And here are a couple of rules to set things straight:

Please keep all questions related to Cookie Run: Kingdom, preferably to Secret of the Sugar Flare.

No "dares" or "asks disguised as dares".

You can ask me about doing a cameo of your own CR:K OC, but if their sprites are not on the comic creator, don't get your hopes up. (And every OC gets only one cameo per owner, so use it wisely!)

No asking me through my DMs, especially when the askbox is closed. That will result in a warning the first time, a block the second time.

This goes without saying, but no inappropriate questions.

Any gaslighting or gatekeeping will result in an immediate block.

Try to limit your asks to one or two a week. If you try to get in multiple questions hiding behind anon asks, I will remove anon asks so that only users can send asks. Failure to comply then will result in blocking. (This sounds harsh, but it's to prevent buildup and gives everyone a chance to get their asks in)

No "hug questions." They're a bit of a personal peeve and it'd look weird on the comic creator anyway, so I'd probably not do a very good job of them if I tried. (Sorry ^^;)

Some more sketches from the past week or so

I’ve been back at home this week (and will be for the next month or so) and because of that I haven’t really been drawing much

Uh, let’s see, we got a sketch of Strawberry Jam Cookie

Then I also drew a tiny Dark Cacao Cookie, basically freshly baked. I like to think Dark Cacao at least was Witch baked, so this would have been as young as he’d ever be. He found a sword in the oven and basically fled for his life, but the whole experience was traumatic for him. He basically kept running until he found himself at the Giant Icing Ridge. He kept going into the wastelands until he was found either by the young North and South Dragons, or he found their parent, whom I’m going to call the Cookie Crème Dragon, and he was taken in by them, with him believing himself to be one of them.

I realize this backstory makes him not related to dragons other than being adopted, which I’m not too sure I’m fond of, but whatever

As for his experience in the Oven, he only remembers it as a recurring dream, one he’s not sure where it comes from

Then I tried to come up with some concepts for Choco Crème and Milk Crème’s Cookie forms. Not sure if I’m sold on these final designs, but I based them off of these White Sage and Black Sage I found on the Wiki

However the shapes and colors didn’t match their respective dragons, so I changed that. Do you think it looks good?

I also tried out other colors, like one that made them look more similar to Dark Cacao, giving them the same skin tone. Though looking at the dragons we have in this series, I’m not sure that would be how they look? Well they seem to operate differently from the Tropical Dragons, so whatever

But also they don’t have legs

Then on a completely unrelated note, I was trying to come up with something for young Golden Cheese. My two options are either A: she had tiny wings and could barely fly (think like Scootaloo), or B: Golden Cheese is actually a Cheesebird who somehow became a Cookie. Or she’s able to transform into a Cheesebird. Personally I think I prefer the Cheesebird angle, considering that according to what I can find on the Wiki, Golden Cheese acts similar to the Cheesebirds, and also it might explain her wings. Also it would be funny if the origins of one of the Ancients is just one of the group going “hey check out this cool bird I found let’s keep it”

Then I just drew a sketch of tiny Cacao with his siblings. Basically my idea now is that when they met, the two were basically hatchlings, so they were pretty small. Over time they got bigger pretty quick, and they’ve just kept on growing in the millennia since. I’m thinking the Cookie Crème Dragon’s body is what actually made the Icing Ridges when it laid to rest, so basically those two are eventually gonna grow to a gargantuan size

Anyways yeah, hope you like, I plan to try and draw better art later

i present to you the Weird Family, featuring crunchy chip, his cousin from the republic, crème choco, and his two adoptive siblings, royal icing and snickerdoodle

we've also got some caramel arrow, carraisin, affogeezer, some obligatory canon-adhering golden cheese, and even a costume for royal icing (if they were recognized for their noble lineage in the republic)

i forcibly taught myself how to draw carrow and crunchy chip just today and black raisin a few days ago so Win! i win at Cookie!

Presentation: The fact that this even looks sandwich adjacent is a fucking miracle. You don’t get full points though. Because I don’t like you. 3/5

Would Chunk Eat It?: He would eat maybe 1/50th of it. So no. 1/5

1: it’s canon that he loves chocolate ice cream, I can definitely see him loving cookies & crème.

2: it’s baseball & wrestling (he does like bowling & playing soccer with his brothers, Chris, Kon, & Osul later)

3: pepperoni is his go to topping; maybe extra cheese too. (For a crazy topping, he can do pizza rolls 😉)

4: hmmmm, for confession, it was after the battle with Manchester Black (the difference is her grandpa lived & ONLY him “betrayed” the family, Kathy was on Jon’s side the whole time) they both were sitting on the tree branch & both did a lip kiss.

Their first date was a trip to the movies, How to train your dragon: the hidden world, & then spend the night at the county fair.

5: cliche but I can see him loving summer; ice cream trucks & no school XD

6: hmmmm Kathy is his favorite flower XD most likely Sunflowers due to living on a farm & the word sun is part of him.

8: I say either red & blue, (it becomes bright orange for his anime transformation I gave him) & he dyes it fully or just the front.

9: I say a S symbol on his left arm, his gf’s name on his right arm.

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #141

I think today, I might have created one of my best tea concoctions yet!!

Okay, so I started with these ones; I put one bag of each of these into my mug, and brewed it:

(Yes, once again, I do have weird mismatching socks on. I wonder if your socks are colorful like mine under your boots; maybe you can give it a try and see how it feels!)

Please say hello to Momma, our resident lady-in-a-tuxedo; she's VERY cute!

From there, I added sugar instead of honey this time, and a bit of heavy cream. The swirls today were absolutely mesmerizing:

And, once the swirls were all settled down, the physics involved with density and fluid dynamics caused my tea to settle itself into 5 layers - the undissolved sugar on the bottom, a layer of tea that is very saturated with dissolved sugar, followed by cold layer of tea mixed with cream, a warmer layer of tea mixed with cream, and finally just a thin layer of pure cream:

Isn't it marvelous!!! And when I mixed it all up, the result tasted EXACTLY like a kind of Girl Scout cookie called Samoas! I know you don't know what those are, because there aren't any Girl Scouts on your planet, but trust me, they're REALLY GOOD, oh my goodness!!

…Samoas were my mother's favorite kind of Girl Scout cookie, last I knew. I wish I could share this tea with her, too.

In any case, I went to physical therapy with M, because afterwards, we had made plans to get lunch! We finally went back to the place with those fried green tomatoes that I didn't take a picture of because I ate them too quickly (sorry about that!). This time, I remembered to take a picture for you BEFORE my appetite got the better of me:

Today, I got the seafood pasta. I know that you like pasta pescatore, and this isn't exactly the same, but… it's got shrimp and clams and linguine and pesto sauce and parmesan cheese on it, and… I think maybe you would love it, so I took a picture because I can't… I can't share it with you…

I also got their crème brûlée; their flavor changes every week. Last time, it was berries, remember? Well, this time, it was dark chocolate and coconut - just like my tea this morning!! And this, too, tasted just like a one of those Samoas!! It was SO GOOD!!

…I wish you were here…

On our way home, I managed to snap some really nice photos of the trees and the sky; I hope you'll like these:

After we got inside, I went ahead and put the rods in the kites that arrived yesterday. I'm hoping for a windy day tomorrow so I can test them out!! But I'm not going to take pictures of them just yet; like I said, I have PLANS for that eagle kite, and I don't want to show it to you until those plans come to fruition. I know what I have to do, and I found the perfect image for it; it's just a matter of getting it done. I think you're gonna love it when you see it. Or at least, I hope you will…

Today, J and I tried to go to Eggcellent with the lovely leader of the place we like to go to once a week! Unfortunately, Eggcellent was closed due to plumbing issues, I guess. So we went to a different place! And!! Oh!! Sephiroth!!! They had MACARONS!!!

Look at them all!!! 🤩🤤 But in particular, these three caught my eye:

...I know you like vanilla and roses, and I thought these might have a similar flavor profile, so I got them!! And I also got a cherry blossom matcha tea! More than anything, I wished I could share these with you, because I think you would have loved them:

Well anyway, J and the leader from the place and I sat and talked for a couple of hours, and it was wonderful!! The best part was when the leader showed us the beautiful pictures from his sister's recent wedding; she and her friends and her husband looked so vibrant and happy and beautiful!! He's going to go through all of the pictures and select the ones he likes best so he can show them to us later! I can't wait!!

I also snagged some pictures of the evening sky in the outdoor spot where we enjoyed our tea and macarons; maybe you'll like these...

...I wish that I could give just a little bit of joy to you. I hope that anything I show you and tell you about can give you even a small reason to smile, or cause you to feel just a little warm inside your mind. Not even you, with your incredible power and all the amazing things you've seen up until this point, can imagine what I'd be willing to give if it meant I could have the power to gift these things to you. If I had the chance to trade your life for mine, so that you could be here, enjoying all these things in my place... I'd be happy and proud to take that chance without even a moment's hesitation. Even if I disappeared as a result... I wouldn't mind - not even a little. Not if it meant you could be happy and safe.

Thinking about clothes, and how different kinds of cookies treat them, so here's a lore drop!!!

In order of how strict they are on clothing from "You'll probably see a few cookies without clothing while you're there" to "You will be arrested for showing an ankle" its like

Golden Cheese Kingdom

Cheesebirds raised her and they didn't bother with clothes, why should his kingdom have to? GC only has her clothes cus shiny and fancy!!!

Dark Cacao Kingdom

Cacaoians have a culture of communal bathing, so naked and half naked cookies(Especially kids and family) are kinda normal. Especially when there's a hotspring near a town.

Dragon’s Valley

They don't mind going nude as long as it has a reason, but do put some pressure on looking cool at all times. Usual reasons being that they don't want to mess up their clothes while doing certain things like hunting.

Unity

At least have your crotch covered, and cover your chest if someone around you requests, that's it really. (Many cookies keep shirts or shawls or similar on them just in case!)

Darklands/DE's kinda kingdom

DE doesn't mind about clothes, but everyone just kinda defaults to robes/mostly covering clothes and that quietly makes her feel more comfortable cus she was raised with PV, and both lived in the old Flower Kingdom which kinda said "dresses for all, no shoes tho"

Pure Vanilla Kingdom (pre-ruin)

Was kinda just Flower Kingdom 2.0, but they didn't legally reinforce it, the culture just carried over, and everyone kept PV as an example of how cookies should dress.

Beast Yeast

Yeah, better at least get your torso covered–leaving open spots around your wings is fine–and most of your limbs(last bit is more of suggestion)

Hollyberry Kingdom

Like Beast Yeast, but a little more strict, being most or all of your legs get covered(Does not apply to the dragons(Pitaya and Snaps) they're royalty technically, they can do what they want)

Crème Republic

Pants for amab, pants and shirt for afab at the very least or you'll get fucking thrown in jail. Unless you're Caviar, he can go tits out cus both him and his wife are Elders.

As you login to a work computer at Site-φ’s main base, you notice a new notification in your SCiPNET inbox. As the computer renders the splash image at a snail's pace, you squint at the title. The Phi-thon? It turns out to be a monthly newsletter... but what catches your eye is the announcement of a new member for THE BROKEN SCALES OF THEMIS.

𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒖

The monthly menu for March, as curated by CHEF DE CUISINE Fulgence Carême, will be available for a limited time alongside the regular menu with meat, fish, vegetarian, as well as vegan options for our staff.

BREAKFAST (6AM - 10:30 AM)

Sausage Royale Croissant Roll with cheddar cheese, beef sausage patty, two strips bacon, fried egg. Garnished with dill and parsley. With spiced ketchup to taste.

Salmon Belly Royale Croissant Roll with wild salmon, crème fraîche, spinach and collard green hollandaise, topped with ikura-style salmon roe and salmon skin cracklings.

Mushroom Royale Croissant Roll (V) with grilled portobello, cremini, and king oyster mushrooms, crispy shallots, onion jam, and a herby rosemary sauce.

LUNCH (12 PM - 5 PM)

Cheese & Leek Croquettes with yukon gold potatoes, confit pearl onions, and black garlic chips.

Soft-shell Crab Tempura Burger with deep-fried whole soft-shell crab, pickled cabbage, sorrel, arugula, iceberg lettuce, ponzu vinaigrette or parmesan mayo. Comes with old bay fries.

Heirloom Tomato Preserve Flatbread (V) with arkansas traveler, aunt ruby's german green, hillbilly, and purple calabash varieties. Comes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip.

DINNER (5 PM - CLOSE)

Slow-roasted Pistachio Lamb with mint and pistachio crusted lamb leg, roasted cauliflower and new potatoes, horseradish cream, and truffle-infused gravy.

Pan-seared Yuzu Scallops with hazelnuts, clementine slices, and yuzu beurre blanc sauce. Comes with a light slaw salad.

Crispy Hen-of-the-Woods Mushroom Platter (V) with a medley of grilled wild mushrooms, artichokes, asparagus, and quinoa-wild rice pilaf. Garnished with walnuts and vegan pesto.

DESSERT Fresh seasonal berries with Chai-spiced Clotted Cream with strawberries, blueberries, currants, blackberries, and gooseberries. Chai spice contains clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and ginger.

Coffee Caramel Frozen Brazo de Mercedes with blended coffee ice cream, peanuts, cashews, and warm caramel sauce.

Vegan Raspberry Coconut Mousse Parfait (V) with silken tofu, agave syrup, raspberries, and layered with vegan dark chocolate cookie crumble, and topped with roasted coconut shavings.
