The maths fandom is wild. “Real” and “imaginary” numbers? I think you mean canon and non-canon. You guys seriously go “this is my number oc his name is i and he is the square root of -1” when in numbers canon lore it’s actually impossible to square root a negative but sure whatever. “Complex numbers”? I think you mean a character x oc ship. “f(x) = 3x - 5”? That is self-insert fanfiction.

people who are weird about artists sharing their own OCs make no sense to me. if you support an artist and you don’t bother getting into their own original art with their own world building and characters you’re missing out! it’s so fun to see artists i follow going down paths with their own OCs and creating a world with their own lore, side OCs and everything i find it fascinating

One of the things that i like the most about dungeon meshi, is how, through the adventurer's bible, we get a deep dive of some extremely marginal characters. We get extra sketches of them in litteral aus. We get extra interaction between characters. And at the end of it all i look at this incredibly masterful piece of art and literature and i feel a sense of connection with the author. Usually like most mainstream media, i feel this wall between me and the author. I get the finished piece, i don't get to see anything else, no windo in the author's inner world beyond the very polished end result.
With Ryoko Kui i feel a sense of kinship. I feel like I'm back in the back yard scribbling on a sketchbook, with my friends, as we each ramble about our ocs and our stories. And i look at her and i smile and ask "tell me more."

I’m obsessed and fairly crazy about the idea of Floyd, after leaving his brothers, becoming close with big folk. (I mean how else was he captured?)
I also just love how the mount rageons look, so meet Murphey! He was a body guard while living on Mount Rageous but left after messing up on a job. He began traveling and came across a young solo artist who got himself into a heap of trouble by just being a lil troll. Reluctantly they teamed up and Murphey once more found himself protecting someone, only this time his insecurities about screwing it all up again linger in the back of his mind…
