Childhood favorite gay icon Cerise Hood
Alright, a lot of these choices had to do with practicality or character consistency
First is the hood! There are three major changes I made beyond aesthetics. First, the outermost layer is buttoned at the neck. Second, the bow is connected to a second hood that works a little more like a bonnet, tied under the chin for extra protection. Third, I made it kind of a coat? Partially I thought that it would be neat if she could tie the cape around her waist for whatever reason, but honestly I was mostly thinking of Howl and how cool the silhouette would look
If Ramona is the punk sister, Cerise is the emo jock sister. She has a big investment in hiding herself, so she's always layered up. Shirt, light hoodie, varsity jacket, cape, leggings, leg warmers, shorts. It's a lot.
The purple leggings weren't supposed to be that purple but I'm too lazy to edit it now so just know that it really should be a more muted reddish-purple
i think she deserves an identity crisis as a treat
I took away her makeup, not because she's "not like other girls" but because she strikes me as the type to genuinely not see the appeal in putting it on herself. She just doesn't bother unless she's doing it with her friends for a special event

And now the Rebel Edition of: Dolls We Were Robbed Of!
(Some I already in the royal edition so I won't mention them again here. Not all the rebels will be included since they had dolls that had artwork/episode counterparts.)
First up, Ashlynn Ella! Her Getting Fairest, Thronecoming, and her dress(es) from A Tale of Two Parties and Epic Winter were all amazing! They were so her and also spoke of her story and fit her so well.
(In my opinion, Holly looks better with her hair down than that elaborate bun.)
Up next we have our favorite match maker: C.A. Cupid! Here we have her Getting Fairest look, her outfit from the True Hearts Day episode, and, my personal favorite, her Cinderella looks.

Next we have another favorite of mine: Cedar Wood! We have her Legacy Day outfit, Getting Fairest (pictured belong with Cerise), and Thronecoming. (I already talked about the beautiful truth in my Royal's post.)
Next we have Cerise's Fairest and Thronecoming looks. Both girl's Fairest looks are so cute and I love them. I also think I can see pants in Cerise's Thronecoming looks, though it's a little too dark to see.
Now we have Hunter's Legacy Day and Thronecoming/Formal attire. He looks so dashing and daring in both of his looks.
Here we have Jackie and Northwind Frost. They had awesome costumes that would have looked awesome on dolls.
Now our favorite feline prankster, Kitty Cheshire! Her looks are all so cute and I love all the cat ears they give her. I love her cat ears and fur lined cape. Her Getting Fairest look is just adorable overall and I'm in love with her Thronecoming look! It's so regal and the hair curled up into cones to look like cat ears? Again, adorable!
I already said this, but I'll say it again, there were so many good looks in Hat-tastic Tea Party, and Kitty, Lizzie, and Raven deserved to be included. They all look so good!
And now, my favorite Wonderlandian, Maddie Hatter! I wish we could have seen her Thronecoming dress. I would have expected her to have a short dress like Briar and Poppy, but it looks to long with multiple layers. And her Dragon Games armour is adorable!
Next, our favorite fairy tale DJ, Melody Piper! Like with Maddie, it's her Thronecoming and Dragon Games looks. They look so good. I love the alternative style they gave her in her Thronecoming look, and the neon splashes on her Dragon armour are great touches!
And finally, we have Poppy! I've already featured her Thronecoming/Formal dress in my Royals post, so it's just her Getting Fairest look her. I love the braided design on her nightgown and on her dress too!
(The only for Raven was her Hat-tastic Tea Party dress and I already talked about that.)
Thanks for tuning in!

c. 2023
"The Blue Rose Rare" by Alexander James Adams has been on loop in my CD player for a week now. While I was never a huge fan of the E.A.H. dolls, I loved Cerise too much to pass up, and 'Little Red Hood' parallels her backstory kinda perfectly, so I suppose it was inevitable that I'd eventually make a wallpaper.
Enjoy.
