Honestly I’m insane about them (my daddy issues are showing aren’t they)

Toby has a fucked up past, we know that. A shitty father who abused him in many ways, you’d think the idea of parental relationships sicken him now

but him and masky kinda have this unspoken rule that masky is like his adoptive father and Toby is like a son to him, and that’s that.

Tim truly had no idea what it was about Toby, toby just kinda gravitated towards him.

So now tim is stuck with this bipolar, schizophrenic, serial killer adoptive son

And he couldn’t be happier.

I do honestly See them play fighting the way kids and adults do, cause idk that’s just so cute to me.

Toby’s the type of person to jokingly lecture Tim whenever he sees him smoking “ya gonna get bad lungs if you keep that up, old man.”

Yes. He calls him old man. Will I explain? No. It’s up for you to decide whether he means old man as in he’s calling tim old or if he’s calling him what people call their dads.

Sometimes they do get into arguments, for whatever reason, but afterwards Tim sits down with Toby, listens to his side of the story and just overall assures him that it won’t affect their relationship and that it’s all okay

Sigh. This man. I love him but istg. As soon as the power goes out, he’s a bit confused, and it takes him a few seconds to realise what’s happened, before he’s running around scaring the shit out of everyone in the dark. The only person safe from his taunting is Sally, because he’s secretly got a soft spot for her. If sally gets upset and then Jeff starts being lectured, he’ll sit down with her and cover her ears so the storm doesn’t affect her. He really loves the rain so he’s the first (alongside Toby) to grab a blanket and peer out of the window at the lightning. He loves the loud noises and thunder, it really gets him excited. He will deadass go out in the forest to kill some people who are stuck and lost in the storm just because he’s like that and thinks it’s funny.

In my headcanon (that I stole from an anon, love u nonnie. Mwah.) Ben uses the energy/electricity in the mansion to keep his physical form since he’s a ghost and all, so he’s freaking the fuck out. He’ll start glitching out erratically, and it’s one of the rare instances where Ben is genuinely scared. You better get the power back soon because he’s gonna start having a breakdown, not having a physical form is one of his worst nightmares and I’ll be honest, the glitching and shit probably hurts. He isn’t enjoying it whatsoever, until he realises he can technically get energy from the lightning. So he accompanies Jeff outside, literally sprinting and nearly falling to try and not lose his physical form. So yeah he’s drenched and cold, but it’s the only way he’s getting energy when the powers out. He refuses to come inside until the power is back. He has a fear of power shortage after that. 😭😭

ᴛᴏʙʏ ʀᴏɢᴇʀs/ᴛɪᴄᴄɪ ᴛᴏʙʏ

the initial strike of lightning and power cutting out probably confused and therefore scared him, so he probably got a few minutes of abrupt motor and verbal tics because he got nervous. After he’s calmed down and assessed the situation, he’s more than happy to either go outside in the rain and thunder, or just sit inside and watch happily. He likes it because it’s just cool to see thunder, ya know?? Everyone loves thunder and lightning, and the rumbling of thunder and claps of lightning just make him excited. He’ll sit with Sally and cuddle up in a blanket, hot drinks as they both watch Jeff and Ben run outside like the lunatics they are into the cold. He enjoyed storms a lot as a kid, so it was nice for him. He doesn’t really care about the power being out, since he doesn’t rely on it or spend much time on electronics like some or the others do.

I hc he has thermal vision but since he’s a demon and works for slender, all of his senses are heightened. He notices changes in energy and the smallest drop or movement in Temperature and atmosphere, so he’s the first to not only notice it, but also predict it. He heard and felt the storm before it even started, he immediately knew the power went out because the heat and electricity dropped tremendously to the point where the sudden change made him dizzy. He needs to know when those things happen and prepare himself because he’s so sensitive to those changes and they can seriously disorientate him. He knew about the storm, but didn’t realise the power would cut out until a few seconds before it happened. Once he’s calmed down and adjusted, he checks to make sure everything and everyone else is okay, before he sits in the living room in the dark with everyone else. Everyone else is colder now so his thermal vision is a bit muddled up and he’s gotta isolate himself for a minute and close his eyes to adjust to it. He doesn’t mind the lightning but hes super sensitive to noise Aswell, so he stays in the medical bay so the loud claps of lightning and thunder don’t hurt his ears.

He’s a carefree guy, so he prolly doesn’t really care all that much. Might be a bit sad that the tv turned off and that he can’t see anything, but that’s about as bothered as he is. Like Toby, he lets Sally sit with him to watch the rain and storm. This dude is literally so good with kids, someone else wrote this, but he’s like a cool uncle. He’s so calm that he’s just naturally good with animals and younger kids, Aswell as the fact he just naturally knows how to deal with sudden change. He’s the best person to calm Sally down and will go to the kitchen to make hot chocolate with her and get her a blanket and teddy to sit with. He’s honestly not too bothered about the storm, he’s perfectly used to loud noises, he’ll go outside if he needs to, but he’s perfectly content to stay inside and watch, just waiting for things to go back to normal.

Istg this grumpy old man. Honestly. He’s just a bit pissed that he can’t watch his show, and that he can’t see shit. The only reason he’s going outside is to make sure that Jeff and Ben don’t die, and if Toby joins them, that none of them get struck by lightning and also to have a ciggy. Might just stand out on the porch with Brian, fag in one hand (the cigarette, not Brian.) yelling at his children friends to be careful and not get hurt. He doesn’t wanna go out in the rain cause he just doesn’t like the cold or getting wet, moody old man much, huh. honestly he pretends to be annoyed, but he likes to see the others be nice to eachother and specifically Sally, because despite the fact they all hate eachother sometimes, they’re perfectly capable of being there for eachother when it’s needed. Doesn’t mean he won’t yell at Jeff for pushing Ben into the mud, though.

He’s a completely manipulative, stupid asshole. And I mean it. When I say he literally doesn’t give a shit, I’m deadass. This guys life was fucked up since he was young, he went insane at 13. He’s lost all of his sanity, care or hope for anyone or anything. The only love he’s capable of is downright toxic obsession with himself and his appearance. He’s “friends” with Ben, but only cause they smoke weed and do drugs together, occasionally going on killing or torturing sprees. I headcanon that he experiences really bad psychosis after his killing sprees, so often times he will sit in his bedroom, curled into a ball, experiencing severe audio-visual hallucinations. These can range from the screams of his victims to the screams of his family members, his bullies voices, the crackling fire. For his backstory, I hc that he DID kill his bullies when he went insane.

When he was set on fire and had bleach poured over him, it was a bonfire. He got tied to the ground and got bleached poured over him, being kicked and beaten into the dirt. Dry sticks and thorns were thrown onto him, and they set fire to them. They laughed and left, not bothering to watch him die. He was screaming the entire time. The fire burned the ropes tying him to ground, and while he was on fire, he managed to painstakingly scramble his way out and put out the flames. He’s now got a lot of internalised anger, and he takes it out on his victims. He’ll torture them for hours in ways that I don’t even want to write down. He’s seriously a sick and twisted motherfucker. Downright insane. He will insult anyone and everyone. He’s just genuinely a horrible person, and a pain to be around. He gets phantom feelings of the fire, and occasionally self harms to distract himself from it. It’s usually by cutting his hands or wrists with his own bloody, dirty knife.

Oh this poor little girl. Unfortunately, she’s no longer innocent at all. After what happened to her, she’s almost expressionless. She’s seen and experienced one of the worst things, and lives in a mansion full of crazed and sadistic freaks and serial killers. She’s not hopeful or optimistic at all, infact she’s almost fully mute because of her trauma. She doesn’t kill people, infact she rarely does anything. She mostly sits in her room, staring deadpanned at her dolls or at the floor, a sad, empty, glazed over look in her eyes. Occasionally, she will have fits of anger, where she hits, screams, and throws things at anyone who tries to touch her or come near her. She will never recover. She rarely socialises or sees any of the other creeps or residents of the mansion, sometimes maybe ej. Maybe Jane. They are the only calm people here who won’t set her off.

She hates being touched- and, if you do touch her, you’ll send her into a panic/PTSD attack that’ll take hours to calm down from. She hates everyone, or mostly everyone, and I’ll be honest- all the little kiddo wants to do is be at peace, she despises being a ghost. She wishes she could die again, just to rest. She’s genuinely devoid of all hope for the world. Her body aches constantly despite being so young, and the blood never stops dripping from her head. Sometimes, she hangs her head against the walls. She sees it as a constant reminder of what happened to her. She doesn’t ever eat, never plays, never smiles. She’s truly only the shell of the happy little girl she used to be.

The reason they get along so well is because they balance eachother out. Jeff talks, ej listens. It’s perfect when either of them either want to rant or need some drama in their lives.

Jeff has tons of funny stories to tell and ej has all the time in the world to listen, so…

Jeff doesn’t care much for science but as stated previously, he likes the gorey bits. So he’ll listen to whatever medical big brain shit ej has to say because he just you know.. wants go see the organs. Weirdo.

I Imagine Jeff having a massive ego but also being pretty smart and quick to absorb knowledge (unlike Ben, who has anything remotely educational go in through one ear and out the other) so as soon as ej tells him about any sciency stuff he goes to yell at everyone else where his pancreas is and how he’s smarter than all of them now

(Jeff mixed up the pancreas and the liver but ej didn’t have the heart to correct him)

As much as Jeff seems like an egotistical prick who can’t sit still, ej got him into reading.

Sure it’s all horror books and comic books about graphic stuff and murder and whatever, but atleast he’s reading, right??

And you know how ej rubbed off on Jeff and started making him a BITTTT smarter? Jeff has done the same for ej, except he’s loosened him up a bit.

Ej can be seen around the mansion a lot more instead of just staying inside the medical bay.

honestly I think Sally loves to bake. She doesn’t care who with, it can be Jeff, ej, anyone.

But in this scenario specifically, you’re the chosen one! Yay!

you’re gonna have to run around the kitchen for the entirety of the time whatever concoction she has made is cooking because 1. She’s not patient, like most children, and wants to play games

And 2. She’s covered in flour and sugar, and is gonna need a bath. And she hates bathes. (If you are old enough to be responsible for her hygiene jane will yell at you because now she has to get the egg and flour out of Sally’s hair.)

She loves decorating. Pink icing and edible bows and decorations galore!! She also loves that edible glitter. She doesn’t get to use the sprinkles because she ate them all while waiting for the food to finish, staring at the oven deadpanned while shoving handfuls of sprinkles in her mouth.

After it’s all done, she walks around everyone’s rooms and gives them a cupcake: whether they like it or not. They will be getting a cupcake and she will sit them down and make them eat it. And they will enjoy it. Or she might hit them with the rolling pin or she’ll cry to either ej, slender or Jane. 😭😭

In my headcanons, Toby’s one of the more quiet and empathetic creeps (although he completely switches up when he has an episode

And clockwork is headstrong, smart, brave, all that jazz.

They’re so siblings coded I can’t

(btw I’m not fetishing or infantilising Toby at all, he is in no way a soft uwu boy that fanon makes him out to be, he’s still a cold hearted serial killer, I just like to add different things to his character :>)

The way that they’re very different makes them perfect friends, they really balance eachother out- while they’re nice to eachother most of the time I think they behave like siblings do

Don’t even try and tell me that clockwork doesn’t do that thing where you go eye level with the glasses or juice to see which one has less so you can give it to your sibling.

Or just sharing silence with a mutual understanding that they are and always will be there for eachother when they need it

I think the relationship between them helps but also slightly hurts Toby, because clockwork reminds him so much of Lyra.

The relationship is similar and (atleast within my headcanons) they look similar.

That’s the only thing that clockwork DOESN’T know about Toby. That he occasionally mistakes her for Lyra, thinking that after all these years, his sister is back and that her death was just a cruel joke.
