”Child of the Full Moon”
Inspired by that horrible moon puzzle in the castle :P I really liked the artwork along the walls.

modern wolfstar but sirius is a scam tarot reader at small town fairs (he got the cards from a thrift store for a few pounds, watched one video on how to read them and he decided it's his best shot at making some money to survive). cue the fair where he's working ends up in a small town from wales where, lo and behold, he keeps pulling the moon and the death card for everyone. a small child that can't be older than 5? they get the death card. an old lady who wanted to know how her tomatoes will do this summer? death.
now, sirius does know that the death card means new beginnings and it's not as bad as it seems but everyone just starts calling him names and his clientele lessens by the day because everyone finds out about his cards and how he's the bringer of death (literally no one died since he got there so he finds the new nickname a bit overkill).
he's too worried about his scamming abilities though. he just can't shake the weird feeling he gets when he pulls moon out again, even after he takes the damn card out of his pack because he's sick of seeing it (he leaves the death card in because he does find it funny)
but then, on the night before the full moon, when he's just getting ready to pack his cards and cheap props and call it a day, a farmer comes to get a reading. he's still in his overalls because he came straight from the farm here to check out the card reader who the villagers keep saying is predicting deaths on the full moon to see what the fuss is about.
sirius is smitten as soon as the farmer opens his mouth, but imagine his surprise when he hears that he's been slowly making people fear him again, after he just convinced them that he's a kind guy. and imagine his bigger surprise when the cute farmer with hay stuck in his hair and mud on his overalls tells him he's a werewolf.

Poor Mayhem is trying to care for their ill half-sister! Trying to keep her from the moon doesn't seem to help though. Though their immunity is pushing them to help with finding the cure!
I couldn't resist posting this while still working on an infection chart-

The Full Moon
@fxirytxlcfxtc
Madeline waits by the phone, torn between pacing frantically and curling herself in the living room as she desperately waits for it to ring. He can't have gone far. At least that's what the cops had said. She should wait here in case he comes toddling back home.
They sent out a small search party out, anyone who was willing to brave the night, being what it was. The full moon here in Addersfield is not as dangerous as it might be other places, but that doesn't help the aching terror coursing through her body. Auggie is out there, somewhere, probably lost, probably alone, probably scared once he realizes he doesn't know how to get home.
More tears stream down her face. He's always been a bit more restless around the full moon. She thinks it might be Sage's fault, some learned behavior from how much he's latched onto them. God, she just wants him to be okay, needs him to come home safe. She checks her phone again for any call that they've found him and considers for the millionth time, running out into the night to find him herself.
-
Auggie doesn't even shiver as he toddles along through the woods. Looking up at the moon, he happily grins and giggles, breaking off into a more full on run. It's nice out here. He feels drawn to it, drawn to play and explore, roll in the leaves and chase down whatever noises he hears.
Then he feels it, just a little tug, usually the one he gets when he knows it's time to come home. He pouts a little. He doesn't wanna go home. Not yet. And yet, he still follows it, whatever little growing part of him that knows his mom will miss him if she knows he's gone. He finds himself in a clearing, somewhere deeper in the forest, and cocks his head slightly. That's not Way-bees. That's a... "Puppy!!"
He excitedly rushes towards it, knowing instinctively that he won't be hurt.
