Just binged Twelve Forever...
Is it me, or is Endless Island basically Silent Hill, but for kids coming of age?
Like, I once mused that all of the natural inhabitants (who weren’t created via the sand burying method) used to be regular kids who stayed in Endless and eventually transformed/got stuck in their forms. Then Spring Break Forever came along, and then we met ELMER...
And, like, yikes. I did NOT expect the show to go there. And what’s the deal with the Butt Witch- She claims she existed in Endless prior to it becoming all colorful, and was summoned by the puberty books? Is Endless basically just a Silent Hill-styled trap that lures in victims? Some demonic dimension that has recently switched tactics in order to get new victims, hence Butt Witch’s confusion at it being so imaginative and fun now?!
I’m probably overthinking this, but then Stranger Forever came along and...

I am a simple person. I just like watching Netflix in fluffy sweaters with coffee. Leave me to my angels and children and I am content.

Every so often a show comes along that makes me laugh, cry and most importantly, think. That show is Derry Girls.
I was going to watch Parks and Rec for the billionth time when I decided to give Derry Girls a try. And trust me, it’s not getting the buzz it deserved.

Short review of "Dark" Season 2
(spoilers without context)
What I've learned from binge watching season 2 of Dark is basicaly an answer to this question⬇
What is so beautifuly dark in "Dark"?
1) Dark bubbly things;
2) Dark mindblowing secrets;
3) Dark plot twists;
And... last but not the least –
4) Dark horny dreams.
Honestly, everything in this season is top-notch: writing, directing, acting, editing, soundtracks and even the CGI. Everything is right where it belongs.
It may seem like the last two months were rich on shows with nuclear power plants related apocalypses and complicated romantiс relationship with aunties, yet still new season of Dark is like a breath of fresh air.
Highly recommended to watch and enjoy!
9,8/10

Unfair, problematic things : even with all the scars and the scrambled brain and the back story, Ben Barnes is still hella gorgeous and Billy Russo is still an enticing, fascinating character.

Serena: Blair called me a prostitute
Chuck: because she misses you.
Yeah no. That's a terrible friend for you all. Everyone, both in the show and in real life, should stop making excuses for that despicable person that is Blair Waldorf. Selfish, constantly envious of her friends, she is the worst.

Unoriginal and Mundane Insomnia
This is just here because it’s the 6th night in a row that I have had super bad insomnia! So much fun (as you can imagine) it has enabled me to binge watch so much so at least I can be grateful for that lol
I’ve been trying to get my hands on a copy of ‘A Discovery of Witches’ from Waterstones but it was raining so much today in England and I didn’t have anything I could keep the book safe in so I left it xD
I finished watching Season 1 of The Society without realising that Season 2 isn’t out yet and I’m super bummed about it haha it’s so good, would recommend.
I have also finished watch ‘The Order’ which I totally wish that it was based on a book because that would be great. There are so many series and movies that I wish had a book form as there are things that could probably be elaborated on in it. I watched ‘After the Dark’ AGES ago and the film left a lot to be desired... But I really thought if someone made that into a book it would actually have some major potential.
The ramblings of an exhausted person here but to be honest it’s kind of relaxing to just be chilling at this quiet hour and thinking of random things to watch or do... like possibly re-watching the Halloweentown movies in mid June because I can xD
(The idea on this post is just posting when I kind of need to do something when the usual distraction tactics are feeling a little overused, not sure what I think about it yet but as I go I’ll improve and probably change what I do a million times before I find a ‘happy medium’ )
Btw dis is me with a yellow theme snapchat filter because I’m trash... Have a good night/ a good day
Yours Truly,
Unoriginal & Mundane :)

April Binges
Shows:
1. The Case Against Adnan Syed
This is one of those documentaries that really rocks your world. It shows the life of Adnan Seyd who was a senior in high school. He was very religious, close with his family, played almost all sports, had good grades and was even prom king. He was convicted in 2000 to life in prison plus 30 years for Hae Min Lee’s death, which occurred in 1999. With no hard evidence, the justice system really failed him. This documentary is available on HBO Now.
2. Imposters
This series SCREAMS entertainment! One random Sunday I decided to start watching this show and honestly, I’m so happy I did. Con-artists, humor and a really good looking cast. It’ll keep you on your toes the entire time! Available to stream on Netflix. Show by Bravo.
3. Santa Clarita Diet
Ok... I know I talked about SCD in a previous post, but I hadn’t finished it until a couple days ago and... I am in LOVE! Obviously, we are all obsessed with Drew Barrymore, but the entire cast is just so compatible and sweet. Can “zom-body” please give us a season 3?! Available to stream on Netflix.
Movies:
1. Someone Great
I assumed I was going to love this film simply because of Gina Rodriguez, but as soon as this the beginning credits rolled and “Int'l Players Anthem” started playing I WAS LIKE WHOA. Feel good movie times 10! Three best friends must stick by each other’s sides while each of them face difficulties with their relationships. It’s hilarious, touching and SO relatable. Available to stream on Netflix.
2. Homecoming
SHE DID THAT. She mentions that she wanted to give everyone the full experience not just something to watch. SHE DID THAT! Available to stream on Netflix.
3. The Perfect Date
Noah Centineo makes us fall in love with each and every character he plays. This movie is witty, sweet and funny. Must watch! Available on Netflix.
On a side note...
I am currently watching Jane the Virgin, Game of Thrones, The Act, The Voice and will be watching Infinity War: End Game this weekend. I’ll more than likely include them in my May binges or touch base on them a little bit until I finish the entire series. I hope you enjoy these shows / movies as they’ve made my hectic month of April a little more enjoyable :)
