Just curious what the average level of personal investment in these sorts of things is. Like, how much do people usually get into silly stuff like this their friends ask of them? etc. etc. Which I know, only surveying a small sample on a very specific website means I'm not getting an exact average idea lol, but.. curious nonetheless .. Maybe reblog for bigger sample size but also this is not very serious at all/not worth a call to action gbhjbhjb

#which I know this could be context dependent like.. maybe you'd normally dress up but on a week that #you feel sick you wouldn't or etc. etc. - but I mean.. GENERALLY. in the most general average scenario #where you have the average amount of health and free time that you always do. etc. just based on your personality #and level of investment in these things - what on AVERAGE are you most inclined to do #also of course assume they communicate with you ahead of time and are not like planning a part last minute #like 'throw together costume in 5 hours and show up tonight randomly' or etc. I would hope that if we're going with the #AVERAGE of things - most people's friends have better communication skills than springing entire parties #on people last minute lol #assume you have like.. a few days-a week or so to prepare. however ealrly people usually start talking about #birthdays. In my experience it's usually one or two weeks ahead of time. Personalities of my Sinister Six

Doc Ock: Hothead, and insane. He's basically the exact opposite of his normal self. He's very manipulative and cold towards others. He’s also very tired all the time. (Mainly he’s tired of everyone else in the Six.)

The Lizard: He's lazy and rude. Basically he doesn't care about anyone except himself and he's often a nuisance to others around him. He clashes a lot with (his boyfriend) Doc Ock. He has the personality of a cat and he acts like one too.

Mysterio: Basically an anime rich girl taken to the extreme.

Vulture: Crazy old man who's too old for this. (Physically and mentally.) (He’s the guys who screams at clouds.)

He's often very quiet and done with the rest of the Sinister Six's drama or he's losing his mind due to how old he is.

Electro: Basically he has the same personality he did in TASM 2, but with a bit of that No Way Home spark since he's been brought back.

Green Goblin: Basically emotionally broken due to everything that happened to him in

TASM 2. He still wants to get revenge on Peter and he basically helped to build the Sinister Six by force. He's cunning and knows how to build a team but due to his age and who he is related to, he often gets treated like a kid.

Doc Ock and Green Goblin alternate between leading the Sinister Six. It basically depends on the day.

omg another anon!! welcome to the askbox. ive been so so lonely here :( only able to catch a few angsty ideas once in a while

anyways, the urge to make angst of the background character friend group has taken over.

Tang made friends with the background characters because he feels like he fits in better there. Because he feels like he doesn't do enough to count as a main character, as someone who is important.

(Weird fact: For some reason, as soon as I start writing out ideas, grammar just assaults me and for the rest of the ask, I have to type with correct capitalization.)

You are so good at utilizing ideas for angst meanwhile I was just like “oh let’s give him random friends lol” 😭😭

LIKE-

These two? Oh that’s Amanda and Míngzé, they met in a library. He worked part time there while Amanda was studying abroad and they opened a book shop near Tangs old home!

These guys? Ping (I got the name from an lmk fic sue me :,>) and his grandson Bo. Ping is one of the scholars that worked alongside Tang, and would often invite him for a game of chess. After so many invites Tang is just considered a family friend! (And still has yet to win a game.)

This dude? Yeah no one knows his real name, he just insists everyone calls him Mac. He delivers the produce for Pigsys and that how he got acquainted with Tang! They found a shared love for history and meet with Amanda and Míngzé every Tuesday at the bookstore to discuss the latest historical facts or legends they’ve read up on.

And you guys remember them? Yeah, you love em, SHOESTORE PERSON. Aka Qian. After being scared out of so many jobs, they took up a part time at the bookstore! (And I’ve decided they are a disguised fish demon, because I can, and tang can’t be the only demon in this au sk hah)

Boom, friend group achieved.
