bought some craft supplies from etsy for a ✨project✨

#i am COMPLETELY going overboard but i love crafting supplies #im literally in the process of getting a bachelors degree in craft supplies (more or less)#love craft supplies #kinda wanna finish the ✨project✨ within the week but thats SUPER unlikely esp since i have like 6 assignments to write #eh whatever two of those arent due until end of july two more until the end of the semester and only the two lab reports are due next week #and for those i have a great lab partner and we motivate each other quite well also i like her A LOT #shes such a genuinely lovely person literally everyone gets along with her shes so insanely likable #like shes the one who almost everyone is friends with (but she is MY lab partner hA)#this is turning into a love rant about my friend but i just think shes so neat. the other day she was like #'ive never before gotten to love people as quickly as you guys' and i was so 🥺🥺🥺 because i do absolutely love her too!#also i love that i can tell my friends i love them and it's nor weird because i do love them!#i love that i willed myself to talk to and go out with people during my first weeks at uni and now have so many lovely friends #just. all in all very happy to be constantly evolving into a more confident version of myself #ANYWAYS BACK TO CRAFT SUPPLIES

Abitc 16.5; Daisy Tonner's Very Strange Escort Mission

A very, verrry rough snippet that has been completely rewritten at this point, but is self contained enough to share. Or, Elias and Jon's escort to Bournemouth is a wet behind their ears Daisy who is 19 has very little Hunt in her, and would probably be a Buffy wannabe.

As the youngest sectioned officer on record, Daisy knows why she’s been assigned to this silly little escort mission. But it’s still a bit embarrassing for her first assignment outside of writing tickets to be- to be escorting an oddly cheerful man and his creepy son to Bournemouth.

The man, one Elias Bouchard has somehow managed to coerce the three of them into a game of blackjack, citing it to be ‘An excellent way to while away the train ride.’ And while the man is very good at cheating, she’s not quite sure how this foppish airhead was accused of murder. He’s far more open than his son, rambling on about, well she tuned him out after the third tangent, about the link between censorship and cultural conservatism. But the strangest thing, if she read case file correctly, the one that had committed the murder Bouchard was accused of, it was a ghost? A ghost who had confessed to said crime?

It’s- Bouchard is weird, but in the way most bookworms tended to be. She’d go as far as to say that the man is harmless, with a penchant for spoiling his son.

His son, is much more… eerie. Bright green eyes take up half his face, and he hardly ever blinks. Minutes pass, and when he does blink it’s slow, cat-like and lazy, a predator sunning itself as it observes the dalliances of rabbits. More pressingly, Jonathan is also cheating, though he’s much more blatant about it, brows furrowed as he stares her down.

“If you’re going to count cards like your old man, you should be less obvious about it.” Daisy huff, peering a second time at her hand. A two and a ten aren’t bad at all. “Hit me.”

“Old man?” Bouchard cries, but she’s become well practiced at tuning him out by now. The boy blinks owlishly, head tilted in confusion. “I’m not counting cards, that takes too long and has a chance of failure. I just thought you’d be more-” He wobbles his hand and shrugs. But she really is glad for the tension the boy carries, the pronounced frown, the cowlick Bouchard occasionally attempts to smooth down. It helps to offset the sense of wrong, the unease that has been writhing beneath her skin.

“Scary? I don’t make a habit of spooking kids,” she says wryly, before adopting a sly smile, “only monsters.” Well, she’d like to at least.

But Jon goes very still, like a mouse who senses an owl's gaze. Bouchard wraps an arm around his son, encouraging him to curl into his side, and all of a sudden the cabin goes very, very cold.

“How would you define a ‘monster’ Officer Tonner?” Bouchard asks. She knows now, where the kid gets that unsettling quality, the unnerving placidness, and those piercing eyes.

“A monster is-” She remembers that lipless and scabby mouth, pitch black tongues and whispered curses, and her scar burns. “-it’s something that doesn’t know when to stop, something that takes and takes and takes. A void that can never be filled and never be seen by a casual observer.”

“I see.” And then he smiles, bright and sparkling and warm as he slides her a king. “Anyway, I do believe that’s a bust Miss Tonner.”

And as Jonathan folds at fourteen, and Bouchard reveals his eighteen, she thinks she can see how this man could have committed murder.

#abitc #abitc verse #I'm just excited to fiddle with outsider pov even if it's a complete pain in the ass to figure out characterization #Og Elias does not have spooky powers. His Charisma stat is just stupidly high and the man used Intimidate to great affect #Jon-- Jon is in a constant state of #These people are completely different 20 years into the future.#And then gets slapped in the face by instances that throw him to his worst memories #When I finish the proper version of this I'll post Supplementals 3 as well I think #tma #I originally wrote this just to get the brainrot out. But I liked it too much conceptually and now I have a whole oneshot #I'm not sure what the actual title will be when posted #though I do thinking 'pushing daisies' is suitably punny but not quite in line with the series naming scheme

this is a moodboard for how my brain has been feeling the past couple weeks. yes i spent like 10 minutes organizing these pictures if that tells u anything about how im feeling

#not that anyone asked but it's bc my adderall rx changed a month ago from extended release to short release #bc the extended release was making me feel super anxious in the afternoon when it would start to wear off #which is obviously counterproductive and i am already anxiety-inclined if that's even a phrase #so ive been on the short release version of adderall for the last month and overall it was going a lot better #the anxiety in the afternoon pretty much disappeared which was nice #the past like three weeks tho ive been dealing with being unable to stop picking at my skin and cuticles too #which is something ive struggled with since middle school in various degrees and tho it was getting better in the past couple years #ive never struggled with it LESS than i have since starting adderall in like march. and my god. what a joy and relief that was #so now that it's started happening again it's honestly pretty upsetting bc it's kinda physically painful and also just rly embarrassing #like i dont even have that bad acne probably but being unable to stop picking at it makes it like ten times worse #like i haven't had acne on my back in like three years since i finished taking accutane #and in the past three weeks i have but it's rly only bc i can't stop scratching at it and so there's gonna be scarring too #it's just very embarrassing and also disappointing nd disheartening since i was finally able to NOT have to deal with this for a few months #it's appalling and upsetting to realize that this was just my life for like a decade before i got treatment for adhd #and once i did it a lot of my impulsive and unconscious skin picking pretty much disappeared.#like damn bro the amount of times my mom and everyone in my family told me how nice my skin would be if i could just leave it alone. yeah.#anyway. im gonna talk to the doctor about this next month when i get my refill obviously bc i am not having a good time #even tho this was working rly great for the first three weeks. like whyyyy can't medicine just work. whyyy #anywayyyy if u read all this no u didnt bc it's embarrassing for me lol #i just felt the need to talk about it cause it's been upsetting me today

#so we needed to finish a game uni provided and from there we're meant to add our own touches and make it our own #to which stupidly i thought that meant i could choose to not include certain elements and add new things instead #I N C O R R E C T i must leave in all the elements/assets we were given and shake it up to make it mine #which seems kinda redundant and not very creative?#so i'm missing half the stuff required because i've made alternate and more complex versions of what we were given rather than use it as is #and i don't have time to add this in considering this was due almost 2 weeks ago hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa #anyway on top of that i was on a ROLL last night putting stuff together but today something happened and now it won't work like it did #and it autosaves so i can't go back or undo too far #havin a great time #personal #me ranting

So, either the thing I heard about the DexNav having a fixed encountered rate was true, despite both Serrebi and Bulbapedia saying that the chain does matter; or I got REALLY lucky. Either way, it's finally come home!

I've been hunting for this thing for about a week at this point. I screwed up the chain and was working on building it back up. But not even 5 encounters in, I finally found the shiny. I think I even have some time to get some ribbons on it before the 3DS online service shuts down.

Pokemon Bank should still be open despite everything else shutting down in less than a week. But who knows how long? I was hoping to get this hunt done sooner rather than later just to be on the safe side.

I might even have enough time to squeeze in that Corsla hunt as well... we'll see.
