from an article , I don't know which one bc I copied it from a blog but SO MANY THINGS TO UNPACK LMFAOO / Screenrant- Don't Worry Darling: Olivia Wilde Has Achieved What Many Directors Crave .... The mention of Chirstopher Nolan and her in the same sentence had me on the floor.
i just don’t understand the “Olivia Wilde has achieved what many directors crave” comment when she’s only directed two movies (if you want to count booksmart.). how far up her ass are these tabloids LMAO 😭
Legend says that Robert Fischer was a sweet gay man who had daddy issues but Christopher Nolan wanted us to understand that instead of giving a voice to it.
So, After watching Oppenheimer l don't believe that l would be able to recover any time soon from its magnificent ness. Yes, it was MAGNIFICENT!
I will post my reviews about the entire movie later, but for now, I would like to share my favorite scene from the movie. I must tell you that from the opening of the movie till the ending, yeah that indescribable in words ending scene, the tension never decreases. In fact, it keeps going further and further as the scenes progress and contrary to those who says it was boring, believe you don’t find time to get bored in that turmoil.
We know from the creator of the movie, Christopher Nolan himself who felt the need to give some hint about this movie of him, since people find it too hard to understand referring to his previous movies, that the colorful scenes are subjective and the black and white scenes are objective ones. What did he mean by saying that? it means that we get to see and feel or go through almost exact feelings what Oppenheimer went through at the time, despite what had been told to the world by Cillian Murphy's Outstanding acting skills. Allow me to tell you that I'm a huge fan of Cillian Murphy, therefore l know him and follow his works and am aware of how successful an actor he is from his movies contrary to those who only know him from Peaky Blinders, which is another proud work of him. So, when l read where Nolan Says this about Cillian Murphy I understood why they have a 20-year-old friendship built and why Nolan kept delivering parts in his movies for Cillian Murphy.
Now let's come to the scene where l myself felt vulnerable while watching it which is one of my favorites. there is this scene where Oppenheimer is being questioned about his relationship with Jean Tatlock. See, throughout the interrogation, his wife Kitty is in the room too. So, when he is asked to tell why he went to see Jean Tatlock while running The Manhattan Project, the scene where Oppenheimer is seated in front of all the fake board members and his Wife Kitty in his suit, suddenly turns into where Oppenheimer is sitting all naked in front of those people and of course his wife Kitty. During this scene, my admiration for Christopher Nolan hit differently. And l came to understand more and more why he has a title such as The Genius of the Cinema, Why there are terms that represent his steady and powerful throne in Hollywood like, "Nolan's Movie" and the desire of actors and actresses to want to be in his movies. This is him(Christopher Nolan) telling us to feel, to see, to comprehend what was Oppenheimer going through and how vulnerable he was and he had been taken advantage of in this entire project.
There, this was my favorite scene in Christopher Nolan's incredible work of art Oppenheimer, delivered by outstanding actor Cillian Murphy.
