maybe this is an unpopular opinion but yes while rowena becoming queen of hell was sexy of her it didnt fit in her arc.

bc her whole deal is that she tries to gain power so she can stop being afraid and feeling weak, right? and she stops doing that as she's redeemed, right? and by season 15 shes so far from it that she would willingly join team free will and SACRIFICE HERSELF TO SAVE THE WORLD, RIGHT????

im reading/listening to TNP now and its interesting how a lot of fanon like.. reverses barley and ravenpaw's personalities? not exactly reversed but like, in fanon usually barley is the outgoing friendly one while ravenpaw is anxious and quiet. but when the sundrown journey gang stay at the barn ravenpaw is the one who's super sociable, friendly, and confident, while barley is pretty reserved and avoids the visitors for the most part. he's not unfriendly but ravenpaw actually says he doesn't like being around other cats. (also the audiobook narrator gives ravenpaw a super deep voice which i found hilarious) i dont think i necessarily prefer one over the other but i think its an interesting result of how much the first book leaves an impact on people, everyone remembers ravenpaw as "the scared guy" LOL
