even setting aside all the shit clarke has done to murphy, it took her 130+ years to apologize and then it was her being like “i’m sorry BUT” and then trying to make them feel bad for her. bellamy stood by his side until he couldn’t anymore and then immediately went straight to murphy and apologized. sincerely. without excuses. there is a big difference in their apologies here
SERIOUSLY!! There is a HUGE difference between Clarke’s: “What the hell do you want from me, Murphy? I’m sorry, okay? Is that what you want to hear? That I’m the bad guy?” and Bellamy LITERALLY saying that he was the one responsible and sincerely apologizing to Murphy. And not just apologizing, but MEANING IT, no excuses, no “I’m sorry, but” included (even though the Eclipse wasn’t Bellamy’s fault). That apology that he gave to Murphy, it was REAL and Murphy knew it, too; which was all the reasons why he immediately forgave him and doesn’t blame him.
I said it once before, but I’ll say it again: It really says something that this whole thing took place back to back - Clarke’s so-called “apology” to Murphy was in 6x02, and Bellamy’s was in 6x03 - which was the SAME EPISODE where Clarke told Russell and Simone that she would NOT make any apologies.

Emori :)
I tried really hard to like Emori. Trust me, I tried.
But her constantly trying to isolate Murphy didn’t sit right with me. Her blaming Murphy for being raped, saying that he enjoyed it, didn’t sit right with me. Her lying to him about the guy who tortured her and her brother, and making him keep it secret from the others didn’t sit right with me. Her being all snappy and rude post-breakup didn’t sit right with me. Her saying that Murphy should stay behind in space to die didn’t sit right with me. Her telling Murphy that she only wants him when he is whole didn’t sit right with me.
As I said, I really tried to like Emori. She just makes it really fucking hard by being a constant bitch towards Murphy.

that said, this is the 100 and i have learnt to never get my hopes up for anything! but keep your fingers crossed and your clown nose on for the concept you just described bc it would be masterpiece television and make me very happy

my working theory is that they do know about the eclipse but they don’t tell our “earthlings” (idk what i’m gonna call these groups lol) and they’re just like “yeah welcome here take this part of the ground enjoy ya self” in hopes that they just tear each other apart during the eclipse and when it doesn’t the “earth kids” are like “yo wtf why didn’t you tell us” and it causes the tension between everyone
Valid theory. Also supports my “New Mountain Men are pricks” feelings.

Hey babe,
I know I started this celebration like 7 months ago but then life happened and I never finished it. So here is your prompt fill. More than half a year late. Oops. 💖 (And probably a lot angstier than you wanted, yikes, that was not where this was going when I started writing it)
Lost time, lost sleep
“Hey,” Jordan says softly, stepping into the room that Raven had been allocated. They’ve been on this new planet - moon, for all of half a day and it’s already the same shit that it has been since Raven left the Ark. Over 100 years ago. Fighting, for their lives, their friends, their survival. Murphy had already died. So much for ‘do better.’
“Hi,” Raven says. She doesn’t look up, eyes trained on the tiny plastic motorcycle in her hands. The one Shaw had left with her before he came down. Before he’d been killed.
“Keep it,” he grinned, when she had tried to hand it back. “Give it back when I come up to get you.”
“Be safe,” she said, kissing him quickly. He was about to take her friends down into the uncharted land below. “Look after them.”
But he didn’t come back for her. And when she got down herself, he’d been killed.
“I’m sorry about Shaw,” Jordan says, stepping into the room. She can tell he’s unsure. He’d only ever known two people in his whole life. Another two people she’d lost.
“Me too,” Raven says quietly, closing her fist around the motorcycle. Little pieces of it dig into her hands, but she can’t bring herself to care. Not when she’s missing him so much.
“Mum and dad spoke really highly of him,” Jordan says. Raven’s not sure she wants to hear this. But she doesn’t have the energy to stop him. “They said cryo was his idea.”
“It was,” Raven agrees. There’s no emotion in her voice.
“They said he was a really good man,” he continues, either oblivious to her reluctance to converse or not caring. “I wish I got to know him better.”
“So do I,” Raven whispers. Her voice cracks this time because she barely knew him. But she cared about him so much. They’d only known each other for a few weeks but they went through so much together. And she tried to ignore it, tried not to fall for him, but she did. And losing him, so soon after Monty and Harper, had broken her.
“I just wanted to tell you that,” Jordan says softly, reaching a hand out towards her and pulling it back. “Do you ugh - do you want me to leave?”
“You don’t have to,” she says softly, remembering he’s in mourning too. She doesn’t want to push him away. Not when he doesn’t really have anyone. “You can hang out.”
“Thanks,” he says, dropping down on a chair opposite the bed she’s laying on.
“What else did they tell you?” She asks. Monty and Harper would have been such good parents. It breaks her heart that she didn’t get to watch them do it. That she didn’t get to see Jordan grow up.
“Oh everything,” Jordan says, a hint of the excitement she recognises from when they were still on the Eligius ship back in his voice. “You guys were my heroes growing up.”
He tells her that Monty and Harper were very honest in the stories they told him. He knew the facts, they didn’t sugarcoat anything. They told him they’d all done bad things to survive. They taught him to be better. Hearing the words come from Jordan but sounding so like the two friends she lost, finally brings a small smile to her face.
She’s hurting. But it’s helping.

is there a reason that awsten still refers to otto’s dad as “mr wood” as opposed to “dad?” like i totally get it if they’re not they close or he has trouble trusting adult males and all that stuff... it’s just not any /bad/ reasons right? 🥺 mr. wood seems like a good man..
nope, you got it! awsten’s just not super close with him and has pretty strong discomfort when it comes to men. he’s also at the age where he thinks it would be kind of awkward for him to feel a lot of love toward a man, so he keeps it on the dl even though he does, at some level, have a familial love for mr. wood tucked away.
and honestly, the two don’t have a close relationship more because of mr. wood than awsten. if i do write a part two, that will be explained. if not… remind me about it and i can talk about it here.
just a note, too - mrs. wood calls her husband “dad” in front of awsten now instead of “otto’s dad” when she refers to him. (“Okay, baby. Should I have Otto’s dad fix up the guest room for you, or do you want to stay in the bunk beds like usual?” on feb 24 vs march 14, when she says, “I’ll see you soon, sweetie. I’m here to talk any time. Dad, too, okay?”) awsten doesn’t and never will object to that. he doesn’t even think it’s that weird

(sorta off topic idk) did anyone ever think about how fucking offended murphy might be at clarke drawing him and emori in becca’s lab?? cause i know if that were me i’d be pissed as hell. like i get it — it was part of the memori plot this season, to have a moment where murphy is thinking about him and emori and missing her and all that. like that’s why the drawing was there. but actually? why the FUCK did clarke draw that??? that’s so??? she put them both through hell, making emori think she

Clarke literally took that moment when she was going to sacrifice Emori, the moment when she put Murphy through a living HELL and basically confirmed she was going to do the same thing to him next...She took that moment and drew that drawing, as if to say that when she thought of Memori during those 6 years, she thought of them in this horrible position that SHE PUT THEM IN. She could have drawn anything else, she could have drawn them embracing in Becca’s mansion while Murphy was cooking and dancing; she could have taken a HAPPY MOMENT that SHE WITNESSED, but instead took the moment that put Murphy through the worst emotional pain ever!
It’s FUCKED UP in every way imaginable!!

Top 5 murphamy moments so far (not including the leaked episodes idk if you’ve seen them lol)
Haven’t seen the leaked stuff because I don’t have the patience to wait a month between episode 2 and 3, I’d rather just wait with the whole thing and avoid spoilers like the plague!
Okay, so let’s go from the bottom to the top then, shall we!
5:
Okay so let’s start off with this first meeting! They don’t know each other. They’ve never met. But Bellamy immediately sees that Murphy is useful, and probably down to fuck, so he approaches him (and Mbege) and straight up asks Murphy to be his right hand man (if you know what I mean). Instant chemistry, though this is mostly just Bob and Richard. A very good way to start off me shipping murphamy more than anything else in this universe!

After being separated for months, and not parting on the best terms, Bellamy and Murphy are reunited when Murphy (as well as Pike and Indra), saves Bellamy & co. Bellamy probably thought Murphy was dead at this point, yet here he is, and you can just see the awe in Bellamy’s eyes as he looks at him! He is genuinely happy to see Murphy, despite everything that happened between them in the past!

I had to think a bit about which “Murphy rescues Bellamy” scene I like better, but I settled on this one. Because in this scene, Murphy hanged Bellamy just a few days ago! Less than a week! Murphy wanted to kill Bellamy then, for what he did to him (or at least that’s what he said), and now he has the chance. He could easily have let go, and say that the seatbelt slipped out of his grip. He had the chance to kill Bellamy, to get his revenge, and he didn’t. He dragged him and that girl up, earning back some of Bellamy’s trust.
And a few moments later, Bellamy trusts him enough to give him a gun! This moment right here is when their broken relationship begins to mend!
2:
The elevator scene! First of, because of the way they look at each other before the fighting begin! I mean, look at them! They’re on the same side, fighting to free those they care about, and after Murphy just saved Bellamy mere minutes earlier (see nr 4), there is actual trust.
Now, going in there, Bellamy specified that they would be using non-lethal force, because these people were being controlled by Alie. And yet when Murphy was being strangled by a man from the Ark, Bellamy didn’t hesitate to shoot him. He killed someone to save Murphy’s life! After everything, after them trying to kill each other, after hating Murphy for how long, Bellamy killed one of his own people to save him! It still blows my mind every time!
1:
This entire scene! Bellamy going to see Murphy on his side of the ship, when no one else will. Him complimenting Murphy’s punch, rather than getting mad. Bellamy and Murphy being friends, after six years together! They resolved all their issues in a healthy way, and now Bellamy is genuinely concerned about Murphy’s mental health. He tries to convince him to come back, tells him he’s not worthless, and is generally just being a good friend! He’s being exactly what Murphy needs, and their relationship is by far one of the healthiest on the show in season 5!

4. First concert you went to?
I saw McFly when I was like 12 or so with my parents? But I didn’t even really like McFly. My first real concert was actually 8 years ago yesterday, My Chemical Romance in Glasgow, I don’t think I will ever forget that date ahaha.14. Best concert you’ve been to?
Best I think was Panic! at the Disco on their Vices and Virtues tour only a few months after I saw MCR, which was WILD.
22. Have you ever caught a guitar pick, drumstick, got a setlist, etc.?
My friends and I caught Andy Biersack’s water bottle at a Black Veil Brides concert but she took it home, not me. I have however had Pete Wentz hold my hand so I think that’s better.
10. Worst opening act you’ve seen?
Oh there are many but I think the worst was LostAlone supporting MCR. They were… hm.
1. How many concerts have you been to?
McFly, MCR, BVB, FOB, PATD x 3, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Pretty Reckless, Leeds fest 2011 (inc 30STM & MCR again) and Hans Zimmer! So like 11 or though I feel like I’ve forgotten some!
