finally got around to watching the percy jackson musical a few days ago because my boyfriend’s little sister played annabeth (she was AMAZING btw) and it made me realize something:

during annabeth’s solo (“my grand plan”), she sings that her grand plan is to be remembered. that it’s literally all she wants, especially since athena seems so determined to forget she even exists (eg. zero contact ever since she made it to camp, literally giving her a hat of INVISIBILITY, etc.).

but now remind me again of the ONE thing percy is certain of when he gets his mind wiped in SON?

that’s right: annabeth.

I understand why people feel bad for Aaron Tvait, but can we spare a thought for Chris McCarell, the only other actor eligible for nomination, who somehow didn't get a nomination? Like regardless if you think Aaron Tvait is a better performer, or more deserving of a tony, you have to admit that it's pretty unfair that McCarell wasn't even nominated.
