2) “Oh that seems familiar… A darker reprise of a symbol of hope, corrupted into evil.”-Exactly as AFO intended the Symbol of Fear to be.

10) “I`m still flabbergasted that some Nomus survived the reaping, I thought that the awakening of Shigaraki was truly The End of everything, but alas, things are far more grim than that. Holy fuck he can fine tune his erasure what the fuck.
I mean, he did made that platform when he destroyed everything, and since he got X-Crotch`s cape after killing him- I just assumed he stole the cape then killed him, but now I`m starting to think he just left the cape behind.

I haven`t solved the driver problem, my WiFi is still suddenly dying on me, but it has became rarer, which means I have a window of opportunity to take before the computer starts throwing a hissyfit again, so, let`s take it!
Bnha time, and just as the backup showed up to save the day. Aizawa has stepped in the fray and changed the rules of the game, and now it`s time to see his inevitable demise. It`s gonna be a tragic chapter once Shigaraki gets shigadone with his ass. And with that said, let`s jump in, on Chapter 276: You Cheated...!

So is the little villain au DFO? If so, it's hilarious to imagine AFO's reaction when he tracks down this new upstart villain who's been making a nightmare for the HPSC (good) but hasn't paid proper homage to him (bad), only to find out its his adorable five year old, founding a new criminal empire already! They grow up so fast! Now he can have all sorts of new daddy son experiences!
Yeah this is basically what happened, at first All for One thought someone was using Izuku because his son was five, but nope, Izuku did it all on his own. You can imagine the whiplash All for One got from finding this out, for a man that has seen everything that was a first. Although how I imagined them meeting changed this was originally the prompt for it:
All for One had been struggling through a unnecessarily hard process of meeting the boss of a growing villainess organisation, that seems to know how everything goes before it happens. But no matter how much All for One tried, the members refuse to let him have any contact with their leader. It isn't until after he forces his way into one of the organisations strong holds and finally come face to face with their mysterious leader did he realise why they been so relucted.
"What's wrong?" A four year old with green curly hair, and freckles yawned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Having just woken up from his afternoon nap, something he couldn't escape from these days.
All for One stared down at his four old son, sleepily tumble off his bed, blanket still in hand. "Oh" All for One whispered, not quite sure if he should be proud or angry, so he chose surprised instead.

I know it's not official so grain of salt; but this is really sus that AFO knows that
A) Bakugou grew up watching All might winning and wanting to be just like him (to win).
B) The fact that he also knows that Bakugou was blinded by his ego, instead of what Tomura though of before was that Bakugou was oppressed in hero society.
And C) AFO knows that Bakugou feared being in Izuku shadow no matter how hard he tried to be stronger then Izuku.
it's disturbing that AFO knows so much about Bakugou fears that have stemmed from his childhood, and considering that Bakugou was friends with the doctors grandson, I have a feeling AFO been keeping an eye on Bakugou for a lot longer then realises.

Sure!
Some more funny facts over this:
-Despite being a five year old boy who looks like a cinnamon roll that could kill you, Nagant find Izuku miles better then her old employees and becomes the wine aunt group.
-She convinces Hawks to join them via hot gossip, chicken wings and the joint power of flipping off the commission together.
-All for One follows around Izuku when the boy is doing his jobs, so you have little pre-school Izuku running around trying to set up an organisation with All for One chilling in the background, occasionally helping Izuku reach tall places.
-This backfires one day when they run into All Might at the shops.
-Izuku stops Toya from exploding into flames by spraying water on him every time he burst into flames.
-Toya follows Izuku soon after, he say it's because of the fire resistance quirk he got, but Toya also set Izuku up to play with Shoto every now and again, so yeah.
-When AFO finds out Izuku ate the replica of his quirk to get it, he never lets the child live it down.
-Izuku also takes quirks from AFO, but never anyone else, he get's them ethically, like a good kid, AFO the exception.
-Izuku meets Tomura and humbles him real fast, but then Tomura also basically adopts Izuku as his little brother
-Inko is has an interesting backstory in this AU.
-Izuku doesn't know All for One is his dad, everyone else guess it five minutes into seeing them together.
-Doctor Ujiro and Izuku hate each others guts, but unfortunately the Doc is the only one who can treat the All for One quirk and Izuku injuries.
-Izuku lowkey ditches bakugou because there are more pressing matters and bakugou actually misses Izuku.
-Izuku really underestimates learning to control All for One the quirk.

Izuku travels back in time fix it AU...with a twist.
11 pm idea that hit me one night (might have been done before but hey, here's my turn at the idea) Izuku is transported back into his Five year old self, and has the chance to do everything all over again; and makes things right this time...
But there are several problems getting in the way of saving everyone, namely that he's a quirkless five year old, that has none of his friends, allies or strength he had in his teens. All of them don't know he exist, plus half of them are toddlers. There's also a lot of stuff that won't happen until much later, not to mention he isn't sure how a lot of stuff came to be. He has no idea how Dabi survived were toga grew up, and Tomura has already killed his family four years prior and is living somewhere with All for One.
He knows won't get OFA until he's fifteen, and he's not even sure he might this time around. Because changing history means that All Might won't get injured and never have a reason to pass it on. Getting it when he's four would be impossible since he's young, and because people might not believe him when he say's he from the future, and can he blame them?
So after thinking over all the options, Izuku decides that if he can't be a hero, then he's going to be a villain...or at least pretend to be one so that he can stop the villains before they become huge threats. Basically Izuku decides to fight fire with fire, which he cranks up to 100 because he know a way to get a strong power that could go toe to toe with All for One and the person to go to get it from.
So Izuku sneaks into All for One doctors office and get's a hold of the replica of All for One quirk, with added hijinks. Now Izuku my have the replica nicely stored away in a glass tube, but he doesn't know how to acquire it... so he just decides to eat it because it worked the first time.
It's not meant to work like that, but for Izuku it does, after falling sick for like three days. Because eating a quirk wasn't the best idea. But who cares Izuku now got All for One, foresight on future events and his New villain career to kick off at the ripe old age of five.
And boy does he go off with a bang, by breaking Nagant out of Tartarus (Izuku needed a body guard, and Nagant was innocent), convincing hawks to run away from the HC (it was Nagant idea really) and recruiting the number two hero eldest son (Well Toya more recruited himself) among other things.
This unsurprisingly, this get's All for One's attention, but Izuku sure that he won't get caught because who would expect "quirkless five year old Deku" to the the next be up and coming villain? Apparently All for One, because the guy awkwardly walks in to his preschool one day, picks him up and is both quite shocked and amused to find this villain, that's been causing the Hero commission so much strife, is just a four year old boy.
Izuku thinks this might be the end, but instead of snipping of this bud before it grow, All for One decides he'll let Izuku keep doing what he's doing, because the whole things amusing. Except Izuku still "only a baby, not quite a big bad villain yet" so All for One will be "probably supervising" Izuku growth into villainy.
Izuku doesn't know weather to yell in joy at getting a one up on All for One or scream in anguish that now he's got the worst villain in the world making him his personal pet project.
Izuku decides to burn that bridge when he get's there.
I have more of this AU if anyone wants to know about it, but just baby toddler villain Izuku getting followed around by his older villain father, during his first errands. All dress up in his preschool uniform carry several books on "how to commit crimes and get away with it" well telling AFO to buzz off.

I have a question for chapter 276. The panel shows the Todoroki family except for Endeavor. Why is that?
You're talking about that panel, right?
It's happening in the middle of the war arc, just as the heroes are trying to prevent Shigaraki from making another decaying wave. This page allows to present a juxtaposition between the heroes fighting for their lives and their family members (respectively Shouto's sister, Izuku's mom, Bakugou's mom, Shouto's mom, Shouto's brother and Izuku's dad), who are away, safe, and most of them don't even suspect that nothing is wrong.
Endeavor isn’t shown, either because he is in Jakku, really aware of the incoming apocalypse and right next to Shouto, or because Shouto doesn’t care about him. Your pick!

So serious talk, 277 and 278 were like fever dream. While I like the plot point of basicly regression to the starting line it diminishes all and any character development exept for the people that time traveled.
It is fun in theory but the execution in the key to making ir all stick together. I am not talking about logical inconsistencies, while there are many I would lake to focus on the tragedy of ending that we got.
The TakeHina marriage and overall relationship. From start it was a little janky. Are we supposed to belive that Takemichi as his 26 year old self in in love with his 14 y/o gf from middle school? It is not the problem of sus age difference it is the real connection between them. I have no doubts that in original timeline (not the Shinichiro original but the start of manga original) and any timeline before 277 Hina realy loved Takemichi, she had basic plot relavent reason for it. He saved her despite his crybaby self Hina admired his courage and later liked him as a person. But as for Takemichy? He likes her because she encourages, hepls him, is kind and preety???? From start she was a plot device to get this story going. Than due to Kissaki it evolved it Takemichy's quest to save every bich he stumbles upon. TakeHina lost it's significance a little but at that plint it was fine. Wakui had to just leave this as it it and it would have been ok I guess.
But than enter Sano Manjiro and his goofy ass. I sm not even sure where Wakui went with him. Was it the arc of acceptance? Friendship? Lost family? Found family? Revenge on yourself? Cycle of violence? The weight of one's actions? What was the point of Mikey's actions after Tenjuku arc? Just naratively speaking? In any of the above examples story failed to portray to show them.
But more on Takemichy|Mikey relationship. This is just straight up weird decision on weird decision. I will not get into detail here if you are interested read my side note on bnha and Shonen stories ""interesting"" relationship portrayal.
In anyway I am going to be directly and short as possible, after 276 and into 277 the TakeHina for me is just gone. We know nothing that happend in those 20+ years, especially that "saving" plot point. What did Michy and Mikey exactly change? All those characters and their lifes are now just a sentence and a few frames in manga. For story that had such a heavy weight on characters their life and connections it is a real let down.
I like Tokyo revengers and it will stay one of my faves despite weird decision along the way and the last arcs. I am just a little sad. I saw potential for it to be an amazing story but now people will mostly remember TR as mid.

It`s gonna be a tragic chapter once Shigaraki gets shigadone with his ass.”-Aizawa’s OP power being offset by his physical abilities being at best obove averge in a world of supermen is a neat balancer – and him being already badly wounded before facing shigaraki further compounds his limited effectiveness outside shutting down his Quirks to somewhat even the field, as Aizawa can’t even effectively protect himself or move without assistance.
2) “Oh yeah, you guys better not get any closer to the actual calamity taking place a few blocks down the road, otherwise you`ll see what happens to helicopters in action games…”- Still arguably safer for them than reporting live on the ground at this point.
3) “oh trust me, you`ll get to know it sooner rather than later. Alas, The End is here. The End will be known by all. No one can escape The End.”- The End has some serious Jumps on him.
4) “ALL MIGHT PLEASE DON`T LET ERI WATCH THIS BULLSHIT I KNOW YOU`RE THE COOL UNCLE BUT THAT`S A BIT TOO MUCH FOR HER
C`MON MAN!”- I think he’s kinda forgotten she’s sitting on his lap after getting the shocking news broadcast, since he wasn’t expecting the raid to go quite this pear-shaped so suddenly, especially with a Powerhouse like AFO locked in Tartarus.
5) “IT`S MOMDORIYA! SHE`S BACK AND SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT`S GOING ON HALFWAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND WITH HER OWN SON”- Soon, they’ll all know about it. This is the final hours of normality before MHA’s universe gets its 9/11, and that kind of big shocking event will forever alter the lives of those who live in the country.
6) “OH HEY, IT`S POTATO FUCKFACE AGAIN
HAVING FUN? ENJOYING THE MOMENTS BEFORE YOU GET OUTSIDE? I KNOW YOU WERE PLANNING THIS ALONG YOU BASTARD, YOU CAN`T TRICK ME, I SEE IT IN YOUR EYES…”- He doesn’t even have to get off his seat to destroy the country…though he’s still having more than a hand in its downfall….
7) “Anyway: Alright Endeavor, you need to make sure you completely incinerate every single cell of his body, because i`m pretty sure if you leave a single one left, he`ll completely regenerate from it like Wolverine.”- I mean, he’ll certainly try, but it seems the modifications ramped every single cell of Tomura’s way up to 100 in terms of durability. That intense blast that would have burned off parts of Hood only singed his outer layer of skin, so it’s not just a matter of destroying all his cells, but somehow subjecting every part of him to the kind of intense temperature of a concentrated Prominence Burn all at once – if you can hold him down long enough for even that.
8) “Alright Shiggy, already planning how to murder Aizawa?”- Well, more like how he’ll effectively kill all the other heroes with his surviving Nomu squad whilst he personally finishes off those closest to him to recover his Quirks. It’s almost like he’s using the power of Friendship against them!
9) “…

oh fuck no”- Luckily, not a command to the big guy.
Unluckily, the command is to a much more immediate problem.
10) “Oh, so that`s Mummyman`s quirk? Oh that`s cool, hey Shinzo, shame you don`t have a useful quirk like his, right?
Alright, I jest, his quirk is really powerful, both in offense as well as in utility, but c`mon man!”- Depending on how it works, he could even do something crazy like alter the trajectory of a punch to have an opponent literally smack themselves in the face with their own attacks
11) “Oh that`s really clever! but still, wouldn`t it be safer that now that Aizawa has activated his erasure, take him away from here so Shigaraki can`t aim any attacks at him?”- Well yes, but none of Aizawa’s supporters can fly, and he needs Manual keeping a delicate balance going on his eyes so he doesn’t blink, not too much or too little water, so the safest measure is to try and have him retreat as quickly as they can on foot, even with his broken leg hampering him, trying to keep his Erasure going as their top priority.

12) “THERE GOES MANUAL. JUST AS USELESS NOW AS HE WAS BACK IN THE STAIN ARC… I’M WAITING FOR YOUR NEXT EARTH-SHATTERING APPEARANCE, ANOTHER 200 OR SO CHAPTERS FROM NOW.”- Manuel, 50 chapters later: Not so useless anymore, huh? No, but seriously, if he messes up, they’re all dead in 30 seconds, including the civilians still in the evacuation zone.

13) “Tell me Aizawa, why don`t you get goggles that force your eyelids open and are capable of keeping them moist? I think that`s not a tall order to ask for, hell they gave Kaminari a goddamn yu-gi-oh battle bracelet for when he reunites with Seto Kaiba`s dad.”- Well, in the meantime, Manual’s on the case – and he doesn’t have to worry about water reserves running dry this way.

14) “ALSO THERE`S A LOT OF DUST HERE, I DON`T THINK THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY CONSIDERING YOU CAN`T BLINK FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS, LEAST YOU WANT EVERYONE TO DIE”- Manuel’s got you covered.
(MHA ch 275)
15) “But I don`t think he`ll be able to keep that quirk up for long, there`s way too much dust in there, Shigaraki is gonna circumvent it soon I imagine.
And when he does… oh boy, Aizawa better start running.”-
Good news! The heroes thought of a solution to the dust!
Bad news. They’ve got no answer for Aizawa’s busted leg and mobility issues yet.
16) “That`s what you have to say Shigaraki? Do you want to try another last words before you get treated like Pop?”-Tomura’s now got the confidence to start using his new bag of tricks in creative ways and joke around in a fight, even with access to the full arsenal on lockdown.
17) “Wait what the fuck- he managed to dodge that? What?
Did he changed his position midair like All Might did? Punching the air to move a certain direction?
Oh that`s worrisome, if he has enough physical strength that he can even emulate All Might without even using a quirk”- AFO and Garaki spared no expense when it came to upgrading Tomura into becoming ‘unstoppable’, period. They predicated a ton of scenarios that he might encounter and made sure to have him retrofitted so that all of his base specs would be sufficient to cover them even if one part of him was weakened or inoperable. They don’t want to make a fight with him fair, they want everything about Tomura to be overwhelming, beyond the reach of any natural abilities or counters.

18) “Welp, the doctor is fucking off after all, he`s gonna wake shigaraki and tell him that nap time is over at last. Whatever. He`s going to be the first one to die in that case anyway.”- Shockingly enough, no, despite being basically at the epicentre of it all. With events being as they are, the heroes, despite their disgust of him, need to keep him alive, if only to try and pry whatever intel they can about AFO’s true goals out of him, now we know he’s basically the only person AFO was ever really honest with on any level, because of their shared depravity.
19) “Also, even if it`s not All Might-levels, it is still close enough that he can use his moves, which, by itself, is already pretty fucking concerning for the heroes.
Jesus fuck”- He’s less than All Might’s 100%, so probably about 80-90% strength, but given that Izuku can only use 45% himself safely, that’s still too big a hurdle for him to overcome in a fight right now…. which is precisely why Toura’s being induced to focus on attacking him today, before he has any chance at a counterattack.
20) “Oh yeah Aizawa, he is.
He`s the ultimate Nomu, the perfected model.
He`s The End of all things, and he`s going make sure to live up to his title.”- Sadly, he’s also not the only Nomu remaining on the Villain’s side. Any one of those High-ends is a threat that’d require one of the top 10 heroes to take out, though thankfully they’re not as dangerous as the high-ends that got dusted.
21) “Oh it isn`t Gran Torino, it definitely isn`t. No place is safe, no place is far enough. There is no escaping it.”- Especially since “it” has a GPS tracker on Izuku that’s impossible to shake off or destroy.
22) “Now you and your nemesis are one and the same. Now the clash shall actually be significant, both carrying the torch of the Titans that came before your time.”- Well, maybe Izuku would feel the weight of this clash, but for Toura, all he knows is that Izuku needs to be next on his kill list so the voice in the back of his head will stop nagging him, if he even realises that the voice isn’t his own.

Hi Makeste! I was rereading your recap of 276 and got to the bit where Izuku is introducing Katsuki to Gran Torino and obviously he introduces him as “Kacchan” and Gran is like “yeah Toshinori told me he’s the one who knows about OFA” but then calls him Bakugo and it just made me wonder - did Toshinori tell Gran that this kid’s name is Bakugo but young Midoriya calls him Kacchan? I would LOVE to hear that conversation lmao. I also wonder if at any point during the work study, Gran heard Izuku mumbling about “just like Kacchan then!” and when Toshinori told him who Kacchan is was like “ah”
hi anon! I really love this entire thought trail lol. although the nitpicky part of me feels compelled to point out that Gran (a) watched the Sports Festival, and (b) was part of the OG Kamino rescue squad, so he knows exactly who Bakugou is. so it's likely that when All Might told him, Gran was all, "really?? that kid??" and so when he sees him with Deku in 276 he already knows that this is Bakugou Katsuki of OFA Premiere Access Lounge fame, even before Deku introduces him.
that said, I like to think he had no forewarning/explanation about Deku calling him "Kacchan", and had no clue how to react to that, and so he just filed that away under "...okay then" to analyze at some future date and time lol. "are they dating?? whatever, we've got a final boss to battle right now, we'll circle back to this later."
