The novel tells the story of high school senior Chloe Green who seeks to uncover why Shara Wheeler, the most popular girl in school, vanished on prom night soon after kissing Chloe. Chloe collaborates with Shara’s next-door neighbor, Rory, and boyfriend, Smith, to follow the series of notes Shara left them before her disappearance. Written on pink stationery and placed in meaningful locations, the notes provide clues as to where to find the next note and why she disappeared.

Red White and Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston
Tumblr media
Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston is, arguably, one of the best books I have ever read. A story of Alex, The First Prince of the United States and Henry, the Prince of England and their tumultuous journey of falling irrevocably in love. It is a book that perfectly captures their story of not only same-sex love but also the uncertainties of falling in love, the highs and lows that come with it and the very beautiful, immense feeling of being in love.
It's one of the best enemies-to-lovers books that I have read. I have, in fact, read it more than five times till date, and I am sure to read more. The book is comfort to me- a safe space with bubbly and wholesome writing that perfectly condenses a romcom style sappiness into words. There's a lot of things that are put to stake at the end of the book, which hooks the reader till the very last page. McQuiston has you rooting for the characters, keeps you asking, "will they, won't they?".
“Thinking about history makes me wonder how I’ll fit into it one day, I guess. And you too. I kinda wish people still wrote like that. History, huh? Bet we could make some.”
I would recommend this to anyone who loves a classic romance story with a hint of added spice to it. Great characters; smooth, connective writing, and a wonderful plot make this book a must have for anyone.
Rating: ★★★★★(5/5)

Casey McQuiston’s One Last Stop is a magical, sexy, big-hearted romance where the impossible becomes possible as August does everything in her power to save the girl lost in time.

https://www.tumblr.com/ididthistofollowthefreetag/725659155574210560?source=share they made the exact same thing to kit connor last year and they forced him to come out, while the show hes part of was dealing precisely with it aswell... when will people learn
sometimes twitter can be right. and yeah, i heard about what happened to kit connor—i don't watch heartstopper, but i found it absolutely appalling. it's not a moral failing to keep your identity private. we should be judging stories based on how engaging, well-written and coherent they are, not on the identities of the people who have participated in bringing the story to life. it's genuinely none of anyone's fucking business.

People mad cause the actors are older than expected. Me happy cause this will avoid the sexualization of people in their early 20s.
