I suppose it counts since a microcontroller is technically a computer but I think I’ll just forever have a soft spot for the adafruit circuit playground because it was my first time truly messing with interactive code. Favorite bit to work with was the accelerometer yaaaay accelerometer we salute this legendary animal

#also fun fact about accelerometers I learned in that class #originally accelerometers were expensive pieces to integrate in circutboards until the creation of the wii #they were used in wiimotes(what’s used for motion tracking) and with the mass production of wiimotes #that in turn meant the mass production of accelerometer bits which then made that piece much less expensive to integrate

Mr. House meets Jack

Mr. House was not expecting a jumpy, uncoordinated young adult to stumble his way into the Lucky 38, but Victor has nothing but good things to say about the kid so he can't be bad. Jack follows order well, which is both a blessing and a curse Mr. House finds out, so he works out a way to get Victor to keep reminding Jack of what he needs to do and it's smooth sailing from there. Would consider working out a deal with the Followers of the Apocalypse to see what is up with Jack after the Hoover Dam battle.

Mr. House meets Chell

Mr. House gets along with Chell quite well. Chell is efficient and creative with completing missions. And she's willing to be paid in only information which cuts down on costs by a lot. He does find that gun of hers rather intriguing, which would turn into a whole cat and mouse of him trying to get the portal gun from her to examine and her not giving him the gun. Chaos ensues.

Cave Johnson meets the Courier

Cave Johnson wouldn't realize that the various people he keeps testing are all the same Courier. But hey, when you're dealing with an anomaly that keeps reincarnating lets you vivisect them, you tend not to ask too many questions (except for why do you keep coming back after you fall into the corrosive water). Certainly keeps the Courier around later on, hoping to figure what keeps them regenerating their body while keeping their memories intact (in his quest to live forever). Sadly, he doesn't figure it out in time. The Courier would then explore the Aperture labs until who knows when. Although thanks to the fact that they can sorta never die (sure their body dies but their memories dont think kinda like a timelord) then they would remember exactly who Caroline was when interacting with GLaDOS. Oh and the angst of finding all the old lab stuff and Cave Johnson's voice logs again at the Portal 2 timeline point of the game that would actually be heartbreaking.

Cave Johnson meets Jack

Cave Johnson loves Jack. Everyone loves Jack! Who wouldn't love Jack? Cave Johnson would be sure to let everyone know that no one gives Jack orders except for him and Caroline. Would treat Jack like the son he never had and also give him cocaine for his anxiety (for science). Would also want to vivisect Jack to figure out how he keeps lighting things like the mantis men on fire. Wasn't seriously considering making combustible lemons until he saw Jack could light things on fire and decided that the same principles could be applied to lemons too.

Andrew Ryan meets the Courier

Andrew Ryan actually gets to interact with only one Courier thanks to the Vita-Chambers. And as luck would have it, he gets to interact with Suzie Fromme (my favorite courier and the one I always think of when I think of couriers). And he would think Suzie is weird and unhinged and way too powerful but not in a cool way but in a way that scares him (you modded a Bethesda protag of course she breaks reality). But since she's an agent of chaos that only wants to help people he would strike a tentative deal with her to take Atlas down. She would agree for the low price of "a room in the prettiest building in Rapture" which according to her is in Fort Frolic(?) which with all the delirious denizens dropping like drones means that there probably is an open room. Did I mention Suzie has the Black Widow perk? Upon finding out how she got rid of Atlas, Andrew Ryan decides that she is not to be trifled with at all and can be Sander Cohen's problem until the city collapses.

Andrew Ryan meets Chell

Andrew Ryan would probably love and hate Chell. Love because she dispatches enemies with efficiency and doesn't listen to Atlas but also doesn't listen to him. Eventually determines that she just wants to go to the surface and leave forever and after doing a couple of missions for him, lets her. Doesn't like that she's playing all sides trying to find the fastest way to leave, but she just wants to always come put on top. Which she does. Would weaponize her bond with Tenenbaum in a last ditch attempt to get her to do what he wants.

Ninjago Fanfic: Where Have You Gone?

So, I wrote a thing... after Season 9 Zane finds... something

Zane strode the top of Borg tower in relief. They were back in Ninjago again, Garmadon had been defeated, and all the SOG had been imprisoned. Actually, he did not know that for sure. There was one gang member in particular he hadn’t seen since he and his brothers had left Ninjago. Zane had asked the police if they had found him yet, they told him they didn’t think so, but they had made so many arrests, it was hard to know. They promised they'd be in touch with official records soon. Meanwhile, Zane decided to assist the cleanup effort. Not many people were up on the roof of Borg tower at the moment, only a few volunteers on the opposite side, rounding up trash. Most of the mess the SOG had created while using this place as their throne room had been removed, but it was far from perfect.

Zane set to work, grabbing a sheet of metal off the ground and sending it into the nearly empty green bin with a resounding clank. He grabbed another one and smiled. Repetitive tasks like these always calmed him. He nearly grabbed a shank of dark metal that looked like a hand until he jerked back in horror. It was a hand. And an arm. An entire, life-size, black, robotic arm. Zane glanced around and wondered, half-jokingly, if there were any other robot arms laying around.

There were. He saw it suddenly. A second hand, barely attached to its arm, was laying not 10 feet from it’s twin. The more he looked, the more everything looked more like robotic parts. Gears, wires, fans, shoulder plates, most of the same black color, but all, unmistakably, nindroid. Zane looked frantically now, flipping over metal scraps to find more parts, not daring to touch them. Feet, ball and socket joints, switches, circutboards, legs, torn jacket bits, a torso; Zane knew who it was. He flipped the last metal scrap. A black biker's helmet and a cracked red visor.

Mr. E.

Zane stared at his former nemesis in horror. His fans kicked into high gear, making him feel dizzy. The helmet was like it always had been, but no more did red eyes gleam inside. His head had been carelessly ripped off his neck and wires protruded from every conceivable exit. Zane thought he might be sick. He dropped to his knees, lightheaded and breathing fast. He sat with his eyes closed for several minutes; he strangely felt like he was the one who’d been dismantled. When did this happen? Who had been powerful enough to fight him and win? Lloyd? No… his power hadn’t returned until recently; Zane knew no one on his side had done this. He was simply fooling himself. He wanted to believe that it had been an accident, that Mr. E had just fallen apart after a great fall, but he had seen the wires spilling out of his arms, torso and neck. They had burst apart completely. Someone had deliberately torn Mr. E apart. Zane wondered why he felt so crushed. This was the ruthless gang member who had beat and battered him, furious but silently, till the point of system failure. Maybe it was that Zane felt a strange connection to him: he too was a single nindroid in a group of humans. He kept his eyes closed, thinking about all the ways Mr. E was so similar to himself, but his eyes snapped open at the thought of a single question: Is his CPU intact?

Zane looked at the helmet, cracked and dented. He had obviously fallen from a height, but, what if the helmet had been enough to protect it? He didn’t want to do it. He didn’t want to feel the shock and depressive weight again when he found the CPU damaged. But the hope wriggling inside him would not diminish.

Zane bent forward, and gingerly touched the helmet. Moving his hands to the base, he tenderly inched the helmet off. After little encouragement, it promptly slid off, revealing the boyish face and dead eyes of Mr. E. Zane stifled a gasp, he was looking at his face for the first time, and without permission, too. He quickly and carefully turned his head over, searching the back for an access panel. He found it and gently pushed in. After a moment, out popped the CPU. Zane quickly scanned it. Undamaged. Zane sighed in relief and delight, quickly removing it. He held it gently in his hands, then held it close to his chest. He vowed to then and there to take what he could back home, and to repair his broken enemy.

I'm going to order the tangles tomorrow. 3 of them 2 have texture and I'm going to mix them so I have a rainbow one, a green and pink feely one, and a big purple and blue/white one.i hope it turns out like I want I lucked into finding free shipping.

Anyway I sweeped and mopped, cleaned the toilet, washed some dishes and made lunch I'm going to make dinner soon. Easy mac n cheese because my kids are being easy tonight we got a new season salt that taste like lime everyone loves.

I also took like a 2 hour nap after taking my anxiety meds. Right now I'm just hanging out watching my kids play circutboard and pokemon snap.

Its been a good chill day. I feel productive and excited its almost mothers day and I'm happy about that too.
