I sometimes think sunny think about basil more than basil think about sunny, even though most people see basil a bit yandare ,stalkerish. From the og I don’t believe he has those traits, you can say he is very obsessed, but to me is more of his desperation calling for help towards sunny, the only person known what’s he is hiding.
Basil is not as clingy , maybe emotionally but not physically. What I meant is he considers other feelings than him but at the last tree days it’s probably his limits.He behaves too well to the point he breaks and starts acting weird. A lot of people believe is, Basil was about to commit suicide after getting the photo album. He was already in a very low point of his life, if he is obsessed with sunny he would have wanted to see him one last time but he didn’t. But sunny appears, and he still probably decided to kill him self anyway, giving away his precious item to sunny even before knowing sunny is leaving. Then was the river scene, I personally think he might have the thought to drown himself after one last time seeing their old favorite hang out spot . But unexpectedly met Aubrey and her friends. (This might be more of a stretch)
Let’s compare the hiki route, where the last scene with the siren, many assumed it’s because basil still committed suicide, and that siren is for him. In this order, he probably didn’t get the photo album and trying to get it, before getting it the last straw was his grandma passing away.
All of these, there’s never any creepy clingy behavior of wanting , forcing himself to seeing sunny, he made up his mind very long time ago actually . And the only difference is sunny wanted to see him (or not
#I’m just personally protective towards basil bc the hate#I felt like he is very considerate towards sunny feelings emotion and giving him space#on the other hand sunny done none towards basil but a fantasy world of his own#I don’t blame sunny I think it’s a normal reaction to trauma#the responsibility is on him and he can’t deal with it and I know in this situation basil definitely has less#but like yes I’m salty and a dumb basil defender the amount of people see sunny as angel and basil done all the wrong just mess me so much#what do you mean it will be better like sunny sister will magically be alive again?#the amount of people denying sunny in the wrong is amazing yes I know you like him but it’s like not he has never done wrong#like he is so passive and stable the what? I know basil is weird but like hell you understand sunny why you differ basil situation#I think the game is telling you to face what you have done#good now we forget and clear all responsibility from sunny

The Game was afoot...
Basil's little heart was racing in their chest. They turned a corner, ducking behind a pile of dusty books. Particles floated through the air, caught in a Sunbeam streaming past them through an old window.
Perhaps they should have considered the amount of dust before hiding here. A tiny squeak of a sneeze gives away their position, and they hear the being that was chasing them pivot, heading their direction.
They go to take off running, when a glass jar clamps down on top of them, and a hand slips beneath it, closing them in. The giant of a being who has caught them smirks, purring contently.
"Caught you, little mouse..."
Their voice sends shivers down Basil's spine.. the predator is licking their lips, eyeing the tiny mouse like being. Basil's tail twitches, swishing and then curling around their leg as their ears flatten. They've been caught, fair and square.
It seems that was a good enough indication for their captor that they aren't going to try to run. It would be unwise to, anyways, seeing as they're so far off the ground now. The glass jar is lifted, hand under them curling around their tiny body.
Basil can't help but nuzzle into that hand a bit, finally having managed to catch their breath. This only prompts more purring from the larger being, who lifts them playfully above their head, tilting it back.
Basil squeaks, feeling their body slipping towards the now open maw below them. Their captor is making them wait, allowing gravity to do their work for them. The grip on them gets looser and looser... Until Basil begins to freefall. The air rushing past them causes an adrenaline rush. Their heart races, their breath hitches in their throat.
It's all over in a moment, though, as they fall onto a plush, warm, wet tongue. The strong muscle under their little body flexes and wriggles, tasting them gently. The predator is still purring, even louder now that they're able to taste Basil.
Their head and face is massive compared to the tiny being, but to Basil's delight, their expression is full of joy. Their head tilts downward a bit, Basil slipping around on the slick tongue. Purring has surrounded them, as the tongue over their little body curls and twists, getting a good taste of their catch.
The little mouse being finds themself giggling uncontrollably at being licked at. Could that purring get any louder?
It does as they're pulled into the maw, and those dark lips close around them. With them here, the pred is free to flip them over, swish them around, and lick up their taste to their hearts content.
After what feels like a blissful eternity of warmth and affection, the maw opens again. That strong tongue is still curled around their prize, and Basil chuckles as pants of warm breath flow over them.
They're nearly dry again, resting here, able to tell the Pred is smiling. How much longer will this being want to keep them? What else are they going to do? Basil braces themself as they feel the tongue starting to tug on them again. Those purrs are ramping up again, making the tiny being blush faintly.
It seems playtime isn't over yet.

Magic au!
How people are made
Every person is grow from nature, not from people. Maybe someone grew from a sapling, or a cloud, or a clam, basically anywhere you can think of. Every part of this universe has magic, and it seeps into the people it creates, giving them magical powers. People usually emerge as an age between newborn and toddler, and it's common for adults to take in the children.
Magic
Every person has a few basic powers like levitation, telekinesis, teleportation, etc. But they have a unique set of powers given to them by where they were grown, which can allow them to manipulate their world. Magic is inherently part of people and everything. It can't be created, destroyed, or removed from people.
Marks
Marks appear on various places on people, and it shows many aspects of their magic.
The lighter the mark, the more powerful the person. If it's flashing, the person is getting tired. This can be emotionally, mentally, physically, magically, etc. The shape of the mark shows how they were grown and what type of magic they have. If someone is using magic, the part of their body doing the magic (usually the hands) turns the same color or pattern as their mark, and a glowy haze surrounds it.
The planet
They live on somewhere that is not earth, but similar. Animals are also grown the same way as people, but are more common. Animals and plants also have magic, so there's a deep connection between them and people.
