Fun Fact about c!tommy and c!techno: they’re both AroAce.

It was straight up disturbing, listening to the sound of Tommy sobbing and thrashing through the drywall.

Chat? Should I go check on him? He wonders, licking a finger and turning the page of the novel he was trying to read. It was a gift from Phil, and 

L. Why’s he crying? Technosoft. Get him to be quiet.

Technoblade sighed, shuffling out of his bed as quietly as possible as to not awaken Phil. How that man could sleep through everything was a mystery to Technoblade, perhaps it was the snoring. Regardless, Techno carefully placed one foot in front of the other, willing each floorboard not to creak. He was half successful in his endeavors, breathing a sigh of relief as he reached the other side of the hallway.

Technoblade squinted as he stepped into the dark room, allowing his eyes to adjust to the gloom. Tommy had certainly made himself at home; several books lay on the floor, propped open on the floor. Tommy’s ratty blue coat was strung across one of the chairs with a borrowed sewing kit, and one of Wilbur’s old stuffed teddy bears sat cross legged at the miniature table. 

Techno snorted at the mental image of Tommy trying to get a stuffed animal to stay in that position- for what, a tea party? Tommy would be caught dead before playing with dolls. But Techno’s amusement soon faded as he noticed, behind the table, under a mass of blankets and pillows that had been taken off of the bed- Tommy.  

He was curled in on himself, and even in the darkness Techno could tell he had cried himself to sleep. More startlingly though, were the soft mumbles that still left his mouth as he shifted.

“No. Don’t, please exile me don’t do it, I-” Tommy groaned, clumsily throwing his hands up as if he were protecting himself from a beating.

“Okay… Yes, okay. I'm sorry Tubbo- wait no!” Tommy muttered, his voice growing more frantic as Techno stared on. 

Oh no. He wasn’t remotely prepared for this. Philza was- Philza could probably handle this better. Yes, Techno would wake up his dear old friend, and explain how Tommy was having a nightmare. But then Tommy croaked in a tiny voice “Please don’t leave!” And Techno winced.

Maybe it was his own sleepy mind, or the fact that something in Tommy changed, or Techno was finally going soft, but he couldn’t bring himself to watch this unfold in front of him and not do… Something.

Nausea twists in his gut, because he’s Technoblade. One of the greatest fighters any SMP had known, a skyblock champion, a winner of many duels and competitions, and prophet of the Blood God.

So why does he care so much?

I am having AU brainrot and I must share it.

So it’s bedrock bros God of War basically. Obviously Kratos is Techno and Atreus is Tommy and the plot is pretty similar but there are some things that are different that changes some things.

First off, Tommy was given to Techno by the goddess of Death (Kristen) not his (technically) biological son. (Although this is kind of obsolete because of Reasons, Tommy is Basically his bio son without him having actually…created him)

Secondly, Techno named Tommy Theseus, but the woman who raised him gave him the nickname of Tommy. The woman who raised him is Not Technos wife, but just a woman he trusted to take care of Tommy, named Clara. She dies, obviously, leaving Techno to come pick up the kid he should’ve been raising.

Techno, instead of having the title of God of War, instead has the title of God of Blood. Instead of his skin being stained white by the ashes of his family, his hair was stained red by the blood of the innocent he slaughtered. As this story is later in the future, his hair has lightened to more of a pink color :)

Also, instead of Realms, it’s dimensions, of course the ones we know and love, Overworld, Nether, and End, but there will be a couple ones that might also be familiar that I won’t spoil :)))))

Anyways, Technos home dimension is the nether, because he was born piglin and the ‘gods’ that he killed there were all the leaders/rulers of the respective mobs of the nether, including his own father.

One of the most crucial things that is different is of course the Voices. Sticking with the popular headcanon, the voices in Technos head are people who have died/he has killed or caused the deaths for. These voices can send him into a rage where he goes blind with bloodlust and kills everything around him. Despite the fact that this has not happened in many many years and the fact that he has much more control over them, he is still deathly afraid of losing himself to them once more. So that’s why, instead of raising the son he was given, he instead gives him away, believing that anywhere would be safer than by his side.

There’s a bunch more subtle and huge changes I have planned, but I really need to start writing this shit down and legitimately planning before I can spoil anymore lol.

Look out for when the first chapter comes out, I already have it completely planned but I want to plan a couple more chapters (at least 5-6) before I start really getting into the writing of it. Hopefully, by doing so, I can bring out a more fully fleshed out story that will be much more enjoyable to read.

There's this one conversation c!Ranboo and c!Techno have about c!Tommy, where c!Techno is joking about how c!Tommy would totally kill his pets (in this case Steve) and then go all "you can't hold me accountable for that, it was a full minute ago, I'm a changed person!" and what I find really funny about that conversation is how much it sounds like something someone might say about c!Technoblade.

(It sounds exactly like how c!Techno reacts to people bringing up c!Tubbo's execution)

Like c!Tommy and c!Techno both hate each other for their shared flaws. They say the same things when arguing why the other sucks.

But also on top of that, they both make up the same flaws for each other that the other doesn't even have. Like neither c!Tommy nor c!Techno would ever lay a hand on someone's pet (outside of self-defense), but they both think the other would.

(They both think the other is selfish and aggressive and doesn't care about anyone but themself, but in reality they're both kind and fiercely protective under all the layers of gruffness and abrasiveness, though in different ways)

c!bedrock bros got me crazy. how do you mourn someone you hate?

to be clear i think that the seasons “discourse” is stupid like call the “seasons” of s1 whatever u want and call s2 whatever you want just don’t force other people to agree with you and DEFINITELY don’t act like the ccs don’t have a right over their own stories and have to rename things according to your preferences

however

yes i do have to say i have a huge soft spot for the previously defined seasons (as according to the finales of november 16th, the disc finale, and the prison break) because it’s specifically structured around c!dream’s story, which is why I feel that referring to arcs in themselves is also incomplete. 

(for future reference, i’ll probably be ripping off a suggestion from twitter and referring to them as seasons 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D ^_^)

my friend @bluestrawberrys and I recently watched treasure planet together! and we got to thinking....... we kinda just word vomited into a google doc so hopefully this makes sense to anyone but us....

we messed with the plot a bit to fit the c!characters a little better because we wanted to. we do what we what, but the general plot is the same eehehe.... characters below

Jim - Tommy

Tommy is in orphanage run by Puffy, Tubbo is another orphan there whose Tommy’s best friend. Quackity is second mate which is totally a thing. Techno is nicer to Tommy than silver is to jim but not by much. Techno is still a cyborg but his alien race is piglin (obviously) which are notoriously attracted to gold and treasure. 

Phil and Kristin are both elytrians with black wings, elytrians are extremely rare due to being hunted for wings several decades ago. It’s what they start to bond over on the ship. Kristin’s surname is Craft, Phil takes it when they get married.

Tommy is also elytrian, his wings are brown and white with ‘freckles’, they’re like hawk wings and are small which makes him faster. He also has bird tail for agility.

Phil is an old friend of puffy and started visiting the orphanage on occasion to help out but he kept going back regularly for Tommy. He wants to adopt him one day, the reason he comes on the ship is to protect Tommy.

Are you like, still ok with dsmp lore/character analysis asks? Cause i want your thoughts around sam real bad but don't wanna be rude.

If you're still ok w those kinda asks but dont wanna write a bunch just saying where on the spectrum between vilifier and apologist you are would be really cool too! (Gonna take a wild guess that you're somewhere near a critical sympathizer? Like you understand why he did stuff n dont think hes evil but still think he made very immoral choices or something)

c!sam is one of the only characters where i have nearly full faith in regarding authorial intent, for starters. Sam The Dude (bringing that back) is obviously very self aware of his characters morally ambiguous and sometimes straight up ethically bankrupt actions, and everything he does with consideration for his character and the plot makes sense to me up until. Well.. c!sam's prison arc. But all of the consequences of that arc are still up in the air and I still stand by sam's understanding of the metatextual implications of his characters actions. Because oh boy does sam GET CONSEQUENCES. However for now I'm keeping my distance from that until we get some more c!hotelduo shit.

I think Sam The Guy is an expert at writing his character's hypocrisy compared to, say, c!techno's. C!Techno does things selfishly and impulsively, and doubles down on the decisions he makes regardless of how destructive or hurtful they are to anyone who isn't him or his friends. This is largely in part perpetuated by his character never reaping the consequences of those actions. That's a fact, not an opinion. So his hypocrisy in relation to his principles (his hatred for any form of government) feels antagonistic and almost goofy when you realize that makes him the defacto government, if he is to be the judge jury and executioner of the smp's organized communities. See the syndicate and snowchester or literally any ctechno stream post bedrockbros arc.

Now look at C!Sam. Sam does everything to follow HIS principles, but has extremely little regard for himself and other people, aside from C!Tommy. While attempting to make things more safe, his downfall lies in that code becoming an obsession, leading to him to justify mutilating his ex and stopping tommy from killing dream in C!wilburs revival stream for the sake of containing the real threat. And most notably, we figure out that sam somehow found out about c!ranboo's association with c!dream, which is a concept that explains a myriad of fatal errors with pandora's vault security and some experiences inside it. C!Sam killing c!ranboo is awful, sure, but there's this thing called DRAMATIC IRONY, where we know it wasn't truly c!Ranboo (debatable, given how ranboo The Guy abandoned his damn character) who carried out the plan with the explosives that lead to c!tommy's death and subsequent revival, but c!sam doesn't. And once again, the cycle of violence is repeated. However, for all these things, C!Sam faces dire punishments. Probably more than any character on the server.

C!Ponk and c!sam will probably never heal their relationship. As much as C!sam may regret it or feel remorse for hurting them, c!ponk has every right to be scornful and hold resentment towards him for the rest of their lives. C!tommy, someone c!sam has held dear throughout the entire show and arguably values the most, HATES him and never wants to see him again after his incidents. C!tubbo and his murder squad put him in the prison HE OVERSAW SECURITY FOR.... punishments left and right at this point.

And this is why his character and his hypocrisy are more tragic to me. All of this comes to a head when C!dream, someone he shouldn't even feel remorse towards, kills him after he wakes him up to his own cruelty and murders him for the keycards. C!Sam is constantly hurting himself and others and being brutally punished afterwards, without learning much, because he feels like his principles justify his actions. But now he has no need for these principles, since the prison has been rendered obsolete and he's lost everyone he wants to protect.

Which is why I feel his redemption arc would be the most rewarding at this point in the story. He seems to finally be recognizing his errors. sam feels like the type of character to not want this guilt to destroy him more than it already has, and if I had control over this story, or even the room with sam The Guy, I'd ask him to start with c!tommy. His redemption starts back at the beginning: protecting this kid from a monster. Except this time, he does it right, and he does it because he not only cares for him, but he owes it to him, as both the adult and as someone who is distinctly aware of c!tommy's suffering at the hands of c!dream.
