Once they learned how to use Gear Station’s transportation though, the entire map’s open to them— so they travelled a lot. Usually with Elesa, because the twins saw another lonely kid and went “yep! That one’s coming with us.”

i see both kaeya and diluc as alphas, which in an omegaverse au helps explain some of the animosity between the two… they are both incredibly possessive, but it manifests in different ways.

diluc is blunt, straightforward, and a bit asocial. as such, no one can step foot within a certain radius of his mate—unless they want to die. he’s overbearing and will mark you and scent you and keep you on a tight leash so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind who you belong to.

kaeya, while equally as possessive as diluc, is a bit more… playful in how he treats his mate. but there’s an underlying sadism to it. he likes to lure people into a false sense of security; he enjoys it when other alphas think they have a chance with you. only to relish in the way they nearly crawl out of their skin when kaeya strolls in, razor sharp teeth pulled into a grin, eyes nothing short of murderous. after that he’ll scent you until you reek of him and mark every inch of your body. but once his scent and marks fade, he’ll play the game again—the cycle repeats itself.

i like imagining them with a beta reader simply because i think it would throw them both for a loop. omegas are needy, and both men are too busy for that kind of commitment. but also, betas are a challenge—something both men enjoy—since they throw a wrench in the established hierarchy. reader doesn’t pick up on their cues or understand the insatiable cravings they have. it just makes for an interesting dynamic!

To the anon who keeps leaving somewhat ominous, somewhat personal, poetry-themed asks in my inbox: Please Stop.

It seems like you mean well, and are mostly just going for dramatics, but I’m someone who suffers a lot from anxiety and paranoia. These messages caught me in a good mood, so mostly they just made me nervous, but I can tell you with confidence if they’d come a month ago, it would have affected me pretty negatively. I’m not telling you this to shame you, or make you feel bad. I’m telling you this for full transparency. If you still want to talk, but you’re scared to message under a username [or just don’t have a tumblr] that’s perfectly fine! I don’t mind. But understand I don’t know your intentions, so the vagaries and references to knowing me and things, they come off a lot more bad-faith than I think you want them to.

If I could offer a suggestion! Talk in your normal voice, or at the very least an informal one, and maybe tag yourself with a nickname so you’re more recognizable, like [poetry anon]. That way we can actually form a rapport.

Also, if you’re going to keep sending asks, please use the correct pronouns! I’ve been using they/them exclusively for almost 5 years now.

honestly... its SO weird!!! it's happened twice now. normally I give prints out at concerts- like at mcr and pilots nobody really knew me. some people seek me out because I post on discords/twitter the morning of that im handing out free art. but at the tommyinnit show (and lovejoy's concert i went to last year) people have straight up told me that they already follow me/ have purchased my merch. some people show me that they have their charms ON THEM when i walk up to them!!! its so incredibly humbling.... its hard for me to comprehend that people actually put my charms on their keys.. prints on their wall.. or just are aware of my work?

the reason I hand out prints at shows is just a way for me to practice being brave- a great excuse to talk to fellow fans and connect with a community that im a part of ;_; so its crazy to me when people know me, or ask for me to sign the prints?!?! of course i think things like people walking up to me in a line for art- well people just like free things even if they dont know me x) but when i get to have that small moment of connection with those who have supported my work, it gets me really emotional :,D i am super passionate about fandom space and its so wonderful to experience it irl....

im totally rambling but i definitely don't think im well-known or anything like that. i just feel so lucky i have been able to connect with such great communities through my art!!
