at the end of the day, feel free to enjoy both of them however YOU want because it's YOUR experience and no one else's.
I'm glad to see you've opened yourself to the NaruSaku experience. It's really awesome and as a former multishipper myself, I totally understand your predicament.
Once upon a time I was a NS/SS/NH multishipper. With time and different experiences I stayed NS only because as a symbolism enthusiast I just couldn't help but love their thematic symbolism and the little nuggets Kishimoto was dropping for these two.

your fine!! most of the time louis and molly get hella hyperfixated and much like people on our dash they spam enough times (aka do so much with the fixation) its kinda spreads
some like it more than others while some dont like it at all, but this being our main blog yall only really see our biggest fixations lol
red and louis share the most hype for tmnt while me (hi!! im amy!!) molly and a few others just tag along cuz its fun and drawing them while one or the other co fronts is nice bonding time for us
as for when we wanna do something that is solely an us thing, we either just go ahead and do it or ask, other times we have like a turn list for like movies or the radio! art wise we usually just do what we want unless we switch mid piece, then depending on who it is we either leave their stuff alone or add our own touch to it

Finished the next OC ref! Now it’s Allison’s turn! Story's under the cut cuz I just tried a new format.
Why'd You Make Her?: She was a self-insert like a lot of my present-day OCs that I made back in late 2020 when I finally watched all of Hellsing Ultimate. I'm a serial shipper and I really got attached to Alucard, so I made her as someone he could connect with and confide in. I have a thing with wanting to give characters friends/lovers. I feel like nowadays she's responsible for a lot of my followers lol
What's Her Deal?: Allison's that typical Victorian lady -- soft, prim and proper, all about manners and respect. She's very much attached to her husband, for better or worse, and while she doesn't like to fight (it's so unseemly) she is not afraid to cross swords if she believes her loved ones are being threatened. Her compassionate nature is often pitted against common vampire complexes, and she also has a lot of insecurities from others mocking her or not taking her seriously (which happened quite often in her childhood and only continued when she became Alucard's wife). Alucard and Integra are probably the only ones who can tell what she's hiding, because she's gotten good at presenting a front for the sake of a tougher appearance. Thankfully, her hundred years of life has helped to harden her up, and while she's very devoted to Alucard she doesn't let him get away with anything.
In terms of powers, she can do pretty much all the stuff her husband can. Thanks to some stuff Van Helsing did to them, Allison would only drink her husband's blood for upwards of seventy years -- thus, her powers are much stronger than a typical vampire her age's would be.
Do I Ship Her?: Yes, with Alucard. I really like characters with a Hades/Persephone dynamic, and it's really fun to write/draw Alucard. I guess that even as creepy as they seemed, even back when they were a fresh new couple, their marriage was pretty damn progressive for their time, becausethe general Victorian norm was that married women became property to their husbands, giving them rights to what their bodies produced, and Alucard is hella big on consent so their marriage is based off "hey, is this okay honey? i wanna make sure you're comfortable with this first."
What's The Story?: Allison was born in Connecticut in June 1859, and is the eldest of four children. Her dad was an awful person, but rather than being the physically-abusive Victorian Dad stereotype, he relied more on mental and emotional abuse. He really didn't like Allison because he wanted a firstborn son instead, and pretty much forgot about her when her younger brother(s) were born. Somehow, she managed to con her dad into letting her go to college in London (Bedford College!), where she got a degree in English.
Allison met Alucard (then Dracula) in Transylvania while attempting to study abroad. Originally intending to turn her and make her another servant, Alucard decided against it after, for some reason, he couldn’t go through with it and dropped her at a halfway house. Allison, in the contagious spirit of “what the actual fuck”, stormed back to the townhouse Alucard was staying in, and demanded he give her an explanation. Imagine her surprise when Alucard broke down and started crying that he didn’t know why he wanted to spare her, and she stayed with him out of a weird gut feeling. They eventually moved to his castle in Transylvania, and over time the two fell in love. They married three years after they met, and Allison was turned on their wedding night. The couple went back to London for their five-year wedding anniversary, and through a series of extremely unfortunate events, they were captured by Abraham Van Helsing. Alucard was able to save their lives by swearing his servitude to Van Helsing’s bloodline, and the rest is pretty much history. Allison now lives in the sub-basement of the Hellsing manor, with the intent of keeping Alucard company while he waits for his contract with the Hellsings to be finished.

I DO!! I have a lot!!
I don't wanna give away too much since I plan on producing comics that would explain the story entirely, but I will most certainly share what I can! Which is... Already a lot!
I'll give some lore for just Raziel and Michael to start with cuz I feel like if I start rambling freely, I'll get overwhelmed cuz there's just so much INFORMATION ya know?
Michael is, as some of you may have guessed, the general of Heaven's armies. Now, of course, every section as their own higher ranking angel to receive direct orders from, but those higher ranking angels all gotta answer to Michael. He also works as a judge when the time calls for it.
Michael's a good general (and judge), he's very intelligent when it comes to battle strategies and has a strong voice when giving commands and orders, he's got a strong moral compass too. But outside of that... Michael isn't the best at one-on-one casual conversation, it's not something he's personally confident in, compared to how he feels when planning out strategies for combat, training, etc. He stumbles over his words a lot and sometimes struggles with finding the correct response to a question or statement. He's an introvert, not too keen on crowds and feasts and the like -- so unless it's explicitly related to something he feels he's good at (aka his general duties) then he usually opts out.. That is unless Heylel (aka Lucifer) manages to drag him out from whatever dark corner in Heaven he's hiding in.
It's not that he hates spending time with the other angels in a more casual setting, not at all! He's just super awkward about it and doesn't like large gatherings.
Michael also has a hidden passion for the arts - specifically the musical arts, sometimes he'd hide away in a corner of the room during a gathering Heylel dragged him too and just.. take in the music the Heavenly Choir is producing. He specifically likes instruments like lyres and kinnors, flutes, and when bells come around he absolutely falls in love with them. The ringing makes him happy :). Just wait until he finds out about the triangle! Hes always wanted to play these instruments, but he feels as though it isn't his.. place to be part of the choir, he doesn't even sing really... Just hums along.
Michael's best friend and closest brother at the beginning of his story is (or.. was) Heylel. They're fairly close in age (Michael being only a smidgen younger than Heylel, all things considered). While Heylel certainly pushes his buttons at times with the whole socializing thing, he also knows when to drop it and leave Michael be, and Michael appreciates that, since quite a few of the other angels close to them in rank (specifically Gabriel and Metatron) sometimes don't always pick up on when Michael is just straight up done socializing. (Not complete fault of their own, mind you, sometimes it just be like that.) But there was always a bit of... Tension. Heylel liked being in the spotlight, he liked being in the center of attention, and Michael understood that, he respected that, hell he even let some of his own accomplishments be credited as Heylel's just to make his older bro happy. Michael doesn't mind having some attention and victory taken away from him, after all, he's not one for socializing, after all, Heylel is the more social one -- the more likeable one, always has been, so surely giving him a few more accomplishments to his name wouldn't hurt. If Heylel is happy and enjoying all the attention, then Michael is happy.. right?
Now for Raziel...
Raziel is the keeper of secrets and general knowledge of the universe. According to texts, he sits by God's throne and writes down everything God whispers to him. I've changed that a bit and made it so he can pick up on this knowledge from his Father in.. a weird sort of one-way telepathy? In a way? Yeah, one-way telepathy, that's it! Cuz I want him to walk around and such.
He also has hyper-sensitive hearing that he could even use to pick up on what other angels are whispering about. He has a thing for control, you see, and knowledge and secrets allow him to feel in control of the situations around him. Writing down this information also helps him feel in control, he chooses what words to use, he chooses how to organize this information, he knows where he's written in and how it's written. He's even added little drawings to go along with the written text. Diagrams and sketches explaining the wonders of the universe..! Like, black holes, Obama's last name, ya know. Usual universe magic stuff. He takes great pride in being knowledgeable.
He... Actually hates social interaction for the most part. He likes working from the shadows, being sneaky, being mysterious. Mr. "I'm so secretive, I'm an enigma, nobody knows why I'm here or who I am" ... Everybody knows who you are, Raziel. He does have a small group of friends, surprisingly! Raguel, who's his closest friend, they're practically inseparable -- just two quiet bros who enjoy chilling in the same dark corner in complete silence, just enjoying eachother's company -- AND!! Raphael, Barachiel (how well known is he again lol?), And Azrael! Raph, Bara, and Az are their own group, but thanks to Raph's constant attempts at dragging Raguel to their hang out sessions in Raph's Medicine Hut™, Raziel accidentally got roped into it as well. So he just kinda, stands/sits in the corner during these hangouts and writes in his book while the other four converse (mainly it's just... Raguel being exasperated and slightly weirded out with Raph and Bara's incredibly dark humor, and Raph just being a little shit in general. I love Raph. Also Azrael is having the jokes completely fly over his head but it's okay cuz he's having a good time regardless). What a fun group! :) Sure hope nothing bad or tragic happens to them :)

I’ve never been to a club nor am a party person in general but I think that Carla would be a freakin epic person to go to clubbing with. Let’s just say Carla can get drunk off of human alcohol––I wanna see him bust a MOVE!
2. In a Science test would you copy Yuma’s test or Ayato’s test?
Definitely Yuma’s. The guy literally takes care of plants, he probably knows a thing or two about biology or chemistry at least. (assuming I do attempt to cheat cuz man,,, attempting that stuff makes me NERVOUS)
3. Would you rather have Kino and Azusa or Shin and Laito, as your Butlers?
,,,,,,do I even need to say which option I’d choose? Yeah uhhh definitely Shin and Laito. Listening to that VS III cd of the both of them was so entertaining, they’re definitely a fun, yet unexpected pair. And uh Laito in a more “””submissive””” position??????????? ,,,,,,boy oh boy do I love the masochistic streak that man has,,,,,
4. Go on a date with Reiji at an Aquarium or go on a date with Subaru at a Cafe instead?
,,,,,,,Bro I can’t stand Reiji but I LOVE aquariums (also Tsuki why are you afraid of aquariums omg ;;;;). But I also love Cafes and going to one with Subaru would be really nice.... But,,,, I can’t abandon an opportunity to go to an aquarium so I’d chose the former option. I’d probably try to challenge Reiji about his knowledge of marine animals. I bet I can outsmart him with my oddly extensive knowledge of horseshoe crabs, hehe (｀･ω･´) (horseshoe crabs are my favorite animal haha)
5. Would you rather go support/see Kou at one of his Concerts or go support/see Shu at one of his Violin Performances?
Oh GOD this is a toughie!!! I love Kou so much and I think his concerts would be really fun, but Shu is also a very talented bby,,,, I love them both,,,,, But I’d probably have to go with Kou for this one. I’m not usually down with the rave atmosphere but seeing Kou would be SO fun.
6. In a Math Project would you team up with Ruki and Shin or with Reiji and Yuma? Who would fight less with each other?
I was like “Reiji is def good at math so I’ll choose the latter” then I was like oh god he’s teamed up with Yuma, that’s no good,,,, However, I know Yuma can protect himself so I’m less worried about that, and Reiji could catch these hands after class if he makes any passive aggressive comments at Yuma. I’m a very school-oriented person so I’d probably go with Ruki/Shin on this one, for the grade and the decreased drama.
7. Who would you put your bets on, Kanato eating the most chocolates or Ayato eating the most Takoyaki?
I think I’ve read somewhere that Kanato got a stomach ache from eating too many sweets??? I think??? So I’d probably bet on Ayato. That guy loves that stuff like no other.
8.- Sleep in Carla’s room, Subaru’s room or in Shu’s room? (You have the room to yourself, they aren’t there) Would you peak on their stuff?
Considering Shu likes sleep,,,, his bed is probably at maximum comfort. I know he sleeps pretty much everywhere and anywhere, but still. I mean Subaru sleeps in a coffin, and that’s pretty metal,,,,, Also Carla’s room just looks nice too. But I love the layout of Shu’s so I’ll just stick with Shu haha.
Edit: omg I forgot to answer the latter part of the question.... hmmmm it is tempting.... I don’t think Shuu would kill me??? He’d probably mess with me tho—which,,, is better than death ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
9. You’re a princess of the Victorian era! Your father has ordered that you have a bodyguard.. who would you choose as your personal bodyguard, Laito or Kou?
Kou is probably the more logical answer cuz he can actually throw hands when he needs/wants to, but I’m not logical when it comes to anything relating to Laito so,,,,, Laito,,,,,,, heh
10. Would you prefer to have Kino in his bat form as your pet or Shin in his wolf form as your pet instead?
Omg first of all I didn’t know Kino had a bat form and that’s wicked cute. I don’t know too much about Kino lmao; I’d go with Kino and his bat form if I did know more about Kino. I love bats, I find them so cute, but I’m also a dog person, and Shin’s wolf form is heavily memed on. So Shin for the meme and also to have a freAKING PINK WOLF????? FUCK YEAH
11. Break a fight between Kou and Ayato or between Laito and Kanato?
Oh god these are both a terrifying pair,,,, but Laito and Kanato are more terrifying when they're angry compared to Kou and Ayato. So I’d probably break up a fight between Laito and Kanato and then I don’t mind if I get the brunt of it by Laito later oops.
12.- Who would you kiss on the cheek, who would you kiss on the forehead and who would you kiss on the eyelids? Options: Ruki, Subaru, Azusa.

Uh so starting off, I dont really feel like I have a sense of self so I just asked my closest friends what kind of person I am for these mcyt ships, so.. i’ll give you their opinions on me then speak a bit about what i think of myself, i hope its not too much ;; ( also i only had one friend actually send me what they see me as, cuz the rest of my friends just.. theyre dumb n shi, but i still love them, so you’ll only hear from two perspectives ^^ )

Now for my own perspective, i’ll go into a bit if detail of what i look like then my personality. I am a 5’4 person who is more on the slim side, I have brown eyes, my current haircut is the wolfcut with wavy fluffy layers, the color is mix of a light-dark brown and red, so it looks like i have red streaks which i think is pretty cool ^^ I have percings on both my ears and i’m planning on getting more earrings, maybe even starting a small collection of unique ones i find. that’s it for the appearance ig, (sorry for sounding so awkward or stiff, just.. bare with me here im struggling lol)

onto your art, punz will love anything you make :D he’s terrible at drawing and anything like that, and often praises you because he really can’t believe that he’s lucky enough to be with somebody as talented as you are (even if you might not agree with him, he knows your artwork is amazing.)

Uh, not anymore unfortunately. When i was in middle school, i played basketball, volleyball, did cheerleading, and was in running club. In highschool, i did cross country in the fall, and i think that's it lol, since i was mostly obsessed with doing theatre lol. I realy liked building the sets and painting, and being on running crew lol. If i ever decided to join a sport, it would be either soccer or beach volleyball, since those seem the most fun. And good cardio too!
📖 Do you write?

Oh I wishhh. That would be so cool. I used to be able to play the piano, and I'm able to reteach myself the scales and play simple songs if I'm sitting at home, but that's about it lol. 🚗 Can you drive?
Surprisingly, yes. Lol I'm a Midwest American queer, so we gotta either learnt to drive ourselves to the cool places, or date someone who can drive us everywhere xD I'm great driving in my hometown and in my college town, but I still can't drive in super big cities quite yet. Uhhh, it's kinda complicated.
I like makeup as a concept of freedom of expression, feminity, a way of transforming yourself into a piece of art, blurring the lines between gender ideals, presentation, makeup for fantasy concepts, etc.
But i also dont't like makeup sometimes because it's def been used as a tool to pressure women into performative feminity, used, as a way to groom young girls, used a sneaky way of breaking down a lot of ppl's self confidence, it encourages highly unrealistic beauty standards (for both women and men), i also hate how motherfucking EXPENSIVE and unsustainable it is.
So as a tool for art, genderfuckery, and self-expression, i love it. But as a msrketing concept mostly driven by male CEOs and years and years of misogny and captialism? Not so much lol. I like wearing makeup for big occasions or for when i feel hyperfeminine some days, but I usually prefer going without it.

Yeah, to a reasonable extent lol. I'm not one of those queer that obsesses over every little detail tho. I'm still def learning about it. I recently lesrned that you can combine astrology, with tarot readings, which can greatly specifiy the readings, for both yourself and other people, so I think i'll try that once I get a tarot deck for my birthday lol.
🎁 Fave holiday?
Well, I could be one of those queers who automatically says Halloween, but the more i think about it, i think i like the fall/halloween season waaayy more. Which makes me think that I actually like Thanksgiving a lot, as just, an American holiday. I don't think we shoukd really celebrate it for it's historical reasons, but i also will never say no to good food, family, friends, and a general warmth and sense of peace during that time of the year :3
💞 Fave thing to do on a first date?
Festivals!!!! I looooovee going to any type of market, festival, etc. with someone. I think it's a great way to explore, start conversations, and learn about someone. Cuz like, the type of art, food, trinkets, and music that draws someone in can you a lot about that person, if you think about it! It's hella cute. And then once you're tired of the crowds, most festivals usually have quiet garden or parks near them that you can escape to for some quiet time and deep conversations, lol.

No, I don't have a girlfriend lol. I have an amazing and very caring boyfriend tho. I have briefly dated women in the past tho. It's been fun, lol. I've always wondered, if i had more past romantic/sexual experiences with women, then maybe i'd possibly identify as a lesbian, but honestly, I'm proud of my journey, and I get very happy when I think about my bigender-ness and bisexuality lol. Oh def, winter, lol. Altho winter depression is real most years, idk, i feel lkke i would rather be anxious and cold, rather than angry and sweating buckets lol. Actually now that I think about it, the summer always makes me a little more moody than winter, cause i always feel like i should doing more, but summer's really a time for waiting and rest, if you think about it. Instead of messaging you at 3:37 am while you sleep I will write here. Write whatever I want because hopefully I will have self control and not send it anyway.
‘Lullaby’ and ‘Don’t You Worry About Me’ by Lukas Graham just came on and now I want to get serious. And I probably will send you this... when you wake the heck up. Lol.
You said something about how it’s weird to find god after a psychotic break... and I understand that fully but I’ll explain why it happens to me EVERY time I am hospitalized.
When you are in a place like -insert 3 mental health hospitals here- you feel punished. You feel ALONE... and if you let yourself believe god exists, well then you are not alone after all.
After -FV hospital- in 2011 I was 22 and I went to see Ben Rector live at the intersection in the front lounge. I didn’t even know he was a Christian artist until I got out of -FV- this time around. Like on 2/10/2020 I mean. The back is bigger at the intersection so it was maybe $10 for front shows and bob marley’s kid was performing in the back. Idk which one lol. I went out to smoke cigs periodically and I BET stoners were smoking joints and I didn’t know it. I tried weed my first time a week later while drunk on my friends 21st birthday. I smoked with her step brother (he was her roommate) and she was passed out drunk (duh) so she didn’t partake. I found myself on the deck dizzy and alone after... puking.

This house was in a trailer park and I lived with my parents 4 miles away. I drove my drunk/high ass home and I’m not sure how I didn’t fucking die. Lol. See. God probably made sure I made it home safe. I still remember it vividly. Like, I can feel how dizzy and unsafe I was driving but I made it.
In 2017 I was hospitalized for 3 weeks, court ordered by my family, after I had met a man named "Levi” at a wedding and wanted to leave "Bob” for him. He was closer to my age, hella hot, smoked cigs and called them fags because he was from Europe. He had the same mustache tattoo as me and it was on the same finger. We snap chatted inappropriately and I don’t fucking regret it either but he bailed on me and would never speak to me again after I got out of the hospital. “Bob” and I were separated after that stay and I threw a remote at his face and he called the cops on me to report domestic assault. It was really hard and I wondered if I would go to jail. I didn’t. Don’t you think maybe god said “not today satan?” Hahaha cuz I do.
I was going to church then. -Insert church name here-. It’s non denominational and it felt right. I felt lonely and afraid so I caved and took “Bob” back even though I didn’t want to. I started crawling into his bed instead of my own. He was sleeping in the spare room and I realized I couldn’t be alone. I WANTED to be... but I couldn’t support myself and I had no other options.
“Bob” went to church with me then too a little. He has strong doubts about faith but I’ve never heard him say he is an atheist... unlike you lol.
This time around you were very present in my life for the postpartum mania and I HOPE I have not scared you. I’m pretty sure I’m just scaring myself now more than anything. I got A LOT of male attention in -FV hospital-, as I do at every hospital because I’m hella fun manic and draw people in. I’m smart, I practice self care (unlike when I’m depressed) and it shows when I let myself love myself again.
I tried to cling to “Bob” in there this time. I transferred units to avoid the men cuz 500E only ever had 3 men at all times. Coincidence I think, maybe god again?? Haha! I don’t know. I just realized that too. “Liam” told me not to put “Bob” on my phone plan when I talked about it and I defended my future actions saying “but I’m married” like it fucking mattered.
Insert break to let "the girl dogs” out and play more tunes. It’s 4:03 now and this is how ADHD I really am lol
“Take the world by storm” is on now and I feel like I’m gonna do it. In my own time.
“I want to tear down boundaries and greet my enemies” such a good song too.
It’s 4:07 and as I smoke while “Tony” barks like a bitch I realize this will have to be emailed cuz it’s gonna be a fucking novel. I hope you like it, hahaha.
“What happened to perfect” is on now and it’s like a break up song. More Lukas Graham on shuffle. See why I think god speaks to me thru music? “Tony” woke “Bob” up which is why I let her and “Casey” out. I have to make a bottle cuz “Liam” is over due but still sleeping.
4:12 am and now “Everything that isn’t me” is on and I sent this to “Bob’s” mom on Thursday. He has no idea I’m talking to her still. He’d be mad. I don’t know why he hates her so much. I kind of love her a lot.
4:20 am (lol I screen capped proof) and I’m making coffee in my Jason Momoa mug. I made “Bob” listen to that song while he changed “Liam’s” diaper.
I tried to warm up a bottle but “Liam” got impatient so it’s not so warm. I made pizza and “Bob” took the bottle and “Liam” back in the bedroom. I am banished to the living room and couch tonight, of course.
I ate peanut butter on a spoon for protein and calories before the pizza and then used the end of the spoon to open my creamer for my coffee. Fierce. I love it, I really do. My coffee is perfectly pale and I don’t care what “Liam” says about too much creamer. It’s the best. It’s 4:26 now. This coffee tastes amazing and my pizza is gone so I want to smoke again... so I probably will.
I’m going to put Ben Rector on shuffle now and see how this goes. He performs May 1st at fountain street church and I really wish I could go. I heard that ON THE RADIO in -FV hospital-. I’m not even joking. Hi, god, what up tho?
I’m cheating and playing “i like you” cuz why not. I’ll see what shuffles after. I’m going to Walgreens around 8 am to get more coffee ($2.99 for 12 k cups) I’m getting you some. I’m also searching for something on clearance in Valentine’s Day section. I’ll go to every store in town if I have to just to find it.
“Forever like that” is on now and I can’t make this shit up. If you didn’t listen to it, it’s the other love song. Probably cuz I love you so much but I’ll be ok as just your friend, honestly, I will. It’s 4:34 am now.
When my mom and I fought Wednesday I told her how “Bob” ruined my life. I don’t want to tell you. He didn’t mean to. I want you to stay his friend so bad. He needs you more than me. I’m still working on my cig and sipping coffee. It feels glorious. Insert the old character of Bobby Roode and now I wish I had a robe like him... or in general... but I lose every robe I ever own.

I suppose theliteral answer is “Usually not too hard?” but that’s boring solets see what I can ramble about color choice and such! Also I’ll put some links to James Gurney’s stuff because he is amazing and I cannot recommend his books enough!
(This’ll be in 3 sections - Color schemes, Contrast and leading the eye, and picking colors for shadows~ from longest to shortest too)
Part 1: COLOR SCHEMES
So I used to bereally bad at this until I got really into pixel art where I learneda few important lessons. First, the entire color palette workingtogether is what’s most important, not any single color, and second,colors work together in surprising ways COMPLETELY dependent on what’s around them!
For example, this isthe color palette for the Commedore 64 from back in the day. All whopping 16 colors the system could possibly display:
Individually thosecolors look pretty muddy, muted, and dull. But when you put them alltogether in an image they actually work pretty well together, because none of them completely break from the others. Usingmy own stuff as an example, I used the C64 palette to challengemyself with remaking a very colorful, very saturated screenshot from the Nintendo 64game Mischief Makers (because I love that game and both systems have“64” in the name so why not~)
So I turned this: (Nintendo 64 version, with waaay more colors available)
Into this:
Now, there’s clearly a BIG difference in the colors used, but I feel like everything still looks fine on its own. The muddy colors look a lot more harmonious when seen in an image than individually, with the brighter colors, such as the gems, even popping quite a bit.
For that second point I mentioned about colors working differently based on the colors around them, look at the character’s green hair, the green gem, and the green on the top of the blocks. They are all the exact same color. The green gem and hair, though, are shaded with a deeper, more saturated green and contrasted with a bright white, making it appear more saturated than the exact same green on the platforms, because the platforms’ green is surrounded by duller colors.
So it’s important to keep in mind that not only is each color important in the context of the whole, but also that what’s immediately around a color will massively impact how they appear, even when they are the exact same!
Important things to consider when picking colors is how close/far they are to each other in hue (the color itself, represented by the outer wheel in the image below), the saturation (how much gray is in the color, which effects how vibrant it is, which is the left->right in the box) and value (how much black is in the color, which is the top->bottom in the box).
Essentially the further away two colors are from the each other in any of these 3 directions the more they will stand out from each other. I’m not much of a teacher for color theory in general, so the best advice I can give is just to practice and to check out limited palettes other people have made and see how they handle it. In general, though, I try to keep most of the colors relatively close to each other in saturation and warm/cool colors, and then use one accent color that stands out in small amounts to make certain bits pop~

Part 2: Contrast, and leading the eye!
Okay, so these other two might be a bit shorter. Basically, when you’re picking colors you want some to stand out and some to fall back. If everything is competing for attention it can be really hard to look at and the eye doesn’t know what’s important! One of the main things to look out for with this is contrast, as the eye is easily drawn to areas that are different than their surroundings.
Let me use two designs I’d had for my character Caelia - the left is her old color scheme and outfit and the right the new one:
Now, aside from minor differences in saturation, they’re actually pretty similar, but the one on the right I think works a lot better. In both of them the yellow acts as a strong accent color that can pull the eye, but on the old design on the left it pulls your eye in two directions - towards the headband and the coat trim, neither of which are actually important. Almost the entire rest of the design lacks that yellow so your eyes are actually drawn -away- from the character’s face and body. Imagine the coat being blown behind her as she’s doing an action pose and, yeah, the accent color doesn’t actually help anything.
The new design, I think, fixes that. Even though it remains an accent color the yellow now appears throughout the design. Her hair is now a lighter shade of yellow which is distinguished from the yellow on the clothing while also framing her face. Her torso now has a yellow accent on it so it draws the eye and, combined with the hair, has a strong distinction between her upper half (which is more yellow) and her lower half (which is mostly red). And finally what was the coat now wraps around her with an additional little strip on a waist sash. Now the yellow trim can easily allow the eye to figure out how her legs are positioned by how they wrap around them, instead of just hanging behind them.
It’s also important to point out that the hair is less saturated along with being lighter than the rest of the yellow - it both looks a bit more natural, blends with her skin color more, and also doesn’t compete with the high saturation in the clothing.
None of this is to say the left one is necessarily a bad design or conveys information poorly, just that the right one is a more unified design that is easier to understand at a glance. It’s something to keep in mind, but not a hard rule or anything. But remember that if EVERYTHING tries to stand out you’ll just end up with a mess.

Part 3: SHADOWS!
Okay, so it’s nearing 1am as I write this and I’ll be honest I have the absolute least technical knowledge on this part, so I’ll tell you how I go about it but I STRONGLY suggest reading Gurney’s information on it (Again, seriously, I love his books, and “Color and Light” in particular is amazing and contains many of these posts and more)
When it comes to shading I have a pretty quick and dirty way to figure out what to do:
in case the text isn’t legible:
Choose a color for all shadows to move towards (usually a purple or blue)
Grab the base color for the thing I’m adding shadow to
Shift the color towards the direction of the shadow color I chose, and then make it darker and more saturated
And I do the exact opposite for highlights - I move away from the shadow color and then make it lighter and less saturated
Usually, anyway. And this method works best on the kind of color wheel I have there, but it can be adapted to most anything. And how far you move towards the shadow color and how dark/saturated you make the shadows will change the mood of the piece a lot. The colors in the screenshots are for a pretty light colored, low contrast piece.
I would go on more about it but I don’t actually have solid reasoning behind it other than it tends to look alright and I don’t want to spread incorrect thinking. Just… for the love of all that is colorful, DONT just shift the color towards black or white. It looks muddy and gross. Please. I beg you~

•How tall are you?
I’m ~157cm / 5ft 2in. I’m okay with my height, but tbh I look hella short next to all of my friends that are 165cm+ ;___;
•What color and style is your hair?
I used to dye my hair a lighter burgundy (think Jaejoong during Mirotic) but it became hard to maintain that living in California. The sun is not kind to my hair ;__; So now I go a very dark purple-red. My hair just looks naturally black in most light... until I step into a place with natural sunlight and you can see the purple-red better :3 I’m pretty sure I have pics somewhere...
Style-wise... I’ve had it shoulder length before, and I liked that because it was manageable, but now I keep it long, about chest length with bangs :3
•What color are your eyes?
Brown
•Do you wear glasses?
Much like Chelle, I also have an astigmatism >_< I also didn’t used to like my glasses because I didn’t think I looked good in them ;; I’ve grown to like them tho, only wearing contacts every now and then. Which, honestly, is for the better, because I have such dry eyes that contacts do not help ;A;
•Do you wear braces?
I had braces as a kid. I wasn’t a fan of them, but I don’t have horror stories about them either.
•What’s your fashion sense?
I... really don’t now how to describe my fashion sense lol. I work in a game studio so there’s really no need to dress up, but I guess I am on the dressier side? I like skirts or skinny jeans with a nice top, all of it under my over-sized work hoodie XD
•Full name?
Ashley, though I’ve started answering to Ash too :) As a kid, letting kids refer to me as Ash was rough cuz of Pokemon >< And though I love the franchise, I did not really like the Ash Ketchum jokes >< Now that I’m older, Ash is fine.
•When were you born?
I share a birthday with SuJu’s Eunhyuk :D I’m just 6 years younger than him, so April 4, 1992.
•Where are you from and where do you live now?
I was originally from a smaller town in Washington State, then I lived on my own in Seattle for 6 years (school and work). Now I’m down in southern California in Irvine, for work :3
•What school do you go to?
I graduated 4 years ago (holy cow it’s been longer than I thought O_O)
•What kind of student are you?
Lolol I was that terrible perfectionist friend OTL Never missed classes, read the assigned reading (which most of the people didn’t in my classes ><), tried to get projects done early. But I also would procrastinate on things that I knew I didn’t need to spend a lot of time on? But I still wanted them to be done well? I was stressed as a college student. How I was a KPop stan and had a pretty good GPA coming out of college was a miracle x.x
•Do you like school?
I like learning. I like doing assignments to enhance my understanding. (Coding assignments were super, super useful! I love them even if the tests often kicked my butt) but I don’t like busy work ><
•Favorite subject?
I took a lot of programming courses cuz I majored in Computer Science. Those courses were a lot of fun, but I think weirdly my favorite class was one on Japanese Plays? That was pretty neat :0
•Favorite TV show?
Most of what I watch is anime or kdramas >< but I do love Doctor Who a lot :D
•Favorite Movie?
So I got asked this question recently and I had to think about it pretty hard. I think the film that takes the title of ‘favorite’ for me is Hero. It came out back in 2002, and it starred Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, Chen Daoming and Zhang Ziyi. It was so beautiful and now I have to go re-watch it ><
•Favorite books?
I loved the Stravaganza series way back when. I only found out like 3 years ago that there were more than the original 3 so I may have to go back and re-read them :3
•Favorite pastime?
I love to write! Most of my freetime is dedicated to that and mobile games. >< I also love to draw, which I haven’t been able to do in a while >< Maybe soon...
•Do you have any regrets?
A handful. I will only go into depth if people want to know, lol. Nothing is serious. Just lots of little life things
•Dream job?
So, back when I was about 9 or 10, I picked up Final Fantasy X. I loved the game and the art so much that all I wanted to do was be a concept artist for games. Admittedly, I don’t have the talent of a concept artist, even though I do love to draw. I do work in the game industry now but in a slightly more technical sense. ^^ There was also a time I wanted to be a writer... but honestly... none of my stuff is publishing worthy lolol
•Would you ever like to be married?
I’d like to, but I haven’t met anyone yet. Plus, given how old everyone is at this game studio, I probably won’t find anyone here ><””
