I wonder if Blue Period ever went into the backstory of Kuwana Maki in detail even though apparently Yakum0 is getting his backstory revealed in an upcoming volume…. It’s always “ah Yatora x Y0tasuk3 is so cute together and they help eachother grow” but come to think of it, didn’t Maki give Yatora multiple motivational chats and helped him turn his perspective around on self-care in art school?

*in medical dramas*
Doctor who never seems to leave patient's general vicinity: His blood pressure's dropping, he's crashing!! *intense music and people rushing around and alarms blaring with fancy disco lights flashing*
*in real life*
Me, minding my own business, hearing an alarm beep to indicate hypotension: *grumbling as I get up for the fifth time to go back into the room and adjust blood pressure IV medication* Gosh darn it Steve stop misbehaving, this is just downright rude.

Sometimes I really get sick of having an invisible disability.

Yes, bitch. Are dysautonomia related stuff off limits to younger people, just because I can have "good" days?
Am I faking feeling faint? Am I faking constantly feeling like a ghost? Always having to think five times and take it easy even for such a basic thing like standing up? Not being able to tell if my heart is actually racing or if it's a panic attack?
Knowing that exercise would help me, but not even having the energy for the walk to the fucking bathroom?
Having a constant low key headache? Starting to feel afraid of going to places because of "what if I faint again"? Having trouble deciding whether or not I should take the meds, or which dose, because it depends on the circumstances I can't always guess?
Perfect bonus of having it together with also a metabolic disorder?
Sure, I totally love making it all up and being "dramatic", because you saw me ride my bicycle long distance.
Fuck you.

Can people stop treating autism like some horrible illness and start realizing that most autistic kids aren't suffering because they're autistic, but because they're bullied not only by peers, but parents? If you want to woobify us autistic people, imagine how sad it makes you feel to have your own mom as your first bully because sometimes loud sounds are too much for you. The problem isn't us, it's the world we live in not caring to accommodate us. Speaking as a person who was kicked off an "inclusive" team for "lack of communication and disability." I had one time I couldn't talk because I'm verbalflux.
They knew that.
Inclusive, my ass.
(This is just my experience, autism is a spectrum, don't kill me if you've had a different experience, rather, I'd like to hear about it!)

personal 2023 highlights!!!!:
started teaching myself how to make a video game!!!!!
tho it still needs work, i started learning different line art techniques
did a whole week of kuukou art and i’m pretty proud of the final products lol
learned to make a simple ice cream from scratch
sonic frontiers the final horizon changed the trajectory of my entire life
met mito youhei from slam dunk 🫶
rhyme anima s2 depicted kuukou in a way that didn’t fill me with dread every week lmao
kikoku from rhyme anima 🫰
hypstage may have ended but it gave us one of the best lives this year, stage bb won their championship, i got my ideal 2nd drb finals thru them, and they kept putting out banger after banger with each rep live they were so powerful 😔🙏
found a goal to try and work on and started working full time hours to achieve it ✌️
#this is vee speaking#where’s the hypstage fan questionaire i want an excuse to ramble about stage stuff i occasionally think about lmao#i only really felt productive towards the end of the year like that’s when i discovered new goals#but that is mostly because original plans i was working towards never became available lmao#but i’m having fun planning shit now comes the adjustment period as i figure out how to make it happen with a new schedule lol#this wasn’t the biggest year for kuukou but we got plenty i think!!!!!!!!#besides the anime we got get busy and kuukou was a subtle but important factor in the bp story#bat’s rep live was legendary for a multitude of reasons#stage kuukou was primarily in charge of the hype in bop2023 which was sick to see (go off hirono-san 💜)#and for the 6th anniversary party they let hayama-san drop the biggest news of the event and he did so with kuukou flare 💜#2023 was a fun year personally!!!!!!!! i learned a lot about myself as well that’s a little bit more positive than previous years lol
