can i get some fun teadocs lore. specifically about vic if you have anything to share... i'm a vic fan lol
hello i completely forgot about this ask BUT. i have remembered it now SO some fun vic lore
since i have No idea what specifically i posted about with regards to my ocs on my main blog made it to @teadocs before blog deletion this might have some repeated info, but yeah!
Vic:
- has a pet ferret named Mr Wiggles :)
- Knows how to tap dance, and is taking a variety of dance classes
- Had a scene phase as a pre-teen (riiight around when her twin Izzy became emo)
- has two playlists, her original (and abandoned) playlist is EXTREMELY pop-heavy, with like a couple alternative/unexpected songs in there. her current playlist still features some pop, but is more varied, and has a healthy amount of songs from her favourite band.
- Speaking of whom, her favourite band is OK Go. Her favourite song of theirs is I Won't Let You Down.
- Season 4 is sort of when I gave her a whole revamp. Since she's a jock, I built her S4 look around stereotypical jock looks from the 80s. This is reflected in her new playlist which features some 80s hits, too. My favourite part about her S4 design is her absolutely Glorious hair though :D
- has fought a bear blindfolded with her hands tied behind her back
- has said that Milo is the most squishable contestant
- ace!! i have no idea if i've ever stated that publicly anywhere but she's ace :)
- broke beric's jaw with a single punch. he deserved it and everyone thanks her for it
while i'm Here lemme add some tidbits for my other OCs!
Cole: has apparently been drawn wearing Jordan's glasses over his eyes more than Jordan has, which is really funny to me
Jared: kill la kill made him gay physically could not grow a moustache until he accepted his identity as a gay guy
Izzy: has magic pecs that can put his partner to sleep in a matter of Moments
Rio: was goth at some point
Piper: has a phobia of birds
Beric: got stranded on boney island multiple times and it was so fucking funny

in all seriousness, it's a nickname for Eric. His first name is Brandon, hence the B. To be honest, I can't remember if it was something I came up with when I was making him, or if someone else started calling him that first, but in any case, it's what we call him now LOL

I rewatched the first episode of "Secret Invasion" which is called "Resurrection" (how dare you). And I don't really have any new thoughts but I want to shout out how Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion, the Lightning Lord) playing the ridiculously named Prescod in the opening, says the word "Skrulls."
I like to imagine the director being like, "we're going to push on you when you say this made up word and it's going to be cool." And him being like, "Okay here I go."

hi hi hi okay these are INTERESTING
Lady Stoneheart/Beric Dondarrion: okay okay I get it I get it I see you I’m interested Im listening. I do feel like this is a situation where it’s like. Weird, sad, cold-flesh sex annd nothing more. Zombies with Benefits, if you will. And that is not a CRITICISM but I’m wondering how much more you could pull out from that alone. Lady Stoneheart’s desires are so *singular* and *specific* that I don’t know how much more meat there could be for these two beyond the fact that they’re both in similar circumstances. would read though but it’s, like, a one-shot.

Sansa/Harry Hardyng: I have been so immersed in the fandom version of Harry Hardyng that I have truthfully lost all sense of his actual character anymore. I do like using him as this sort of vaguely Bad Boyfriend. Like we love Sansa being dissatisfied and cheating on him and further realizing her childhood dreams were a lie through the medium of Harry being bad at oral sex. We do love this. He’s useful as a plot device and for Sansa’s character development. Which. Honestly, does this make Harry a feminist? Discuss.
F for romance; A for Harry being sacrificed at the altar of me pairing Sansa with women and inappropriate but sexier men.
Elia/Brandon Stark: okay so here’s the thing. Elia deserves the absolute world. Is Brandon Stark the man to do that? He nearly disemboweled Littlefinger so maybe?!?! Brandon is an interesting figure to me because he feels very distant and very veiled to me. Like, he’s the villain in Petyr’s story and he’s this ghost that sort of sits at the edges of Catelyn and Ned’s and none of those positions give you really much sense of who he is (intentionally, I think). My memory of him is that he was hot-blooded and impulsive and very sort of a womanizer as well? Which means he could definitely have fallen for a queen and actually contrasts Rhaegar nicely who reads as sort of a cool distant Richard II-type to me always, despite his affair and war over Lyanna. Like there’s an honesty to being a womanizer as opposed to Rhaegar’s weirdness. But even with that rakish, bold characterization, I think there’s a lot of room for interpretation and I would be interested to see something that took Brandon’s actions as reported and reinterpreted them through the lens of him being in love with Elia (like the thing where he was going to confront Rhaegar over the tourney gift of the roses—like it’s an insult to Lyanna but it’s also, like, about Elia in this weird way…to protect her, she needs to be married to this man and she shouldn’t be married to this man and I would be better for you but also we cannot do anything about this). It feels like a really lovely sort of reference to chivalric romances? A real chivalric romance contrasted with the grooming/kidnapping of Lyanna? The potential tension between them because of Lyanna is also really interesting. For Elia’s sake, though, it would have to be a real and abiding love even if impossible and forbidden 🥲

Young Griff/Arianne: Yes! Would read this! I’m going to be honest with you, my memory of ADwD is hazy at best so…something something manipulation for a political end goal something something political marriage something something young griff being manipulated by powers greater than he. but sure!

which of your ocs is most likely to disappear off the grid and why
Beric, since that's something he actually does in canon. Everyone hates him so much and his continued appearances on Total Drama tanked the ratings, so he fucked off to the middle of nowhere with his equally-awful boyfriend, never to bother anyone else again.
....out of the other characters that haven't done it though, I'll have to say Piper! She isn't online much in the first place, and she'd probably adjust to living off-grid quite well. one issue: if we're talking a total disappearance, she'll miss her friends :( and also have to give up on her chosen career path but mostly no friends :(
