it gets to the point where they have a whole detailed schedule
edmund is horrified with it because it hangs on the wall and is extremely visible
hes known for trying to destroy it with lucy’s help but that’s not important

🌙Aphelios most certainly has C-PTSD. Without dumping too much on it; he's had to experience the same sort of trauma multiple times. Again and again. As far as he sees it, it's a never ending cycle. He's become so numb to it all... but when he gets some sort of normalcy? That is what terrifies him the most. He knows it won't last, and so he cherishes the moment, even if it were five minutes out of his day.
He'll take what little scraps of happiness he can get

So I've been thinking and like, y'know how Childe has one little white stripe on his hair? Yeah so, I think that man would be so very happy if his children looked like him because imagine like him being so, so, so smitten with them when he sees that they have the same little eyes and oh! A little white stripe of hair rests on top of their chubby cheek, he'd coo and spoil them so much. Poor reader would be stuck with literal copies of Ajax running around and being just as annoying as their daddy, though.
THIS IS SO CUTE. I don’t even like kids, but this low key made me smile.
Id like to imagine that Childe has very strong genes, so I definitely see your kids having ginger hair and big blue eyes just like their daddy! He’s such a doting dad too, he just loves them so much. :(
And oh my gosh when he first got to cradle the baby for the first time, he got a bit teary eyed. Not only does he spoil the kids but he’ll never turn them down if they wanna play toys with him. Childe gets so much cuteness aggression, he just wants to pinch their cute little cheeks all the time!
It’s going to be a VERY loud house. A headache is not uncommon at this point, but you can’t even be mad when seeing him bonding with the kids with a huge smile on his face.

🌙Some thoughts about Aphelios and him being a noctum junkie™
Sad boy is sad, needs to feel a connection to someone while never actually speaking to anyone. I.e. emotionally dependent on his sister. Does that mean he never wants to speak to anyone else? No. Just feels as if it might be a waste of time since he might never see them again. Ever.
Due to the lack of physical pain he feels from consuming noctum, he could probably collapse at any moment when the effects run its course-- never stopping to rest, his muscles extremely fatigued after miles of walking with no breaks, or even after a fight.
No actual side effects from noctum, other than extremely strong bouts of depression. I'd say some sickness since... poison. But I don't like talking about that so I won't.
It's essentially a drug to him that has no actual addictive tendencies to it, but is treated as such so he can have the connection to Alune.
He always has a small amount of noctum running through his veins just to not be alone with his thoughts. When it comes to an actual fight or preparing for one, he'll toss the rest of the vile down his throat with (seemingly) no issue. He's already in a bit of pain with the small amount in his veins, so taking the rest won't feel as bad. He makes an excuse to do it to be "prepared for anything."
