😮 I actually really like this theory, even if just in a fanservice kind of way. We know Kanan has been severely traumatized by Order 66 and is haunted by his memories.

I bet he's replayed that same tragic scene over and over in his mind so much it's physically imprinted into his grey matter: his master dying, everything he could have done differently, things he felt like he should have done to prevent it. The guilt, the remorse, the sorrow... I could easily see this following Kanan throughout his life and affecting even the smallest choicest he makes.

Like maybe the Gorsian street merchant who has an assortment of mismatched scrap armor pieces laid out on a blanket. Kanan glimpses the wares and looks away only to have the memory of That First Hit flash through his brain. Depa, his master, grimacing as the laser bolt slices through her right shoulder.

If only she had been wearing armor, he thinks. Just on that one side. She might still be here.

And maybe he might remain here if he invests in a few pieces.

He gets the weird feeling the Force is trying to communicate with him. Again. He promptly closes himself off.

He doesn't have many credits to spare—he has several debts to square up and payday isn't until next week—and the sign beside the vendor states in seven languages: ALL PURCHASES MUST BE PAID IN FULL. ALL SALES FINAL.

Taking a deep breath and summoning every ounce of his charm, he manages to work out a deal with the merchant for a right shoulder pauldron and breastplate in exchange for 50 credits and bottle of their favorite liquor at The Asteroid Belt.

"Just ask for Kanan," he says and hands the merchant a slip of paper with the Belt's location and comm number on it.

I will never understand some people that try to make “female forms” of Pokemon that either don’t have gender differences, are only male, or don’t have genders at all, and they’re all just the same super shitty “oh i made it look like it has tits and hair and it’s all pink and feminine uwu” when the actual gender differences between most actual Pokemon in the series who have them are just shit like this

literally the only difference is that the male has a chip in his dorsal fin and that’s it

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
