The Tooth Fairy is a well-known legend, and most people imagine a tiny, delicate lady who collects the teeth of small children and leaves a coin in its place. Unfortunately, due to various laws of secrecy, the REAL Tooth Fairy is unable to publicly set the record straight that he is, in fact, just your average joe who likes sports and prefers to be called 'Roy'. Since Tumblr is a gray area, he's here to answer your questions!
Based on a minor character from 'The Santa Clause 2' and 'The Santa Clause 3'.

Would you ever write a fic centred around a character from TSC canon who wasn't TF? E.g. Sandman, Jack, MomNat, etc.? (Adore your fics and your characterisation of TF/Roy, btw! And Alpha, too! You're super talented ☺️)

I would if I had a good idea and the time to write it! I wouldn't rule it out for the future, but I'd like to finish A Strange Bond and It's A Boy first, and I don't know how long that will take.
If I did write a fic with another character, I might actually have Sandman take center stage and have the antagonist/villain have something to do with dreams. But I don't know, that's probably been done before.

First snow!
It hit when I was at work, and they let us out a half hour early because the roads were so bad. After skidding and sliding all over the place and nearly hitting a telephone pole (and the few other people on the road were doing about the same) I spent the night at my dad's.
I think after a few years of getting hardly anything, everyone got a bit complacent, and the plows and salt trucks kinda dropped the ball last night.
I think next time we're supposed to get this much snow, I'll just call out.

Headcanon...
Roy/TF really isn't half-bad with a yo-yo, and is a casual fan of the Smothers Brothers. He's mastered about two thirds of the tricks Tom Smothers performed on the show, but stopped practicing indoors when he accidentally broke a lamp and is too worried about being spotted by someone to practice outdoors.
Or, at least, he is until he trips and drops a moving box, scattering its contents, and Alpha spots the yo-yo after helping him up. She comments that it needs a new string, runs off to get some kitchen twine, and they end up nerding out with the thing for a good three hours.

Christmas Day Recap
So, Christmas went well, all things considered. I hosted, but it was only supposed to be the three of us; me, my dad, and my brother. My dad calls me on Christmas Eve morning to tell me he woke up with a sinus infection, so...yeah, it was just two of us, and I sent home a plate for Dad.
It was FUN, though! Probably our first 'real' Christmas since we lost Mom back in 2021. I made dinner, bro and I got caught up, we opened presents, and watched 'The Princess Bride'. It was a quiet, low-key day with a good meal and a lot of old inside jokes, and the only thing that would have made it perfect was if my dad could have been here.
So, we're opening gifts, right? Mine from my dad has one of those strips of big pillow-like bubble wrap, the kind that sounds like a firecracker when you pop them...and my mom LOVED popping bubble wrap! Without thinking, I popped one, and my brother's face lit up, he gasped, and held out his hands. We each grabbed an end, and 'POP-POP-POP!' And neither of us knew the other was going to say it, but we said in perfect unison, "That one was for YOU, Mom!" Cue the laugh attack.

Santa: *laughs* Hey, that's my line!
Roy: Oh, sorry. ^^ *drops some miniature marshmallows into his cocoa and takes a sip* Please, be my guest.
Santa: Nah, I'll let it slide. This time. *helps himself to some cocoa* Stopping to rest your wings, or do you just like our hot chocolate that much?
Roy: Yes and yes. Judy really knows her stuff! Oh, I also wanted to give ya this. *holds out his fist and opens it, and in the palm of his hand is a tiny nutcracker ornament* Heard you liked these.
Santa: *his smile fades a bit as he takes it, and he stares at it as if it reminds him of something...perhaps some long-forgotten bad dream* Gee, that's...really lifelike, isn't it?
Roy: *his own smile drops* Oh...I guess I heard wrong.
Santa: No, no! He's great, he really is. *grins again, not wanting to hurt his friend's feelings* Thanks, Roy. I know just where I'll put him, too.
Roy: *doesn't quite believe him, but smiles back* Well, I better go. *calls out* Thanks for the cocoa, Judy!
Judy: *calls from out of sight* You're welcome! Safe travels!
Santa: *waves as he leaves, then resumes staring at the nutcracker*
Bernard: *walks over* Eesh. That one's creepy.
Santa: Yeah. I think I'll put it in Curtis's office.
Bernard: Somehow I don't think the Tooth Fairy would appreciate his gift being rejected like that.
Santa: Nahhh, I don't mean permanently, I just want to get Curtis back for that whole Toy Santa thing.
Bernard: *holds up his hands* I will deny all knowledge of this. *hands in pockets, he walks off*
***Two Hours Later~***
Curtis: *enters his office, whistling to himself, then turns to hang up his coat* O_O D'ah! *sighs* Silver Bells...

Merry Christmas! (I'm Surrounded By Grinches...)
We're almost there! Aaand I'm exhausted. XD I'm hosting this year for the first time (thankfully just me, my dad, and my brother), and now I'm thinking to myself, "Good lord, what have I done?"
I have to bake cookies today, and I also planned on doing a lot of cleaning. So, what am I actually doing? Messing around on my laptop and wondering where the time went!
Maybe it's just working in retail that has me so drained. I got called a useless b***h yesterday because some guy apparently doesn't know how to read signs and he wanted a $12.00 pair of leggings for $4.00.
Guy: *gets between me and the cart I'm using to hold the clothes I'm folding, pokes my shoulder to get my attention as if he didn't already have it, and jabs a finger at the $4.00 sign, and no hello, by the way* They're charging me $12.00 for this, and it's $4.00! Explain to me why I'm being overcharged!
Me Oh, no, sorry, that's this item right here on the end. What you've got there is $12.00, it's such-and-such brand. That's so-and-so brand.
Guy: *raising his voice even more* Then WHY is it under the $4.00 sign?!?!
Me: *thinking 'it's a warehouse, you rude creature, not a boutique'* That's just the order they're in on the table. It's not what's directly under the sign, it's where it is on the table. *thinking 'which you would know if you bothered to look at the brand!'*
Guy: *bares his teeth and gets in my face* Useless...B***H!!! *walks off*
Guys, I wish I was making this up. I wasn't even upset, it was just so ridiculous! A coworker of mine said two women were fighting over a coat that had been reduced, literally playing tug-of-war with it. "I was here first!" "No, I was here first!" "It's mine! I was here first!" The one woman's husband actually saved the day, and said, "Honey, you have six coats at home. Let's go."
So many people who don't bother to say excuse me, despite speaking perfect English, who take it upon themselves to TOUCH me! Don't touch my arm, poke my shoulder, or move my hecking cart out of the way to get something! SAY! EXCUSE ME!
*panting* ...Sorry, where was I? Oh yeah. Guys, I'm tired. But! Home is the sanctuary it was always meant to be, and I've been blessed, despite my complaining (I think I just like to complain, or maybe it's just such a habit by now.).
