astro observations
Hi besties,
I have been studying and learning astrology for the past 4 years and this is my first astro observation, I have many yet to come. 🦊
Highlights: purpose, north node, neptune, jupiter, sun, mercury, fame, minor aspects, degrees, squares, moon, orbits.
  ------
⭐️ Jupiter positive aspects to moon and sun especially conjunction makes someone smile a lot, or have a beautiful bright smile. You can't help but smile when they do. 🥺
⭐️ Mars conjunct Uranus or Neptune is definitely the "performer" aspect. It gives huge talent in dance and performance in general, so many iconic performers have this aspect. Uranus, unique way of moving the body and expressing oneself that can't be compared to no one. Neptune, mesmerizing way of moving and expressing emotion that can be addictive.
⭐️ Mercury conjunct Neptune is definitely the "signer" aspect. It gives enormous musical talent. Other positive/negative aspects give someone huge love for music and dance.
⭐️ Mercury aspecting North Node, an urge to use your voice through speaking or writing, singers, lawyers, journalists, tv show hosts and people who have to speak a lot, especially if aspecting MC too.
⭐️ Sun making any aspect to North Node (minor aspects included) is one of the biggest indicators of fame, especially square, quincunx, opposite and conjunct. This aspect means that the native has something that the public outwardly needs to elevate the collective, whether it's in their personality, outlook on life or a skill they have. One of the native's purpose is to put themselves out there and receive feedback whether positive or negative. The effect and feedback is rather visible, loud and changeable.
⭐️ Mars aspecting North node can also indicate public exposure especially when taking action like dancing, performing, acting, doing sports etc.
⭐️ The biggest indicator of fame imo is Neptune aspecting North Node (minor aspects included) especially square, trine, sextile, quintile, and quincunx. Keep in mind that this does not always have to mean the usual concept of "fame", but rather an influence on the public and a subconscious push and pull to it. The native usually has talents or rather energies that the collective needs, looks up to and admires. The native is influencing the collective for a subconscious change in behaviors, thoughts and ways of living. The effect and feedback is rather mysterious, fantasy based, obsessive and long term.
⭐️ Neptune here can sometimes mean toxic admiration like seeing someone as an absolute perfection which can lead both the public and the native to distorted perceptions and harmful coping mechanisms.
⭐️ Neptune trine, sextile, square MC tends to be in the chart of actors and musicians, neptune opposite, conjunct MC tends to be in the chart of models and tv personalities.
⭐️ Now if the native has both sun and neptune aspecting north node in a tight degree, possibly MC too. Oh boi, they have an excruciatingly strong urge and sense of purpose since a young age to be in the public eye and share parts of themselves and talents with people. They likely knew their purpose since a young age and trusted the universe. That's because part of their purpose is to receive "outer validation" using the skills and talents they acquired for their soul evolution. The feedback is what keeps them going. If they become too egoistic and forget their purpose they can receive major backlash and hate from the public, especially harsh aspects.
⭐️ Jupiter opposite/square moon, either too optimistic or too pessimistic with a hint of helpless optimism and sarcasm. (trust me I have this) :< It can also mean emotions surfacing and expanding out of nowhere. Wanting to understand your emotions. There's always a meaning for feeling a certain way, even if you don't know it.
⭐️ Also any Jupiter moon or mercury aspects, especially conjunctions, if someone tells you how they feel, you immediately start your philosophy session (I'm guilty of it) 💀 but in all fairness tho, you're always right or partially right about it. These aspects give this broad perspectives and understanding of life, although you can take it too far sometimes, given that they also didn't ask lol.
⭐️ When looking at your North Node, MC and Ascendant aspects it's essential to look at all minor aspects too and increase the orbs. Any aspect to these three points is relevant to your life and purpose. These are imo the most important points to look at in a chart. Minor aspects matter and matter a lot especially with the nodes.
⭐️ I disagree with astrologers saying that squares to the nodes are "skipped steps from a previous life", they are rather tense aspects that call the individual to take action consistently early on in life or suddenly at some point because the world won't wait for them and the timing is sensitive with the squares to the nodes. Especially if saturn is also involved in the mix. Individuals might feel that time stopped at a certain point or time won't stop and they need to act quickly.
⭐️ The north node is where we stand in the collective in terms of energy and perception. With squares and oppositions, not as flexible or free as trines and sextiles. The collective's world has many differences to the native's inner world, perception of the world or life in general. The energy matches at certain times where the universe nudges or forces these individual to take action or change something in their lives, and it's rather a difficult and transformative change (this applies to transits too). These aspects give me the feeling of your turn coming "too early or too late", either before the native is ready or after they gave up already.
⭐️ I advice that if you use astro.com to increase the orbs of the aspects to 145%. You can also do that if you use astro charts. Even though tight orbs are more prominent and obvious, wide orbs are very important too and still mean the exact same thing. They almost always answer my questions about a certain chart pattern that's missing! I take conjunctions and oppositions up to 13° sometimes 15°, trines and squares up to 12°, sextiles up to 9°, quincunxes up to 9, and quintiles up to 4°.
Love y'all 💛💛💛

Note
I’ve discovered on Astro.Com the “Reduce/increased orbs” thing and more aspects come up when I put them a higher numbers. I wonder if extremely low the orb still is significant. Like -12 for example. I don’t know much about orbs like that.
Orbs over 10° aren’t used by professional astrologers. Aspects with orbs under 4° are significant. Aspects with orbs under 2° are the MOST significant
Here’s a post on orbs:

Guys we really need to solve this, right here, right now
(Orb degrees)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How large you go for orbs when you look at your aspects?? For example having a trine at 6° or 7° orb? Is kinda far for a trine?
I know everyone goes for orbs differently and I know it can go to some extent
For me honestly it goes this way
Everything that aspects my Sun or Moon I go for extent orbs til 9° or 10° orbs
Everything that aspects my Ascendant honestly I go for larger orbs aswell at least 7° or 8° orbs since ascendant has also a very big importance in a chart
For conjunctions i go for at least 8° or 9° larger degrees orb
For sextile/trine i aslo go for at least 5°/6° or 7° degrees orb
For square/opposition I got usually for a 7° degree orb usually because squares have a big influence on you even at large orb degrees
IMPORTANT:
I also want to mention when you look at orbs degrees on astro com, press on this: (Additional tables) because it shows the accurate calculating orb degrees

Exploring the Tolerance of Astrological Aspects
~Orb Sizes in Astrology
Tumblr media
Navigation:   Masterlist✦Ask Rules✦Feedback Tips
       Askbox✦Sources✦Paid Readings
This text is from one of my handouts from my course "Astrologia Autência with Marcelo Levi", so even with some changes (because the text is in Portuguese and I had to translate it)... it's practically a copy and paste, I won't deny.
Tumblr media
An astrological aspect refers to the angle between two planets. When this angle is exact, it is known as an "exact aspect" or "partile aspect." However, there is a tolerance, known as the orb, within which the aspect can occur between two celestial bodies.
Astrologers have different opinions on the size of orbs for aspects and planets. I will present the most widely accepted orb sizes and recommend using and practicing them for a few years before forming your own opinion.
Orb sizes for aspects are as follows:
Conjunction and opposition: 10 degrees
Square and trine: 8 degrees
Sextile: 6 degrees
Quincunx: 3 degrees
Semisextile and other minor aspects: 3 degrees
For example, a square is a 90-degree angle, and the orb for a square is 8 degrees. If the Sun is in Capricorn at 10 degrees and Pluto is in Libra at 12 degrees, the distance between them is 88 degrees. Therefore, a square aspect between the Sun and Pluto is occurring.
To determine if an aspect is present, the angle between the two celestial bodies needs to be within the orb of the aspect, as well as within the orb of the respective planets.
Orb sizes for planets are as follows:
Sun and Moon (luminaries): 10 to 12 degrees
Mercury, Venus, and Mars: 8 to 10 degrees
Jupiter and Saturn: 6 to 8 degrees
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto: 4 to 6 degrees (some astrologers use up to 8 degrees)
Nodes, Chiron, and other asteroids: 3 to 5 degrees
Lilith: 3 degrees (only conjunction and opposition are considered as other aspects have less significant effects)
Therefore, the orb sizes for aspects between planets can be summarized as follows:
CONJUNCTION
Angle: 0 degrees (planets in the same sign)
Orb between Sun and Moon, and each other: 10 to 12 degrees
Orb from Mercury to Mars, and each other: 8 to 10 degrees
Orb from Jupiter to Pluto, and each other: 6 to 8 degrees
Chiron's orb and other asteroids: 3 to 5 degrees (and their orb needs to touch the other planet)
Lilith's orb: 3 degrees (Lilith's orb needs to touch the other planet)
OPPOSITION
Angle: 180 degrees (planets in opposite signs)
Orb between Sun and Moon, and each other: 10 to 12 degrees
Orb from Mercury to Mars, and each other: 8 to 10 degrees
Orb from Jupiter to Pluto, and each other: 6 to 8 degrees
Chiron's orb and other asteroids: 3 to 5 degrees (and their orb needs to touch the other planet)
Lilith's orb: 3 degrees (Lilith's orb needs to touch the other planet)
SQUARE
Angle: 90 degrees (planets in signs with the same modality)
Orb between Sun and Moon, and each other: 8 to 10 degrees
Orb from Mercury to Mars, and each other: 6 to 8 degrees
Orb from Jupiter to Pluto, and each other: 4 to 6 degrees
Chiron's orb and other asteroids: 3 to 5 degrees (and their orb needs to touch the other planet)
Lilith's orb: 3 degrees (Lilith's orb needs to touch the other planet, but doesn't produce significant effects)
TRINE
Angle: 120 degrees (planets in signs of the same element)
Orb between Sun and Moon, and each other: 8 to 10 degrees
Orb from Mercury to Mars, and each other: 6 to 8 degrees
Orb from Jupiter to Pluto, and each other: 4 to 6 degrees
Chiron's orb and other asteroids: 3 to 5 degrees (and their orb needs to touch the other planet)
Lilith's orb: 3 degrees (Lilith's orb needs to touch the other planet, but doesn't produce significant effects)
SEXTILE
Orb from Sun to Mars, and each other: 4 to 6 degrees
Orb from Jupiter to Pluto, and each other: 2 to 4 degrees
Chiron's orb and other asteroids: 3 to 5 degrees (and their orb needs to touch the other planet)
Lilith's orb: 3 degrees (Lilith's orb needs to touch the other planet, but doesn't produce significant effects)
For example:
If you are analyzing an aspect between the Sun and Saturn, and it is a conjunction, the Sun has an orb of 12 degrees. It will form a conjunction with Saturn if they are up to 12 degrees apart and in the same sign. Saturn's orb does not need to touch the Sun for the aspect to occur.
If you are analyzing an aspect between Saturn and Pluto, and it is a conjunction, the orb between them is from 6 to 8 degrees. They need to be within this distance to form a conjunction and in the same sign.
If you are analyzing a sextile aspect between Saturn and Pluto, they would need to be up to the 2 or 4 degree apart (the specific limit depends on the astrologer).
If you are analyzing an aspect between Venus and Lilith, only conjunctions and oppositions produce significant effects. The orb needs to be up to 3 degrees to form an aspect with Venus or any other planet.
If you are analyzing an aspect between Chiron or any other asteroid with another planet, they must be within an orb of up to 3 to 5 degrees of each other.
Regarding orb size, I personally use larger orbs as it makes more sense to me. Historically, astrologers used aspects by sign, meaning that it was enough for two planets to be in signs of the same element to be considered in trine aspect, for example. This is my argument in favor of larger orbs.
In terms of the strength of an aspect, the exact aspects are the strongest. The further an aspect is from exactness, the weaker it becomes, but it still exists.
THE USE OF ORBS IN ASTROLOGY PROGRAMS:
Astro.com is already configured to display orbs based on what they consider to be most acceptable. However, it uses large orbs, and it's not possible to manually adjust the orb size for individual planets.
This poses a challenge when analyzing aspects to asteroids because the program may show multiple aspect lines to them that are not valid in reality due to exaggerated orbs.
While it is possible to decrease the overall orb size, it affects all aspects together since we can only adjust the percentage of orb coverage.
The Pegasus program (a paid program with a free version and trial period) allows for individual adjustment of each orb. However, it does not display aspects to Chiron and Lilith, which is unfortunate. Additionally, there may be limitations on the number of additional planets we can add, such as Juno or Eros.
Therefore, it is essential to always scrutinize which aspects truly exist and which ones do not, and to be aware of any aspects that the program may fail to display but should be considered.

𝓟𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓮𝓽𝓼, 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓜𝓸𝓸𝓷 & 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓞𝓻𝓫 𝓡𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮 ˚⊱🦋⊰˚
🩷Admittedly, in my years of practicing astrology I've not placed much importance on aspects beyond glaringly obvious ones. I've often felt that aspects can become a very technical way to explain energies that may be better understood through looking at the rest of the chart from a bigger picture perspective.
Yes, looking at squares, sextiles, etc. can provide insight but to me personally it can sometimes feel like getting 'lost' in the details, especially when it is unclear what counts as an aspect and what doesn't. Sort of similar to when people start looking to the endless, ever expanding range of astroids (eros, valentine, aphrodite, cupido, vesta, etc.) to intuit someone's approach in love, when realistically Venus & Mars alone can provide incredible, personal insight.
However, all of that being said, aspects are still a very valuable tool to use when analysing a chart, and understanding how to come to a consensus about defining what 'counts' as an aspect can be benefical.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A lot of people only consider aspects to be significant if the orb is verry tight (for some the cut off is as small as 3°), and this is a reasonable approach, as otherwise there would be way too many aspects to interpret and the major themes highlighted in any given chart would get a little lost. Though, I just want to shed light on a pattern I've seen in my research/observations-
In my experience (and traditionally), aspects, particularly conjunctions should be given an orb range relative to how fast moving the planet/astrological point is. *I want to note that this isn't by any means a new idea, but I just don't see it being talked about much.
This means that the Moon & ascendant especially, being very fast moving, can find themselves affected to a much greater extent by surrounding/aspecting planets even if they are somewhat far away. It's already known that the luminaries are to be given a wider orb range, but I've seen conjunctions especially have an even wider range of influence on a chart's Moon or ascendant than what is typically thought.
The way fast moving planets demonstrate stronger sensitivity to aspects can be understood if you think of how a child is going to be profoundly influenced by the teachings and energies of the adults around them, since they haven't lived very long yet and have little other experience to go off.
In contrast, someone who is very old has been around for a long time and has seen many things (planets) come and go while they stay the same, so these influences really don't phase them. Saturn is barely going to be affected by the Moon even if there is a 0° conjunction, but the always 'new', ever changing, fluctuating, watery nature of the Moon can feel Saturn's influence very intensely even if it's fairly far away.
I don't think it'd be particularly helpful/ideal to refer to every planet remotely close to the Moon (or ascendant) as a conjunction (especially considering how different Nakshatras bring very different energies to the table), but that doesn't mean the influence should be entirely discounted. Moon & asc in particular call for a more open minded, flexible approach when it comes to reading surrounding energies. My understanding of people through astrology has really expanded by being more aware of how sensitive vs un-phased the planets themselves are and adjusting my interpretations accordingly.
As mentioned earlier this definitely isn't a new idea or anything, but I do think that it's a good/interesting reminder to observe natal charts as if the planets in it are sentient (as they are) and have different ways of responding to the rest of the chart. I've seen people go 'my Moon is 16° away from Jupiter so it doesn't count as a conjunction' and then go on to completely disregard Jupiter's influence on the Moon when in reality, there's no real cut off point of influence. Yes, it may not technically be a conjunction, but the influence is still there.
Our charts are like an ecosystem, full of life & completely interconnected. All of the energies are fluid, constantly interacting, alive. There's no real numerical point where suddenly there is 0 effect, but we assign numerical points to loosely create a necessary distinction between energies & highlight the aspects which are especially strong,
To give an example of what I'm getting at, if you have the Moon at 2° Libra, and Venus is at say, 28° Libra; this is a 26° orb.. technically, wayy too large to be considered a conjunction, but I believe that completely discounting the way Venus' presence may influence the mind & heart of this person would be a mistake. Yes, it will definitely not be as strong as a conjunction with an extremely close orb, but it's still close enough to be felt by the Moon, being a very energetically porous, receptive, psychic planet.
I may have to go back and edit this later, I'm very tired and I'm not sure if I'm communicating the concept as best as possible, but for now, thankyou for reading & I hope this provides valuable insight/a new perspective for someone 🩷

kinda random but i have asteroid tantalus at FORTY ONE DEGREES of declination???? i'm shocked lol that's so out of orb it's crazy - side note: the right term is out of bound but i have an habit of calling it out of orb including my older posts lmao. just for you to have a notion: my asteroid tantalus is conjuncting my other asteroid young with a 0° orb and my asteroid young is in the 23° degree of declination (out of orb too)
in case you don't know, declination is the measure of a planet/angle/object's latitude - apart from the flat plane we see our chart usually when it shows the normal degrees that is measuring the longitude - in this perspective is represented projected through the ecliptic equator of earth. this is a vertent of astrology that's pretty cool to analyse and it helped me a lot to fill my chart researches.
with declination, we can mainly look at the two "missing" aspects: parallel and contral-parallel, the first has the effect of a conjunction but with only the positive traits (which i presonally consider kind of a trine but a lil bit stronger specially if tight) and the latter has the same effect of an opposition but not as strong.
now about the out of bound (or out of orb like i like to say but i know is wrong 😭) part, is basically the degree of declinations of planets/angles/objects that are further from the maximal declination of the sun (23°26'), and this gives them a totally different energy that can be both good and bad. i'm gonna detail this on other post maybe... so guys, 41° is really wild lmaooo specially considering what tantalus represents. for you guys to have another notion, my boy's tantalus is in the same sign of mine really close to it but its declination is 4° 💀
anyways let's end with the praying bart because if my theory is right then the hole is way downer then i thought. actually i'm thinking of so many theories about this matter lately and i'm anxious to do so but scared of people's reactions to be honest, i just need to put my thoughts in order inside my head first and read a little more so let's be patient with myself
Tumblr media
obs: please if you do not believe or study or whatever with declinations and anything on here, just pass ahead, i am not trying to force anything of what i believe to anyone and i am not a professional. i'm just doing it as a hobbie and because i have fun doing this, i love gathering knowledge about this and i do believe in this matter, it makes sense to me, but i totally respect who doesn't and you should respect me. and remember: many of astrology is unknown and a mystery, and it doesn't matter for how many years you've studied and read, you'll never know everything and you'll never be the absolute truth. the key to astrology is having an open mind and trying to see beyond the surface and the obvious or the stereotypes sorry for the ranting lol

I loved your POF explanation!! I noticed that my POF is squared Chiron & Saturn and trine Mars. I feel like that is too much bad luck 😣 Am I cursed?
Thank you love! and well there's 2 things to consider
1. How wide are the orbs of these aspects? the closer to 0, the more potent the energy of that aspect is within your life, any aspect that's not within an orb of 4 I don't review for much consideration.
2. What is the placement of your jupiter? The part of fortune is an Arabic point that's calculated by intersecting lines that are compromised of our big 3 but it is not an astrological body like jupiter so Jupiter is a much more potent indicator of "luck."
Most traditional astrologers don't even use the POF because we have Jupiter, I only mentioned the POF because the way modern astrologers use the POF takes away from jupiter which isn't really fair, if you wanna know know how you can become wealthy, more jovial and overall satisfactory in life, PLEASE look at jupiter and your 11th house. The POF has less to do with luck and more to do with "circumstance." Some circumstances by house placement can be challenging but a happy jupiter In the chart can alleviate this or bring you out of those challenging circumstances. Just because you're experiencing challenges in one area of your life (for example: pof in the 8th) does not mean you're not experiencing some good luck in another area that's making those area of challenges (like jupiter In the 11th house, the 11th house talks about divine intervention) less challenging
I have my pof in the 12th house so for me this can describe challenging fortune but my jupiter is conjunct my descendant/7th house(an angular house) and trining my mars at an orb of 0 alleviating and being able to navigate through those challenges or meeting people who help me through the challenges. I would never tell myself that because i've had a few challenging circumstances in life that i have "bad luck" because having a well aspected POF does not guarantee you won't have challenges in life, the entire chart is still up for review just like having a poorly aspected POF doesn't guarantee you won't experience luck in life because once again the whole chart (and jupiter) is up for consideration.
Hope this helps xx

Jessica Adams’ (astrologer) predictions for 2023 have been published. ‘THE ROYAL FAMILY - March 2023 sees the biggest reshuffle in the Royal Family since King George III was replaced by George IV as Prince Regent in his place. Charles and Camilla will not be King and Queen’.
Was this your prediction too HOB?
https://www.jessicaadams.com/2022/12/29/blog/astrology-predictions-for-2023/
Tumblr media
No. And I think she's full of shit after reading her posts on the subject.
1. Charles & Camilla already ARE king and queen. Saying Charles & Camilla won’t be king & queen at this point is like saying Joe Biden won’t be president. Biden already is. Charles & Camilla already are.
2. This is a great example of a western astrologer who is unable to let go of the War of the Waleses back in the 90s. Why? Because she talks about Diana at length in this post: https://www.jessicaadams.com/2022/09/24/blog/charles-astrology-and-the-royal-family/
Diana is dead. She’s been dead for more than 25 years. And Jessica Adams cannot let go of pr shenanigans that happened back then.
When I finished reading her post--the one titled “Charles, Astrology and the Royal Family”--one of my first thoughts was what a shame it was that Diana only sought the advice of western astrologers and never any Vedic/Hindu astrologers. Any Vedic astrologer could have told her she was at risk of a serious car accident in 1997. Dr. K. S. Charak detailed it out in one of his Varshaphala books. I have no doubt there were decent Vedic astrologers living in London in the late 1990s. Diana just didn’t have the brains to visit one.
Jessica Adams is someone who is clearly clinging to Diana in an unhealthy fashion. Charles is going to be anointed king. Camilla is going to be anointed as queen consort. Jessica Adams needs to let go of all the fantasies that astrologers and other people have placed on William as a result of Diana’s slagging her husband in the press.
3. While we’re at it, I can’t get over the fact that this astrologer talked about Meghan & little Lilibet in 2031 in her post about Lilibet Diana’s chart. I am 100% certain that Meghan isn’t going to be around in 2031, and I’m 95% certain that little Lilibet isn’t going to be around in 2031. (The only reason why I can’t bring myself to write 100% at this point is because a kid dying between the ages of 5 and 6 is a tragedy.) And yet, Jessica Adams is convinced that 2031 is relevant for Lili & Meghan because “her marriage to Harry and her control of that.”

what’s your orb allowance for aspects? aquarius jupiter conjunct aquarius uranus 10° for example?😎😍😎😍
varies hugely for me honestly since so much of my reading is more intuitive and less formulaic BUT usually not more than 5 or so on either side. possible exceptions for big huge vibes, in this case uranus is in domicile and jupiter is always big, so maybe you can feel the conjunction even 10 degrees out! especially if you're like, an aquarius or sagittarius rising. i'm simply not prescriptive about it but i have noticed that the most noticeable vibes are always in the tighter orbs with just these small exceptions for rulerships & such.
also the faster it moves (personal planets, the moon) the less i am likely to stick to a tiny orb. pluto hardly moves, or something like eris even less, so they get very tiny orbs most of the time.
the less influential it is (eg an asteroid like eros compared to the native's ruling planet) it gets a smaller/tighter orb.
transits get bigger orbs than natal orbs, although i'm not sure whether this is a me thing or a commonplace thing.

The lower an orb degree is the stronger the aspect is and the more importance the aspect has in your chart
An orb number shows how many degrees away an aspect is from being exact — for ex: an exact conjunction would be planets that are exactly 0.00° apart but, if it’s 1° away from being exact then the orb number would be 1°
There isn’t a generally agreed upon limit to orbs that every astrologer uses
Majority of astrologers only use the following orbs:
》 conjunctions; orb 0°-10°
》 trines, sextiles, squares, and oppositions; orb 0°-6°
》 aspects to luminaries (sun & moon); orb 0°-10°
This is what an exact aspect at orb 0.00° looks like
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
》 You have to make sure the angular minutes also say 00 after the degree symbol (°) and that it says applying (a) for it to be an EXACT aspect
》 If you don’t know how to check these click here

I can't say i m new to astrology but i m still learning. so i have moon opp saturn in 8 deg orb and i sometimes feel like i do not relate to it but then sometimes i do??? is it that i have an illusion because of my 4th house neptune that everything is going fine sigh i m just so confused. does the energy in not the tight orb show slow? you can answer this if you want to! i hope you have a good day ahead.
(tbh i have cap ic and cap moon too...?)
I believe up to 8 degree orbs do count, especially with conjunctions, oppositions and squares for inner planets, since they all contain an intense amount of energy. Maybe with trines, but since the energy is already hard to discern, the native may be more unaware of their gifts.
Between 8 and 10 degree orbs with the big 3 (Sun/Moon/Rising) only, I do take into account, but I do agree with you that the energy shows slower/more subtle. These aspects need to be supplemented by other aspects/placements in order to show through obviously, such as your capricorn IC, or maybe a transit during that time. So! I do think you’re feeling the energy of that 8 degree orb, plus you have that cap moon+IC, it’s very likely you relate to the Moon opposite Saturn as an aspect.
Your 4H Neptune may have something to do with that hazy recollection, though it doesn’t necessarily tell you everything is fine, everything is just harder to decipher with Neptune there, and it calls for introspection. You may not think you relate to this aspect and its difficulties, and that’s fine! There could be other placements that counteract this.

The moment you look at wide orbs that are "too wide to be important" all the nuance in a natal chart starts to make sense idc idc

MERCURY NOVILE VENUS:
TENDENCIES: Rejoicing in the beauty of one’s thoughts, in the rationality of one’s values, and in one’s ability to communicate charmingly and persuasively.
TALENTS: You have a gift for developing a style of communication and an aesthetic sensitivity that is clear and beautiful. You can capture a wholesome, “unadulterated” beauty in words and in anything you do. You can bring an uplifting and healing quality through your attraction to a life that expresses kindness and beauty and transcends sophistry and intellectualism by speaking, or expressing yourself in other ways, directly from the heart.
This aspect really emphasizes singing ability.
