~ A few minutes beforehand~
Steve was sitting on the edge of the bed holding up his camera, readjusting the lenses and said, “Babe you ready?”
Stella was in the closet, searching for what shoes to wear and sighs, “Uhhh in a mini fashion crisis…do I have to dress up?”
“Yes you do. You know how much I love hanging up theses Christmas pictures and sending them out with our holiday cards.”
“Why can’t it just be the kids or our dog?”
He stood up and walks over into the closet space with a smile, “Because. I want the woman who I love in at least one photo. Besides you’ll look amazing in anything.”
“You’re just saying that to get to wear this dress and these heels.” She replied with a smile, slipping on the heels she picked out.
“Maybe. Maybe not. But you are always in a solo photo, it’s tradition!”
“Says who?”
“Says the woman who brought me this camera in the first place.”
“Aww nuts! This is sorta my fault isn’t it?”
“Sorta. You brought me the camera and I just ran with it.”
“Aww dang it. It is my fault..but I ain’t complaining, since it makes you happy.”
“Very happy.”
“Too happy!”
He placed a kiss on her cheek and smiled softly, “I love you.”
“I know.” She replied with a small hint of blush on her cheeks.
“Years later and I can still make you blush.”
“Shut up! Come on picture time.”
The last thing heard was Steve’s iconic laugh as he took his wife’s hand and lead her down the stairs where he believed would be a nice place to take a few holiday pictures. Followed by Stella’s chuckling and a few words being said as she sat down on the exact steps where he told her, posing for the camera.

I stand in front of the vending machine, staring at the selection. Honey Buns, a banana, Reeces, and Doritos. Not exactly the Christmas Eve dinner we had originally planned. I buy the Honey Bun and bring it back to the room. Steve is sleeping in one of the arm chairs, still wearing his Christmas sweater. We were just supposed to go to the Christmas market and then go back home. This isn’t what was supposed to happen.

Natasha still hasn’t woken up yet and it has been nearly six hours. It ticks closer and closer to midnight. The TV overhead plays an old version of A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge is standing over his grave. That is not what we need right now. I click it off, and sit in the other armchair.

I gently put my hand in Nat’s, careful to avoid the IVs. The nurse drew a Christmas tree on one of the fluid bags. She needs to wake up. Please wake up,

The clock on the wall ticks.

💲How much does your OC typically spend on gifts and decorations for Christmas?
“I don’t spend any money on decorations unless the shops had good discount. Instead, I use the same decorations that we have at home for years. If I found a shop that has something that caught my eye, I wanted to give something special to my pops for everything he have done to keep running the dojo also that he’s been taking care of me for years. I really owe that old man my life…”
🎄 What does a traditional Christmas morning look like for your OC and their family (if they have one)? Are there numerous presents piled around the tree? Is there a ton of screaming and cheering from them or their family as they open up their gifts? Or is their Christmas morning relatively tame, and is filled with peace and quiet?
“It’s just me, my dad, mom, and two grandparents in the family so every year, we got 7 presents for ourselves. Sometimes I was the first person to woke up earlier than my family but if all them were still asleep, I went checking the gifts are there maybe take a peek what’s inside at our Christmas tree before them and wait until everyone woken up. We normally open our gifts and oh! my mom loves to take pictures of various moments of us holding our gifts. It’s like a normal Christmas routine for me and we were happy we got what we want from our presents hehe!”
🎁 Is there a particular gift that your OC wants this year? Are they hoping someone bought it for them? Have they worked hard to buy it themselves? Or are they hoping for a small miracle, and it will magically appear under the tree on Christmas morning?
“For the gift…one thing I do want for this year is that I was hoping for a miracle to get trip ticket to a cruise ship. One of the cruise ship that I heard of costs a lot of money to get in there and it’s impossible for my salary to reach that. Sighs after all I worked hard of my acting career and Ryuu-kun’s crazy training practice, I want to get a way from all the troubles. My body are crying for a massages and I really need a relaxing vacation for myself by now”

👪 Does your OC or their family invite a lot of people with them to celebrate it? Is their house filled with tons of relatives, cousins and other family members? Or do they keep the celebrations relatively low-key and only invite a few people? Or do they celebrate it by themselves?
“I tend to fly back to UK one week early to celebrate not only my birthday but also spent time with my family on holidays. All of my younger brothers and sisters were very excited to see me coming home every year. I even planning to bought many gifts as possible for them for their liking. Well there is one person I’m not looking forward to see… I do have other relatives from UK coming to our home for my birthday, as well. I knew myself I’ve done this before but it feels like such a long time to see familiar faces after staying in Japan.”
☃️ Does your OC enjoy the winter time? Do they like going outside and playing in the snow, building snowmen, having snowball fights, etc.? Or do they prefer to stay inside where its warm?
“Well I am a street magician so of course I enjoy going outside playing the snow on winter season. There are times I tend to play with the children at the nearest park doing bunch of fun activities with snowboarding, building snowman/small igloo and my favorite snowball fights! I’m always the one to be the elements of surprise of throwing snowballs at my dearest friends and no one knows I did it~ usually at Yoichi, it was the most entertaining 💗 Haah~ I really love that game so much. At the end of the day, I went straight back home and rest on my couch with drinking hot chocolate.”

“I-I’d like to think I’m the one who’d work my butt out earning much salary I have rather than waiting for someone to give me a present. It-I’s just that……I kind of feel bad for someone to buy me gifts for me that I wanted. You can say it costs…a lot of yen and yeah…I sound a bit selfish and impatient. F-for that question, I usually bought things in online shops. It’s way more easy than going out to mall of lots of people, especially on Black Friday. That was a nightmare……”

The matter of King Aerys’s heir was a contentious one. Many named his brother Rhaegel as the King’s heir. Prince Rhaegel despite being ‘mad as a bat’ had children with Lady Alys Arryn, including a son, Aelor. However, many also favored Princess Naerys’s gallant son, Daven Tyrell, a pinnacle of chivalry and gallantry with his faithful twin, Elaenora, a wise, dutiful young lady who many believed would marry either Aerion or Aelor when the time came. The matter though lied not in popular option or a Great Council but in King Aerys’s views. King Aerys held know particular preference for gender nor sex for his heir, in fact it is said that he would rather name Princess Naerys before him than become king. So, with bated breath, the Realm waited for the children of Myriah and Daeron to reunite once more.

Artificial. I've read somewhere you can get all sorts of infestations with like aphids and spiders and MITES. Like you know I'm not about those things. I leave it up usually by first weekend of January and then take it down (unless I'm lazy in which case it can stay up as late as february).

Ask: Anything specific your adore about for Winter time (aka the holiday season)? Also what are your favorite songs?
The radio playing Don’t Stop Believin’ as Steve’s singing and dancing with a smile.
He stops midway with a goofy grin and says, “Oh questions! It’s an interesting question actually. I was never really a colder weather guy growing up, especially since the strong change of weather and being a sick kid in New York City. Yikes, my mom used to freak out in the Winter since I used to come home with a stuffy nose, coughing, sneezing a lot and headaches some days with Bucky. It wasn’t pretty, staying home with a feverish temperature over the weekends. But now that I’m older, it’s been easier to deal with the weather changes..but it doesn’t change the fact that even with the serum in my system and whatnot, that I like the colder months.”
“As for holiday season? I love all of it. I like to think Thanksgiving is sorta underrated at times, since many people focus more on Christmas time. But for me, yeah, Thanksgiving is the pregame time before the season opens up. It’s when we get everyone together to share time under one roof, eat so much where you feel like you might fall into a food coma, start Black Friday shopping and playing or watching the game. As for Christmas time, I love decorating the tree, taking pictures and the front porch!” *He grins* “This year, I was able to find a rather huge Santa Claus and place him out front and have been taking a lot of pictures for the Christmas card! Overall, I love the cozy and nostalgic moments that the holiday season just brings to the table.”
