so while also working on the next chapter of the invasion,  ive been watching and listening to critical role 1 and....im SO tempted to write a vax’ildan series. so tempted its terrible.

im in love with the way Matt narrated that whole scene. that was some of the rawest and gnarliest things ive ever heard described and it was done so beautifully

the whole time i was sure Ashton was gonna die and the whole time ive been just listening to Matt, fascinated, thinking what a fucking way to go

I have 3 worries about Season 2 and 1 is slightly less serious than the other 2, but...

1) I see a significant lack of Simon on Vax's new outfit in the trailer, and we already barely saw him back in season 1 - 🥺 - please don't do my boy dirty TLOVM, he's supposed to be important to Vax.

2) Vax killed Brimscythe originally, and the cartoon even built up to Vax killing Brimscyhte, too, before giving the kill to Grog - surely they wouldn't do this again with Thordak, though? Right? Vax killing Thordak is so important to his story. They couldn't rob him of that kill too, surely? Still, I worry.

3) Hotis. Hotis was a tiny flashback with no context in season 1. In the stream, he was an important part of Vax's story. Also Vax whump. Give me the Vax whump. Let Hotis come back for Vax. It'd be funny. He needs this, I promise. Hotis pls.

I realise all of these revolve around Vax'ildan but, uh... Have you seen my blog? Everything I talk about usually ends up revolving around Vax and only Vax somehow.

Can I just say?

I would love to see a fic where Percy was the oldest De Rolo sibling. It wouldn't change much but it could be interesting. His guilt about not being able to save his family made worse by the fact he was the eldest the one all the other looked too. The relationship between him and Cass, the oldest and the youngest. Also the idea of the oldest, the role model, the heir to whitestone, being a weirdo who hides away in his workshop and doesn't come out for days at a time is fun.
