Prompt time… MC catches Robin in the middle of a murder, and is terrified!
A shadowy tendril catches MC from behind, knocking them unconscious and safely catching them before they hit the ground as Robin looks at them apologetically.
"Ah...apologies, dearest. You stumbled onto something you shouldn't have."
They come to later, safely curled up on a couch in the library, and Robin is assuring them they just had a bad dream, they're safe and sound. He's all worry and soft touches, soothing away the initial panic, and offers to listen to their "nightmare."
And they can't help but think that it must have been a nightmare. Robin? Committing a murder? The man doesn't even kill the bugs that get into the library. They've been pretty exhausted lately, it doesn't surprise them that they dozed off while basking in that warm comfort.
He escorts them safely home, pressing a kiss to their cheek and letting them know he's just a text message away if they need anything.
