After a long time abroad, Heather eventually made her way back to the Americas. But she still wasn't ready to return home, so instead she landed in Chestnut Ridge, deep down south, ready for a new experience.
In Chestnut Ridge Heather took up work on a horse ranch, where her room and board were covered by her labour helping to take care of the horses.
Heather had no experience with horses, having grown up in the suburbs. At first she was apprehensive, but in time she warmed up to them and enjoyed their peaceful company. Eventually she even learnt to ride - though she was never too keen on going fast.
When not working on the ranch Heather would get down into town to the local bars where fellow ranch hands and locals would while their evenings away drinking and dancing. Heather soon became known to everyone in town, and she loved getting to know all the local residents and their stories - even going so far as to learn how to cowpoke dance.
Heather hadn't thought much of cuisine in Chestnut Ridge, until she met Aponi, a serene girl who introduced Heather to Indigenous meals such as Three Sisters Chilli. She was constantly amazed by the new things she ate and made mental notes of how it was all created. Heather found herself very attracted to Aponi and the two became quite close during her time in Chestnut Ridge, bonded by a shared love of food.

The newlyweds were married at the Brindleton Congregational Church, on April 15th, in a ceremony that was presided by the Reverend John Powers and attended by their most immediate family. It was that same afternoon, that the three agents found themselves back downtown, hosted up in 3rd floor private office of the Director for a quick, informal briefing.
Argent: My apologies to bring you back in on a Saturday Angels, but I'm afraid one of the situations we've been monitoring has developed.
Vera: Developed how exactly?
Argent: Give me a moment to explain 005.
Argent: For the last few months, UNIT HQ has been monitoring a small drug smuggling operation that popped up near the Southern Simerican border. Insignificant enough to start, yes- but recently it's picked up quite a bit of steam.
Enough steam to officially become our problem.
Argent: Unfortunately for your social calendars- but indeed quite fortunate for international espionage, earlier this morning we received an anonymous tip that a fresh shipment will be passing from hand to hand before the week is officially up.
Kate: How do we know this tip is legitimate?
Argent: We don't. That's where my Angels come into the picture. I want you three on the ground to figure out what it is- where they're getting it- and who's responsible.
Poppy: Track, Secure, Bag and Tag.
Sounds simple enough. Do we have a primary target or are we going in completely blind?

Meet Johann Vader. Former tech magnate turned so called spiritualist. Currently taking up residence in the hills surrounding Chestnut Ridge, he makes his living by marketing himself to the powerful and wealthy as a holistic healer.

Miguel has lived in Chestnut Ridge his whole life, he was raised by his Grandmother until she died when he was 11 years old, he then went to stay at the local orphanage until he was old enough to go out on his own. Miguel loves being outside and working with the animals in the area, he isn't afraid to get dirty (playing mud is fun!) and always works hard. He does odd jobs around town but he usually keeps to himself, but he is friendly but he isn't fond of city folk or tourists coming by to cause problems. He's a firm believer that if an animal companion immediately doesn't like someone, they probably aren't a great person.
That being said, when he met a snobby woman named Kimiko who got off at the wrong bus stop he decided to help her despite her being rude to him. He did take the opportunity to tease her saying "You wouldn't last a day out here" to which Kimi took that as a challenge. He continued to help her when she found a foal wandering around despite their clashing personalities. He would tease her about her ridiculous obsession with pink and her dramatic attitude but that only made Kimiko determined to "prove this idiot wrong" Needless to say she ended up sticking around to his surprise and eventually became friends and then a bit more than friends. They are now married with two kids. (and Miguel does still tease her, just in a endearing way hehe)

while on their break, ricky decided to drop the bomb that one of the chestnut ridge residents, paloma, has asked ricky out on a date night.. out.. at the dance hall... platonically of course. while tristan may have been a llittle apprehensive, wynona is on board. sure, ricky can say that it isn't a date, but wynona knows it definitely is and she definitely wants to be there. besides... the dance hall?! wynona loved going there with her family when she was younger, obvioulsy she hasn't gone since the start of this trip because honestly.. who goes to a dance hall by themself? in wynona's mind this was killing two birds with one stone, and she can't wait until this date platonic outing that is happening next weekend.. which is also the last weekend in chesnut ridge (omg)

Biography: Milan was born in San Myshuno to a single father who had a little oopsie when hooking up with a woman one night… However, he wasn’t the only oopsie. Milan has an older half-brother, named Amias, who is only 6 months older than him because he too was an oopsie after a hook-up. His father moved him and his brother out to Oasis Springs when they were toddlers, and it was here that Milan discovered his love for the desert and horses. He has loved horses since he was a child and has always wanted to own his own country home in the desert with lots of land so he can ride into the sunset every day. Eventually Milan and his family moved into a smaller home in coastal San Sequoia, where he spent his teen years. During this time he missed the desert of Oasis Springs and was impatient to return, but as if it was destiny, his father met horse trainer Sienna Grove and began dating her. The two became exclusive and after Amias moved out, his father and Milan moved to Sienna’s residence in Chestnut Ridge, where he currently resides. His father is now currently engaged and Milan is close to his future step-mother for their similar interests and the fact that he gets to live with her horse Flapjack.
Personality: Besides being a horse-lover, Milan is a goofball. He loves jokes of any kind, even mischief, and this stems from growing up in a lax boys-only family. In-game they all of the jokesters family dynamic with each other. However, Milan is the introverted one of the family (loner) and likes to primarily stick with people he knows, which makes it hard for him to branch out and meet new people. His preference for horses over people also tie into this, but with his family members busy building families of their own (his father marrying Sienna and his brother Amias just having his first child with his new wife), it may be time for Milan to meet someone new.

He has a very diverse ancestry. He can trace his ancestry to Europe, Africa, India, Asia, and Latin America.
Since they’re only 6 months apart, he and Amias are close enough in age to have been apart of the same year in school, but their father kept them a grade apart so they could be separated and be allowed to make other friends besides each other

His brother Amias is a famous actor, so Milan has a little notoriety for being his brother
Milan comes from my legacy family (that I don’t share on simblr bc I like having a family to play privately). He is a spare and is from generation 5 (Amias is the heir). As such, he is related to other sims I’ve submitted to people. He is the grandson of Marcella Vinca and the great nephew of Cylene Vinca (both seen here with Marcella on left and Cylene on right)
Once again, he is not named after the city in Italy. He has the Slavic name. He has this name because the Vinca’s have a naming convention in which the heir’s children’s names correspond to that heir’s generational theme. For example, his father (the gen 4 heir) was a serial romantic and dated a lot of people, so Milan’s name and his brother’s name each have meanings related to love.
