So I'm sure someone's probably already pointed this out but..
Orym dropped the sending stone didn't he? And I don't recall anyone picking it up. Or mentioning it again before they ran.
So did they lose their way to contact Dorian?

Shit okay I had a thought and I just had to write it out
Imagine Laudna survives the battle, she collects herself and stands wearily. Through bleary eyes she takes in the scene around her. The first thing she sees is Orym and Fearne on the ground. She rushes to them knowing full well she can’t do anything but make sure they’re alright. When she gets to them, Laudna falls to her knees and feels for a pulse, a breath, anything. Finding nothing, feeling the warmth fade from her friends bodies, she screams for FCG. She knew better than anyone that death was not the end, there was another way. What that was, however, was escaping her as dark thoughts flood her mind. But the healer had to know. The healer is the only one that could save them.
A thought comes to her mind. That’s not how she survived. Delilah Briarwood was far from a healer. But she still got the job done. Reaching deep into her mind, Laudna tugged on the string that the Lady Briarwood had tied to her essence. With an exhale, she whispers shakily.
“D, please. Give me the power to bring them back.”
A light laugh echoed in Laudnas ear
“Child I have no use for them, and neither do you.”
“This has nothing to do with me and you,” Laudna glanced around and grabbed a shard of glass on the ground from an exploded window. She held the shard to her neck and raised her voice “Give me the power or else this lifeline of yours will be no more.”
Delilah hid her soft terror behind an audible smirk “You wouldnt-“
“Try me” Laudna growled
There was a pause, it lasted an eternity as Laudna held the glass shard closer to her neck. Doubt began to cross her mind but it was washed away as she looked into Fearne and Oryms blank eyes. With this, Laudna pushed into her skin. Before she could draw blood, Laudna felt a warmth grow in her hands. An unknown force dropped the glass shard to the ground as Laudna is lifted in the air. No longer in control of her body, Laudna watched as her hands spread over the bodies of her friends. A faint purple glow began to emit from her fingertips as dark shadow circles her, Fearne and Orym. The purple magic shot from her hands and lifted Fearne and Orym to her height. Laudna could feel power, endless, unadulterated power fill her body. With this, Delilah’s voice split through her mind like a migraine.
“You owe me your loyalty and service after this, child. Favors do not come lightly.”
Black shadow folds over Orym and Fearne’s limp bodies in the air. A few moments pass like this, Laudna is paralyzed in the air watching Delilah take over. Suddenly, she begins to feel herself float back down to the earth, Fearne and Orym follow suit. The moment her feet meet the dirt ground, Laudna collapses. Her entire body is shaking violently as she attempts to catch her breath. Before she could pass out, movement in front of her caught her attention. A small cough, a soft gasp, shifting in pain.
They were alive, they were alive.
But what did it cost?

I fully admit I don’t know the rules of reviving peole, but dosn’t FCG only have 1 diamond? Does this mean they have to chose who lives again, and who stays gone forever.....

I’m devastated, really. We lost our Queen yesterday. We had someone die, someone who has lived for DECADES. This is basically a century of life, gone in an instant.
We didn’t deserve her. Decades of service, and she brought so much to US, the people. She was powerful, but she knew when to wield it. She could make us laugh. She could also make us cry— and I never knew I’d feel like this when she was gone, but here we are, I’m crying my heart out. Inconsolable.
We mustn’t forget that she was also caring. She was A MOTHER. And she had family, and as complicated as family can be, (I think we’ve seen how complicated her family is!), she still loved them and they loved her, and we should consider their pain as we also grieve. But her family was not just blood, it was also people she met on her journey. A found family, and we are among them in mourning.
Some people are saying that we should embrace change. That we don’t know what will happen in the coming weeks and we may feel differently soon. I say ignore them. Let us mourn. Let us process our feelings. And pay some DAMN RESPECT. I don’t want to see any memes. People are hurting. I am hurting. Don’t talk to me.
🖤RIP Fearne Calloway🖤 Gone but never forgotten.

What is wrong with you angsty lil sheeple.
If Orym were revivified and had a second chance at life he would so take it. Of course in the moment he would be glad he be reunited with Will and Derrig. He failed. He was given a task to find the assassin who hurt their people and killed Will. But he failed his husband and himself. He’s glad he’ll see them because he thinks it all over, that there’s no going back. But given the choice, why wouldn’t he go back?
Isn’t that why he went on his journey in ExU in the first place? To see the world for him? Would Will want him to throw away everything Orym has built after him?
There are still people he’s holding on to, who love him and are counting in him. The Ashari, Keyleth, his mother, the Bells, the Crown Keepers, DORIAN. He and Fearne promised they’d see each other again. The last thing Dorian said to him was “Don’t die.” Like hell he’s gonna break his word.
I know Liam has a capacity for sadboi angst, and I’m not fully ruling out perma-death because I do believe there is much to explore down that road. But he’s shown us that Orym has so much more—is so much more than his grief.

Ive seen a few people question whether victory was even an option for the Hells during the Otohan fight, and i firmly believe Matt when he said in a tweet that there were multiple paths to win. I was of that belief even before he tweeted that.
The most obvious would have been to not beef it on initiative, because Ashton getting a rage in would have been an entire game changer. He wouldnt have been downed in the first round, and the group would have much more hp and damage output to play with. Their initiative fucked the action economy.
But beyond that, i think that dropping the barbarian in one round of attacks made the Hells falsly believe that Otohan was more threatening than she actually was. Dont get me wrong, she wasnt easy by any means, but she sounded like a glass cannon to me because even with mainly only pot-shots and op attack damage levied against her, Matt was describing her as looking rough by the end of the episode. I think if the Hells had focused their actions on attacking instead of running, they would have been able to either force her to flee, or potentially even downed her. Im not saying there wouldn’t have been anyone else downed, or even dead, but i firmly believe they would have been able to pull it off. Her movement was so insane anyways that fleeing quickly made itself to be an unviable option.
So while the fight was never meant to be easy, it definitely wasnt meant to be unwinnable. And even if Matt had miscalculated the action economy or the damage output of the fight to be mega unfair, any DM worth their salt can tweak those things mid combat in a seamless way.
In conclusion, stop being mean to Matt, sometimes the dice dont roll how you want, but thats why we play dnd instead of script writing a series of pre-determined events.

Theories for E34 but they get more unhinged:
— Fearne and Orym are successfully resurrected
— One or both of the characters die
— Laudna dies and they also have to try and resurrect her
— it was all a dream and nothing actually happened
— Otohan keeps killing the other characters and more of the party is killed off.
— the stress of the encounter and/or failing to save someone causes FCG to go into murderbot mode and FCG kills someone.
— Delilah fully takes over Laudna’s body and becomes a villain.
— Imogen going super saiyan instantly kills Otohan
— Imogen going super saiyan has teleported hee entire party to the moon
— Imogen going super saiyan corrupts her and the surviving party members have to try and save her or take her down in the future arc.
— Imogen going super Saiyan kills all her party members. She is now evil and the arc villain of te new party. This is now campaign 3.5.
— Imogen going super saiyan is actually time travel, and they’ve gone back to the calamity.
— Imogen going super saiyan causes a Groundhog Day loop with Otohan and they have to try and destroy her
— Orym dies but is ruessureected by the power of unknown god magic themself as Orym is ‘little moon’— Ruidus’s mortal form
— Imogen becomes the big bad and the party assembles a party of great heroes to help them, so basically the cast simultaneously plays three characters or more. YES EVEN VAX.
