This beautiful rosary was deconstructed & reconstructed with a Mal’va Star centerpiece & then a beautiful Black Madonna of Czestochowa Relic Medal at the base. This medal is very special as it contains a scrap of cloth behind it that was carried & has been touched to the shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa & thusly blessed. This star flower reminds us of our spiritual roots, & of one’s ancestors. The Mallow or eight-pointed star is formed by superimposing a straight cross (symbol of masculinity & the Sun) & an oblique cross (symbol of femininity & the Moon). The joining of these two entities naturally gives life. The full mallow is also known as the Mother’s Star. This is the symbol that is often seen in icons of the Virgin Mary. Her image (Our Lady of Częstochowa) juxtaposes several ideals of womanhood: a powerful, heavenly queen, a suffering mother, a perfect nurturer…(the) scars a sign of suffering she shares with her worshippers. ~ Trochimczyk Black Madonna of Częstochowa will hear the calls of those with depression, one who is searching to fill the void, women with fertility & menstruation issues, & people that need her guidance. Celebrates the Black Madonna as she represents the original mother & the divine feminine in every woman by declaring this rite of passage THRU the 3 phases of life: Maiden, Mother, and Crone. (Crown).

The legend concerning the two scars on the Black Madonna’s right cheek is that the Hussites stormed the Pauline monastery in 1430, plundering the sanctuary. Among the items stolen was the icon. After putting it in their wagon, the Hussites tried to get away but their horses refused to move. They threw the portrait down to the ground & one of the plunderers drew his sword upon the image & inflicted two deep strikes. When they tried to inflict a third strike, he fell to the ground & writhed in agony until his death. Despite past attempts to repair these scars, they had difficulty in covering up those slashes as the painting was done with tempera infused with diluted wax. In 1928 Walery Cyryl Amrogowicz completed the creation of five & two zloty coins. The Polish Ministry of Treasury rejected his design, but he nonetheless ordered some sets for himself and friends. I stumbled across this book, 'Book of Psalms for Catholics,' back in 2014 when I attended an all-white Catholic Church with my old girlfriend in downtown Tampa. I found it in the bookstore, and what caught my eye was the black depiction of Jesus and the 12 disciples on the cover. Later, I discovered that there are over 400 depictions throughout Europe paying tribute to Mother Mary as the Black Madonna. The origins of these statues have been lost over time, which makes me wonder. What did they really look like. 🧐 #BlackMadonna #Messiah #BlackMessiah #JesusChrist

In 1920, when Russia invaded Poland, it is said that the approaching Russian army, gathered on the banks of the Vistula River saw the image of Our Lady of Czestochowa inexplicably appear in the skies over Warsaw, and withdrew.

Similar stories were told by my Mother's Hungarian-Romani family members, who credit Her intercession for safely getting them to the United States around that same period, among them, my grandfather.

She is our Mother Earth, the Female Principle, our Primordial Mother, symbol of Wisdom and, as I shared with members of our community recently, She is the corporeal manifestation of the Birther of the Cosmos. Truly the first Tabernacle, as She gave birth to the Children of the World.

This is why I reject the construct of race as it is understood by modern society. I prefer the construct used, from what I am told, by members of many Indigenous First Nations People in North America, which sees skin colours as indicators of the "tribes of humanity".

So when the trolls tell me that I am an embarrassment for referring to the esoteric tradition of my people (in my paternal side of the family) as Afro-Sicilian folk magic, because they think "Italians" (another imaginary construct that was arbitrarily assigned in the mid-twentieth century) are "white", I simply dismiss them, because I know who my Spiritual Mother is, and She is the archetypal life-bringer (Wisdom), who combined with the Sacred Masculine Principle (Thought) gives birth to Consciousness.
