Heh, I was thinking here that Dream's kinda mindlesslly fiddling with Hob's shirt collar and when Hob asks if he should remove it Dream takes a second to compose his answer because sure, he wouldn't mind the shirt coming off but he also doesn't want to seem too eager about that.
I think the flowers are a neat way to show when someone is smitten. I felt like small hearts wouldn't be quite Hob so I drew small flowers instead.

Haha, thank you! Violet and purple are my favorite colors and I usually pick that when I start an illustration (I always sketch with a colored brush), and my art often ends up being purple. But it's also a very dream-like color (heh) so it fits well for The Sandman fanart :3
I actually struggled a bit with the long comic to make the colors cohesive so I just slapped a layer of purple with a color mode on every page and that sort of did the trick :''D Sometimes all it takes is to play around with the layer blend modes.

Thank you, I'm glad to hear that! And hey, take your time. Webcomics can be a lot, and when mine's like 1000 pages lmao..... yeah. You don't have to start from the beginning, if you remember approximately where you left, just hop on chapter x from the archive and browse on a little bit. If you made it to Book 2 already, I think the beginning of it is a good place to hop on again. But things come and go in waves, the same is with enjoying webcomics or any media really. Don't feel bad, focus on what brings you joy in this moment.

When I started Transfusions it was fun to have a vampire who's kinda fresh, still, because vampires are always like 300 years old or whatever in every other media. Plus I'm not a history nerd so I can't be bothered to be historically accurate and have people nag about how I got this and that wrong from period x. Looking back to 1960-1980 is relatively easy lol. And a punk vampire is funny.
Thank you very much, I'm always glad to hear people finding and enjoying The Witch Door. I've kinda felt like struggling to find it it's audience since it's not BL and I worry if my brain is big enough to write this kind of a story. So comments like these are very reassuring and encouraging! Danke schön! :)

1st Ever Ship:
Like honestly, probably a self insert thing of me + one of the book characters or anthropomorphic cartoon animals I liked. Me and Robin Hood probably. Me and David Rain from that series with the clay dragons. Me and Flynn from obscure CGI animated kid's series Insektors. I think before I discovered The Internet I wasn't consciously aware of shipping characters who weren't together in canon -- I'm sure I DID on occasion, but it defo registered less before I started fanficcing and freaking out with other people about it.
Last Song:
Brown of Gold by The Altogether. If I'd answered this earlier it would have undoubtedly been something emo from the Dream playlist lmao.
Currently Reading:
Vagabonds! by Eloghosa Osunde. I'm actually having a good time for reading rn, hasn't been the case for a few years. I also just finished Under the Whispering Door, and Cemetary Boys, and the Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue. I'm bouncing back and forth between stuff aimed at adults and stuff aimed at teens, sometimes when my attention is bad or I'm really sad teen stuff is just easier to latch onto/more likely to have happy-ish endings. Defo finding it easier to get through books when i know there's queerness afoot. Vagabonds! is the most difficult one I've sunk my teeth into lately, it's very good but I'm getting through it a little at a time, interspersed with a re-read of ultimate gay comfort book the House in the Cerulean Sea.
Last Movie:
I don't think I've actually watched a movie since new year's eve, so um. Titanic. Which the three of us unanimously decided to watch at new year for some reason.
Currently Consuming:
Nothing, I am HONGRY. Will go down and forage something soon I imagine, I'm keeping myself well fed enough but not deriving much pleasure from it atm. Sadly I need to cut down my salt intake a bit (nothing diet fad-y, just sincere concerns about my blood pressure lmao), and salty foods are the only ones I sincerely enjoy so bleh.
Currently Watching:
Struggling to get into new shows atm, for the first time in ages I'm actually a bit more interested in reading! I have a couple of eps of Cabinet of Curiosities left. And I'm rewatching OFMD with the family, DGHDA with a friend, and Shadow and Bone in preparation for season 2.
Currently craving:
For my brain to happily focus on something a bit and quit it with this restless 'there's other stuff you could be doing' feeling? That and a packet of crisps.

Good morning, Storm! One of my favorite cartoons as a kid was Kim Possible! What if we had someone like Patton or Logan as Kim, and maybe Roman as Ron Stoppable? Or any characters you please! 💙💜
(Good Afternoon! I freaking love Kim Possible. Like, damn, favourite cartoon as a kid. Heck, I still love the show. So good. And I changed Roman to Virgil! I hope that’s okay!”
“Patton!”
Patton ducked over one of the minion’s punches, letting it fly over his head harmlessly as he glanced over his shoulder. “You doing okay, VeeVee,” he called worriedly, glancing at where his friend was dancing around minions. Virgil was normally great with dealing with these goons - a little unconventional but he had gotten a lot better since his trip to Japan - but today he was just barely dodging punches and blasts from their lasers.
Which was honestly just rude. Who on earth gave these guys lasers?
“I’m fine,” Virgil called, ducking behind one of the goons and giving them a firm in the back. “Just, did you finish that homework assignment for math? I think I messed up on question nine.”
Patton groaned. “Don’t even remind me!” He took a few quick steps forward before jumping above one of the goons and landing on their shoulders, taking quick jumps from goon to goon to get to the artifact that the minions had come to steal. “I failed, I just know it! What number did you -”
“Would you two dumb kids shut up!?” Virgil shrieked as a goon grabbed his arm, wrenching it hard. “Grab him! Grab -” The goon screamed and snatched his hand back, a small green and yellow snake poking out of Virgil’s sleeve and hanging from his hand. “Fucking thing bit me!”
Virgil used the distraction, quickly and carefully pulling his pet back and scrambling away from the minion just as Patton grabbed the artifact. Better to take it themselves and get it somewhere safe than let these guys take it and use it for evil. Patton wrapped an arm around his friend’s waist, holding him snugly against him as he whipped out his grappling hook and shot the hook out the window. He grinned brightly at Virgil’s scream of surprise, the minions’ screams of fury, and let out a scream of joy himself. This had been a fun mission.
Now he just had to get them back to school before math class.

Not sure what tale you’d spin with this title, but it’s been on my mind today: Am I the Asshole? Preferably a lighthearted fic if that’s okay 💙
Roman’s boyfriend has been avoiding him all week, and Roman is desperately trying to figure out what went wrong. He takes to reddit to try and figure out what’s going on, recounting the first thing he can think of that would have possibly upset his poor true love. The r/amitheasshole? community is stumped at first, and ask him to recount his boyfriend’s behavior over the past several weeks.
As Roman describes how his love has been acting, something that he is painfully oblivious to beins to be clear to the redditors...his boyfriend isn’t mad at him....he’s planning to propose.
