So I was thinking about Makino and the ASL brothers, as one does, and please imagine the following: Makino brings clothes for the boys. They each chose their own. She comes back some days later and Sabo and Ace are fighting over whose shirt it is and these pants are mine and I'm the oldest if I say it's mine then it is and your typical siblings fight. Makino thinks they're very cute and also the situation is funny but to stop the argument she simply starts writing their name on the tags of their clothes — littles Ace and Sabo (and Luffy so he wouldn't feel excluded).

They all keep the habit afterwards ❤️

Alternatively, I was thinking about it because the Revolutionary Army got Sabo's name thanks to it being written on the tag of his clothes, and was wondering why it was here.

guuuuuurl i have to get this off my chest - I've been talking to this older guy online (no not Badj) he also does the adult VA stuff and he's very good and reasonably well-known. but that's on the side, he's a software developer as his day job and he's so damn cute. like a giant bear, he has a large female audience who coo over him but I mean that's understandable so I'm not jealous but I am a bit? I'm being stupid it's not like he and I are dating, but ... I invited him to a Halloween party last night, I got absolutely drunk (still alright and not messy drunk but you know, a bit unstable on the feet and I was so social where I'm more reserved usually). HE WAS SUCH A SWEETHEART, he kept holding my hips and guiding me through the party and sat me down on his lap outside next to the pool, caressing my back and THAT DAMN VOICE WHISPERING PRAISES AND COMPLIMENTS IN MY EAR DAMN I WAS FERAL. but he said we shouldn't do anything because I'm so drunk, he was proper drunk too though. but no I got so worked up because he's got such a dad bod but like super hot, muscular arms and all - amazing legs ... and he kept pulling me closer on his lap and kissing my neck ... BUT, one of my guy friends came running up to us - super drunk - and he kept talking to me and ignoring him and asked if I wanted to go to the second party with him because we always have a good time and he needs someone who drinks on his pace. THEN THIS MANS GRIP TIGHTENED ON MY HIPS AND HIS VOICE DEEPENED AND WAS LIKE, "we already have plans for after this." but alas, long story short, he got pissed at me because he thought my friend and I were together and he didn't wanna believe otherwise so basically he just LEFT and my baby boo bear hasn't been replying my messages even if he's online - I have been PLAYED BY A MAN 15 YEARS OLDER THAN I ?! I'm so dumb 😭😭😭. I have an important project due tomorrow but I keep checking my phone and checking his socials 😭.

so sorry - I just needed to rant because I can't tell my friends about this, even if I'm in my 20s they'd freak out that he's in his late 30s.

on the off chance that he actually suddenly replies and tells you that he had an emergency or... something that stopped him from replying today, yes sure you can give him another chance but remember that even then—instead of communicating—he left you at the party. he also acknowledged that you were so drunk that you shouldn't do anything together, but apparently in his eyes you weren't drunk enough to not be left behind?? yeah you were with your friends, but I just absolutely love men who are protective and possessive but have no issue just dropping you the second they get their feelings hurt over their inability to communicate and trust their partners.

I'm sorry if this is too harsh and too straight forward. I just... I feel so shitty for you? I'm so sorry. you don't deserve to be treated like this. you really do not, and hey—based on what you've told me you absolutely did nothing wrong. you're not dumb. he made you feel special and wanted. it is not naive or stupid to want and need that. I am so, so sorry that he took advantage of that, but please know that this is not on you. 💗

i am so frustrated by people who dont seem to understand that the amagis are ainu.

like sure, part of it is that the story itself is often not the best about it, because the !! main story conflates their ethnicity with some weird vague idea of old traditional values that are “bad” and that doesn’t really work in a narrative sense! because while Hiiro is struggling against the mindset that his only value is as Rinne’s second (ie the bad traditional values) his story is also about trying to find a middle ground in existing in the es as an idol and being indigenous - which is very very important to him!!!! the part where Rinne disowns him is often read as just Hiiro losing the framework of where his place is in the world, but it is very specifically him also losing his identity. his family and village and ethnic background is very very important to Hiiro and people wouldn’t downplay this so much if they just remembered that he. is. indigenous.

this ramble is already a bit long so i’m not going into Rinne’s side of it but it is similarly often forgotten by fans how his story is about a person who thinks the only way he can have value in this world is by renouncing his heritage and assimilating. and the fact that he basically canonically has a gambling addiction is either played for jokes or totally downplayed like ohh he is just trying to get money for his friends. like no! he is struggling and while a gacha game of all things will not admit this, fans should!!

finally found a place to read With the Light online and i'm thrilled; if you haven't read this manga i do Legitimately recommend it

#N posts stuff #like don't get it wrong it Is Not a series about being autistic it Is a series about raising an autistic kid #but also don't be put off by that because it's legitimately a series that I feel Loves autistic people with its whole being #it's kind of a teaching manga so it showcases a lot of different opinions/characters/conflicts/etc. but the Framing is very consistent #in that the manga is Extremely of the opinion that autistic people are People who deserve to be Valued and Accepted As They Are #the onus for change is never put on autistic individuals the framing is basically Universal in the 'the World needs to change #to be more accepting' -- it's a very Social Model depiction of autism that ALSO never veers too far into the #'autism isn't even Really a disability' fallacy; it's very much a 'A lot of autistic people will need constant support in a variety of ways #throughout their lives but that isn't the roadblock preventing them from having their own lives; ableism in society is the roadblock'#the first two chapters are the hardest to get through bc they take place before Sachiko has any real understanding of autism and #so she's isolated and stressed out and the ignorance makes it difficult for her to care for Hikaru properly (there's also a lot of #other characters Blaming her for what's going on which goes unchallenged at this point though that changes later); but after she #understands what autism is she's Firmly in Hikaru's corner for the rest of the series - you can skip right to ch 3 without a problem #if you're not interested in reading about that initial conflict #there's still a Lot of conflict ofc but by then the chapters have some of my favorite moments so i don't want to advocate skipping #them; like Hikaru's daycare teacher explaining how Hikaru's difficulty speaking is the same as other kids' troubles with #things like jump-roping/etc.; and then a mother who has An Issue with Hikaru's presence in her daughter's class realizing the #depth of the problematic opinion bc Her mother (who had a stroke) faces similar ableism from her peers #i'm cutting this post off b4 the tags get Too long but if you're curious but still hesitant man. send me an ask and i will Happily #write an insanely long essay about how much i love this series; i have all the books i'm not excited about the online availability #for Me i'm excited bc i've been wanting to rec this manga for like almost a full decade and i can finally give you a link instead of #saying 'well. you can find used copies sometimes' lol

♥️Kid uses those collars/bracelets that are put on with a lock and you will never see the key as long as you live because he likes having something on you at all times that he can use to tug you around with using his devil fruit♥️Wire definitely likes to toy with you by coming up behind you and holding a knife to your throat or a gun to your head because even though you both know he’s skilled enough with weapons to not cause any accidental harm he still likes the way you can’t help but shake with fear as to how far he’s planning on going with it♥️Heat seems like someone who would pull a trick such as letting you stay with him when the others are scaring you, but what are you going to give him in exchange for being so kind? He thinks maybe he’d be inclined to let you stay a bit longer in exchange for perhaps just a kiss? Or would you rather him throw you back out to the wolves?♥️You mentioned Killer being one of the people who controls what you wear, and he would probably enjoy dressing you up and style you like his own little doll just so he can order you to sit still while he takes plenty of photos to use as both a shaming tactic as well as new material for his spank bank (though he’d never admit that part out loud)♥️lastly I could see at least one of you getting their Jolly Roger tattooed on you either on an intimate place like a tramp stamp or right above the pubic bone or somewhere that every one can see like the side of the neck or upper back depending on who ultimately makes the best case for their preferred placement♥️

anon, these are delicious headcanons.

TW: drugging, forced dolification, harrassment, knife/trident usage to cause harm and blood

when you're first brought onto the ship, Kid forces you to wear thick metal handcuffs that can only be unlocked with his devil fruit or if you cut your hands off (which he doubts you would do just to get away from them). but as you're around longer and he grows more attached, Kid starts up a collection of handmade necklaces and bracelets for you. the collar you mentioned anon would be silver and has various small red stones, like rubies, intwined within them. if it wasn't a reminder of his cruelty and being trapped on this ship, it would be quite romantic. thus, the collar has to remain on you at all times unless you need to shower (in which case he's there just watching) and the only time he brings out the key is when you're unconscious.

Wire is cruel, arguably more cruel than Kid himself when it comes to his punishments and fantasies. he delights in nothing more than watching the pure terror in your eyes and the way your knees shake as he tortures you. he'll go to drastic measures to get his desired reactions and nothing works better than the panicked pleas that are offered to him the second he holds his trident to your neck, just pricking the skin and trailing small lines of bloods down it. the creepy bastard will respond with just licking up the blood and laughing to himself when you legs give way underneath you and he has to catch you. Wire knows you hate it when he torments you with his weapon collection, but he doesn't really care.

it's easy to overlook the way Heat uses the situation you're trapped in to his advantage. after all, with the way you're so focused on keeping yourself safe around the others it natural that you would underestimate Heat. Heat who is always more kind to you than the others, Heat that tells Wire to knock it off when he's being so cruel to you in front of him, reminds Killer that you need to eat and brings you gifts of things he knows you'd like. it's only fair after all he does that you thank him by accepting his advances. it'll start small, with him asking for a small kiss on the lips but each time you hide out in his room he'll ask for more and more.

the first time Kid deemed you well behaved enough for your own room (fitted with a lock that only they had the keys to and a transponder snail camera in the corner), Killer had forced you over to the large wardrobe in the corner. full of a wide selection clothes that Killer had tailored to fit your measurements which he took whilst you were drugged out. the clothes are expensive either stolen or handmade, things you wouldn't have been able to afford before. but with this new wardrobe and your own space comes rules. one of these being that Killer gets to pick what you wear for the day. so everyday you have to sit pretty in the room and try on every single item handed to you whilst he helps because "you're too weak to do that yourself, give it to me". then you have to let Killer pose you so he can take lots and lots of photos. except, some of those outfits he has you try on are less than appropriate and he delights in the embarrassed, shy looks you give the camera, making a mental note to use those photos later as he gets off. but be careful, if you don't listen to him, those photos could end up anywhere and with anyone.

now for the tattoo of the Jolly Roger, i think it would be suggested by either Kid or Wire. they're the only two who would originally dream up some way to permanently mark you as theirs and give you a reminder of your new life. for Wire, it would be a way of torturing you with a permanent reminder. for Kid, it would because of his possessiveness and a need to mark you for others who may want to look at you to long. but since Wire and Kid would bring the idea to the table, Heat and Killer would take it upon themselves to choose the spot. they'd be torn between choosing your back or your hip, wanting the tattoo to be in a spot where they can choose if people see it or not. eventually they'd probably choose one of your hips and pick an area where it won't hurt as much or risk leaving permanent damage (Heat's request). i can see Wire originally wanting you to be awake for it, but Killer having absolutely none of that since he doesn't want to deal with you struggling and potentially ruining it. so you'd probably get drugged with Heat sitting beside you the entire time, holding your hand and reassuring you that you'll be fine.

Ok so what IS going on with Misty and the whole Neo thing? You've never mentioned a ghost before

I thought I'd mentioned Nox before, but I guess I haven't. That's on me. But basically Nox is the ghost that's been infecting Misty and causing her hands to go black, which is the root source of how she turned into Neo in the first place. Danny and co. don't really know that that's the reason and think it has something to do with her powers and her fire being too hot for her body to handle.

I know I've shared a few drawings of Neo. This beautiful maniac.

It's Misty, as you might be able to see, but... well, possessed isn't really the right words because she's fully conscious of what she's doing. She's more like brainwashed or the infection has sort of driven her insane.

But yeah, Nox is the ghost that's the cause of all the drama. I don't really have a proper design for him yet, but the concept so far is that he's like Hexxus from FernGully (if you've watched that movie).

Anyway, I can go deeper into detail, too, if you'd like. But that would spoil a lot more than what I've already said. And since I'm writing this story now on Ao3, I'm kind of iffy on whether I should keep quiet on certain parts or if I should just keep on going the way I've been going, since I've technically spoiled the whole story already with the amount of stuff I've posted (I just haven't written it out in a cohesive narrative yet, so it might not be easy to put the storyline together).

But yeah, that's who Nox is and what's really going on with Misty and Neo.

What are you gonna do when it's done...... start from the beginning again?

i do have some plans after i am caught up with season 3!

when the anime screencaps are finished, i will be taking a brief hiatus purely for superficial reasons (i am doing all in my power to extend this blog's life skdjfnskd)

when i return, i plan to post other official images that have been released. this currently includes key animation, official art and illustrations made by staff

there is also the fanbook, although i am unsure how i want to approach that at this time (if i recall there was backlash to having it shared online; if that is how people feel i want to honour that)

after everything i find has been posted, i usually stick around to either make new posts whenever more tome's are released, or i'd reblog old posts celebrating character birthdays. if you see that i missed any tome's, i also take submissions! while this is pretty quiet, i'd like to think the blog is never truly done

yet in all this time running every-tome i never thought of restarting before! if people are interested, i can consider it!

Hi! I've seen some of your posts about mairuma and from other fandoms. I got curious to know what your opinion is on Mairuma in general. you write a lot! That's amazing. I'm not asking for long answer that can consume a lot of your precious time but I'd love to know who your favourite character (s) is, favourite ships, theories, arcs, expectations and any such things in regarding mairuma. Thanks in advance ☺️

Okay let's do this.

So my opinion/s on Mairuma, let's start with the main boy himself.

Like most anime protags, he is selfless and kind, which is nice. But unlike most anime protags, he is like that for a very unique reason.

Iruma in and of himself is kind, that's just who he is, an inherent part of him. But selflessness isn't. Selflessness isn't a choice for Iruma, it's something that he believes is expected of him at all times. He doesn't know any better, he truly believes that if it comes down to him or anyone else, Literally anyone else takes priority. No matter WHO that anyone else might be.

And I love the show because while it's nice that Iruma is kind and selfless sometimes, almost everyone in the show tells him in one way or another, that it's okay, and needed, for him to be selfish sometimes.

His teachers scold him for not calling them when he's in trouble, Azz-Azz tells him how important he is all the time, and I don't really have to tell you how down his Grandpa is for selfishness sometimes.

Now that I think of it, it's not even really selfishness, it's simply knowing his own worth.

Funnily enough, Iruma himself believes that people need to learn to say no, he meets Clara and tells her he doesn't need her to give him things for him to be her friend, and a true friend wouldn't need that.

The very first time Iruma asked Azz-Azz for something, he asked him to help Clara, to talk to the demons that were bothering her, so he knows it's okay to need to put yourself first, he just can't apply that to himself because of past trauma, and that's just such a new and fresh take, I couldn't help but love this series.

And initially, I started watching the series because I saw a clip of when Iruma first met Sullivan.

And I'm a sucker for found family troupes, and Slightly-Kidnapped family sounded pretty funny so I decided to watch an episode.

And the more I watched, the more I loved. I was hooked!

The suspense of having to keep his human origins secret?

The "I beat you up so now we're friends" happening accidentally and being taken in a hilariously literal way??

The encouragement to strive towards a Goal???

More and More of the Misfit Class getting introduced until we could instantly recognize them and their individual personalities and seeing them each as having a place in the show????

The best Girl Clara Valac?????

THE CHARACTER GROWTH?!?!?!?

It's absolute perfection!!!!

I'm so excited for more! And it has a way of me both wanting more and being content with what I've got.

I want to know the backstory and I'm okay if this just continues to be Iruma's story without delving to deep into what happened with the previous demon king.

I want to see the prophecy completed and I'm okay if that happens to not be Iruma.

I want to see Iruma's scumbag parents get their comeuppance and I'm okay if we never see them again because they're not important to Iruma anymore, he's left them in the past where they belong.

You could ask me about almost any character and I could give ample reason as to why I LOVE them so much!

In fact, do! Tell people to send their fav in and I'll ramble for as long as I can! There is 1 exception to this rule but what are the chances they get sent in? lmao

My favorite Ship? To be perfectly honest? I don't really ship anyone, I think it's because they're all kids rn and I'm more into platonic relationships, but I don't dislike most of the ships I've seen.

The only one I see as a ship would probably be Balam-Sensei and Eggy-Teach.

They're just the IT couple of Bablys.

My favorite character is Andro M. Jazz.

Big brother types hit me where I live, I always wanted a big brother like that, instead I got five different flavors of Andro M. Rock. -_-

Jazz's Big Brother complex is one of the cutest fucking things I've ever seen my GOSH! I love that out of all the demons in the Misfit class, he's the big brother of the group, followed by Gaap and then Iruma as decided during the after party scene.

I love all the Misfit Class though, send me Your fav and I can expand upon thusly.

Theories? Only one, Alikred is the Previous demon king Derkila, either his soul, his magic, or actually all of him that's been sealed away in the Ring of Gluttony.

I mean come on, his name is literally Derkila spelled backwards. In the anime, he and the demon king have the Same FREAKING VOICE ACTOR! So either it's him or he's one hell of a fanboy. Which I can respect.

Also I love that we as the fandom have Eiko Oni as the Stand-In for what would happen if any of us ever met anyone in the show, God bless her Bi Soul, we're proud to have her in our ranks.

I feel like that's too much rambling and don't wanna make you wait any longer, so I'ma cut it off here, but know this.

hello! hope this doesnt sound weird, but how exsctly do you check the ol: n&f code??:0 ive been curious about if 4 a while

Hi there! And don't worry, it doesn't sound weird at all!

Since the game is made using renpy, you can check the code the same way you do it with other renpy games. There are a number of guides that you can find about it online, but here's a quick summary from me:

In renpy games, the scripts and other game assets are usually stored in archive.rpa or any rpa files, so you need to extract them from there if you want to see them. I use unren.bat to do this because it's simpler, but there are other ways and tools out there that achieve the same result.

Once you extract the data, you will find a lot of rpyc files. These are compiled scripts that are used to run the game. There are sites where you can view these kind of files online, but they will just look like gibberish if you try to open them normally. If you want to see the script as it is, you need to decompile the rypc to rpy (you can do this with unren too).

And that's it. Our life is moment-based, so the game script is separated in different rpy files and named after the moments they're about (eg. prologue, fireflies, etc.). You can open the rpy files with any text editing softwares like word or notepad, but I use vs code so it's easier to differentiate the actual game script from the codes.

With that being said, please be mindful with the act of decompiling games!

As far as I'm aware, gb patch is cool with players cracking the game open and making mods of it, but this might not be the case with other games. Always make sure you have the creator's permission before decompiling a game, read the license or ask the creator directly if you're not 100% sure!

It's so funny cause my friend who's writing her first ever fanfic inspired by a different fanfic I mentioned to her? She is insisting I edit it for her to make it sound as natural as possible because "[I was] the one who have [her] the idea!" Despite me trying so hard to tell her to just write what she wants

So, I guess when she eventually posts the fic it'll be both of us who worked on it

Which OC is a chaotic-neutral, if you have one

Oooh, interesting question! :D

The OC that immediately springs to mind is Jois. Probably the best example of all my OCs for chaotic neutrality.

Wallace and Oliver are also two good examples, though Wallace has some true neutral leanings while Oliver can be chaotic evil on his bad days.

Henry and Li Ming are rather chaotic neutral, though I'd argue that their true alignment is lawful good, and are just chaotic neutral due to their unfortunate life circumstances.

Two other OCs that also come to mind are Percy and Serftin, but those two are more chaotic good than neutral.
