Jackhira And The Beanstalk!
A/n: Before the story gets started, a special tumblr guest will be roleplaying in the story with the rest of the other characters…. For heads-up, there will be some blood and blank foul language scene in the story, but I hoping the this story will be good everyone! It’s not appropriate but to make sure to avoid signs of warnings in the future! PLEASE ENJOY!😊

Quick drawing of @aceandpals's Berolt. He's a very good giant; charismatic and smarmy.

Okey time to yeet myself back to the void.

Do Holly and Mari get along with Berolt?
I assume you mean @aceandpals' Berolt, in which case yes! As long as people aren't being excessively rude or plain evil, the gals get along with just about anyone. Except a few here and there, which I will someday explain.

I just read your tags on the magic of theater especially between the audience and theater makers. If you haven't read or seen anything by berolt brecht, I think you'd really like it. His whole thing is getting past the fourth wall and forcing the audience to participate with the story they are being told. Really interesting stuff and some of his plays are absolutely bonkers. I highly recommend the Caucasian chalk circle and life of Galileo. If you want something really mind bending, there's also We Are Proud to Present a Presentation...
yes yes yes I LOVE brecht!! I’ve got a few of his plays, and saw the production of the caucasian chalk circle that was on at the rose theatre in london a few years ago. If i remember correctly he and his work actually get referenced in that theatre & audience book i talked about in those tags!! threepenny opera is one of the shows i’d most love to be involved in tbh - we nickname one of our cats Mack the Knife (actual name is macadamia) 🙃

I stumbled upon the work of @ace-and-pals the other day and I am just so impressed with their character designs and very fun and dynamic comic shorts! I can’t wait to see what comes of the Jack and the Beanstalk variation that’s ongoing! I’ve found Berolt to be an exquisitely fun antagonist!
I thought a little AU/Crossover would be kind of fun. Clickspring has enough on her hands trying to keep the peace with robots, humans, borrowers, and giants less than 1/3 Berolt’s size. So if this mischievous cloud giant found some rift in spacetime and wound up in JunkTown, well Click would have her work cut out for her. But, assuming by then she’d be brave enough to ditch her robotic disguise/puppet and meet Berolt face-to-face, she would. She takes her job as the defacto leader of JunkTown very seriously. If this big guy was going to cause some trouble she’d at least want to keep him busy so the others could get to safety. It might seem like a hopeless endeavor, but on her back Clickspring has a collapsing rocket propelled escape glider, which she would use to at least give the big guy a run for his money if things got sketchy. She’s evasive and clever, so who knows!

I know that the fandom will never universally agree on what the right choice was (Erwin, Armin, neither) - and that’s fine. I’m not sure there is one definite right answer, in stead of different choices with different paths that contain both good and bad in different aspects.
Talking about why you personally agreed more with one over the other, is also fine. Anyone with stock in these characters probably need to get their feelings out there for their own personal health. Every opinion is valid.
But I have one big request for the fandom going forward: please remember that your opinion is your opinion, and not the definite right answer. I have little respect to spare for those of you who are now going around waving your opinion as the blueprint, and shaming, attacking, or otherwise making the other half of the fandom feel stupid/inferior/invalid/villains/“not understanding the story”/lesser fans for not agreeing with you! Nobody has the authority to say “x was the canon right choice” - except Isayam himself (whom I believe would say there is no black and white answer to this). So please, defend your opinion all you want - as long as you do so respectfully - but I ask you all to please remember that it is still just your opinion. Many people disagree with you, and don’t you dare tell them their opinions are lesser than yours.
Thank you for considering this and for choosing to keep this fandom a respectful place with room for all of us equally.
