Luffy, Ace and Sabo all being the same age.
Luffy's life pretty much gets pushed forward by 3 years.
They all form their own crews, the Spades, the Strawhats and the Clover pirates.
Sabo's crew will consist of Jessie, Kei, Haru, Hyena, Valkyrie, Ego and Luca.
The ASL all head in different directions, north for Luffy, south for Sabo and west for Ace.
Ace blazes through everything and within a year is a whitebeard pirate. Sabo and his crew are last they end up pretty well known for helping anyone who needs it and overthrow a tyrannical government or two, this catches Dragons attention.
Ace won't die in this so Sabo will get a paramecia that gives him psychic powers.
Jessie is the swordsman, doctor and the user of the angle angle no mi giving him healing abilities. Kei is the gunmen and first mate. Haru is a Fishman and the navigator. Hyena is the second mate and the accountant. Valkyrie is the weapons expert and the mechanic. Ego is the chef. And Luca is the helmsman.
The brothers meet up right after Luffy kills Kaido and ascends to Godhood. They party for 2 days straight.

I hardly ever do human AUs or even human redesigns but after seeing some other human designs I thought I'd make an attempt with DJ. And then what was supposed to be a quick sketch turned into a three panel comic with a nonsensical backstory, which is below the cut.
Reader and DJ are friends, probably since childhood. Both are into music and frequent a local underground club. DJ is pretty quiet and shy, so he creates the DJ Music Man persona to break himself out of his shell, letting him act more confident during his performances.
Reader doesn't realize DJ Music Man is DJ and is less than impressed with his boisterous attitude when he tries to impress them. DJ realizes this and assumes (incorrectly) that this means Reader would never be into HIM being himself.
What can I say, I'm a sucker for someone trying to be something they're not in order to win the affection of someone they could have just ASKED at any time.
Though, overall, not sure how much I like this story. I prefer DJ to use ASL but there's just no way the mixup would happen if he did. There's little chance of it happening as it is, given that DJ is incredibly tall and huge, just his silhouette would give the game away. I know we all love our dense Reader-inserts but for this story to work the poor thing is gonna have to be doing their perception checks with a 1-sided dice.
Also I know next to nothing about underground music clubs, independent music, DJing, music genres, raving, or music in general really, and that would become PAINFULLY obvious if I wrote this out, assuming it isn't already. :P
Additional note, DJ has 3 younger brothers, triplets, based on the Lil' Music Men.
But yeah. I'm unlikely to create anything else of substance in this AU, so if the design or concept inspires you, then do what you wish with it! :D

Winterhawk Samplers: Kidfic
And then there were children. Clint blames the magic. Or possibly the former marriage. Alternatively, it was that shady alternate universe's fault. Regardless, suddenly, Clint and/or Bucky are responsible for tiny humans, and hey, dumpster fire tendencies aside, it doesn't always go so bad. Is it because Clint's canon backstory helps him know exactly what to avoid when raising a kid, or did Bucky help his ma with his sisters back in the forties? Or is it just that Clint's kind of eternally part child anyways? The verdict is still out.

Why this one? This fic utilizes the age-regression trope to help Bucky and Clint realize that each others' competence extends beyond the battlefield, and each others' compassion extends, perhaps, to each other. The author also manages to capture some really key, heart-string tugging characterizations in the tiny versions of the team.

Why this one? This fic exemplifies another common trope in winterhawk: adopting all the strays. Both Clint and Bucky identify with being left behind, and are equally determined not to let that happen to these kids, no matter how difficult it is as C&B themselves cope with canon-typical trauma.

Steve would like it on record that he thinks Bucky is insane.
Why this one? This fic has a sassy yet soft Bucky reclaiming his life post military service, and brings new life to the trope of 'chaotic but competent in the field' Clint -- it's just that the field here is wrangling three toddlers. It also has found family feels as other marvel characters round out the apartment community to support Clint.

New Au Idea: post movie, the triplets and husbands are turned back into children and no adult memories. The third generation and Alma have to take care of them. I see this as a way for Alma to give her children a good childhood. Bonus if Pepa likes Camilo the most (he is a mommy's boy) and Bruno likes Mirabel the most ( she understands him and the visions).
OK BUT. IMAGINE.
Alma's heart would break, because not only had she affected her own triplets, but she affected her own son in laws as well. (But then again, it goes to show that Alma also consider the two men to be real family so...)
So Alma is saddened, but quickly is overjoyed. She gets to re-raise her children and give them the childhood they should have had. She also gets to raise Felix and Pepa.
The children are ecstatic. They get to help their Abuela raise their parents! Its kind of weird, at first, but they get used to it and quickly come to enjoy spending time with them.
Pepa def likes Camilo and Bruno likes Mirabel. Julieta is practically attached to Isabela and Agustin is always toddling behind Luisa. Felix kind of just clung to both Dolores and Antonio, and is always near the two of them.
All of the children actually love Abuela as well! I'll say they were turned back into 3 year olds. Not quite babies, but definitely still toddlers. For the first year Aoma is just hovering over them, watching their every move, makimg sure they're OK. She doesn't want a single thing bad to happen to them, she only wants them to be happy and healthy kids.
The kids adore them, but also worry over them. Much like Alma, but maybe a bit more chills about it.
At the triplets ceremony, Alma tells them that they may or may not get a gift, but they will get a room, and even without a gift she'd still love them. (In this AU we're just gonna say Mirabel is the next candle holder. Maybe give her the same power as Cocooned, Idk)
So like, Bruno gets his gift and he isn't immediately overwhelmed by it this time. The family helps him ease into it, especially Mirabel.
Also, because I want too, I'm adding Agustin and Felix to the ceremony. Because I can.
Noe, they don't have their own doors but rather, they share a door with Julieta and Pepa.
Julieta gets the same gift as before, healing and all that. Agustín, this time, ironically, gets the gift of good luck. Don't get me wrong, the kid is still clumsy asl, but hes much more likely to have good things happen to him, like the bees finally leaving him alone for once.
Pepa gets the same gift too, haha. Felíx could probably bend light or something? I don’t know, it just seems to fit him. Kinda goes with Pepa helping water the fields, Fèlix would be able to shine the sun on them.
I think after they turn 7 or 8, they would go back to normal (still keeping the gifts lol)

au where the asl brothers are identical triplets (with some very valuable contributions from @sarahwritesss):
they all set out to wreak havoc on the world at the same time when they turn seventeen, but they set sail separately because they want to be captains of their own crews
the government doesn’t realize that they’re three different people so they attribute all their crimes to one pirate
the marines don’t realize there’s three of them until after ace has been arrested and thrown into impel down. sengoku is gloating that he finally has roger’s son....but the reports??? just keep coming?? what the hell do you MEAN straw hat luffy is with the revolutionary army now? what do you MEAN he’s just punched a celestial dragon at sabaody!?
ace: lol yeah. we’re all clones. good luck finding all seven of us
sengoku: GARP HOW MANY FUCKING GRANDCHILDREN DO YOU HAVE
garp, shrugging: you know, i could have sworn rouge only gave birth to one, but next time i saw them there were more so i decided to stop keeping count
(the whitebeards, the straw hats, and the revolutionaries end up breaking ace out of impel down before the public execution can happen)
when the marines know for sure that there are three of them, they have to sit down and have a very serious meeting about which of the brothers committed what crimes

Summary: After Deceit’s room moves from the dark side to the light side, the triplets havean emotional reunion.
Warnings: Sympathetic Deceit, Food, Sibling Bonds, Crying, Abandonment Mention (of a child), Child Neglect Mention, Heart-Wrenching Angst (gonna start using this tag from now on for angst) [not really super angsty but they cry so I’m warning for angst], Tooth-Rotting Fluff, let me know if I should add anything else.
Note: Anything like ‘this’ is an thoughts. Anything like ‘this’ is ASL. Bold like this is a lie. I’m going pretty out of order with these oneshots but this would be the first chapter if it were a full length fic. Also, no Remus yet but I have plans for him in the future of this AU.
Three For The Price Of One: First Morning
Deceit groaned hearing his phone alarm and fumbled for the object for a few minutes before eventually getting up to shut it off. He looked at the red and blue doors attached to his bedroom and smiled slyly at them. They weren’t murky grey anymore. They were attached again.
He disregarded the change and continued his morning routine before chancing to open the front door and go downstairs to the kitchen. Logan and Roman were both asleep on the couch together with red and blue blankets around them. Black Cauldron playing on the television. Virgil and Patton were in the kitchen cooking breakfast together.
"Good morning, Dee." Virgil greeted him.
"Good morning…?" He didn’t quite expect Virgil to be so friendly to him after how much they’d fought or their past.
"Coffee? You still like no milk a bit of sugar, right?" He nodded numbly.
"Kiddo, the eggs." Patton reminded the younger side, who quickly moved the scrambled eggs off the pan and onto a plate. Virgil handed Deceit a cup of coffee and sent him off toward the living room to Roman and Logan, both of whom were waking up.
It had been at least ten years since they had been together before. Deceit had been too busy with the dark sides and his role keeping them away from the light sides. So, with his breath shaky, he sat in the chair furthest from his brothers and quietly drank his coffee.
"Dee?" Logan’s voice called to him. He looked up at him, eyes wide and breath shaky. He was hoping they wouldn't notice him.
"Cecil? He's back, Lo?" Roman sounded half-asleep still, tired and sleepy and he remembered it so much it hurt his heart to know that Roman was just waking up and it made tears spring up in the yellow side's eyes. He had missed them so much. He had missed so much during their childhood being separated.
"Cecil, c'mere." Roman slurred out. Deceit barely set his cup down before he buried into them, crying.
"It's okay. We won't be apart again." Roman cuddled him between the two light triplets.
"You're not mad at me?" He wiped his face with his hands, itching his scales and making them painful and irritated in doing so.
"Of course not. You weren't light anymore. It's not your fault you were put there." Logan assured him. Deceit, still exhausted, fell asleep between his two brothers, all three cuddled together on the couch with Black Cauldron playing in the background.
Later they'd cry some more discussing how different their childhoods were after they got separated and it wouldn't matter anymore when they fell asleep together with Deceit's snake, Honey, draped over Roman's shoulders, Roman's dragon, Reign, curled up with his wings around Deceit, and Logan's cat, Lilith, lying on Roman's chest.
Nothing would matter once they started rebuilding the severed bonds between the two light sides and their darker brother.

about the triplet au: i imagine luffy being the smallest triplet when he was born so that's why he's shorter than ace and sabo as an adult 😭😭❤️
I can see that, him just being chronically smaller then his brothers is so funny to me because he would absolutely hate it.
Though he also uses being “the baby” to his advantage anytime he can.

In the asl triplet AU
is ace still the only one who hates roger????
And does he still think he had tainted blood because he not only referring to himself but also luffy and sabo.
Ace definitely still resents his father, though the whole bad blood thing isn't really a thing in his mind because sabo and luffy also have this blood, so it can't be bad. He still gets into bar fights cause adults keep on saying how it IS bad blood and nobody gets to talk shit about his little brothers. But growing up with Sabo and Luffy from the start and being blood related definitely automatically removed a lot of the self-hatred. He's still an edgy shithead as a kid but far less self-loathing.
After all could Ace even turn out as depressed as he was if he grew up with somebody like Luffy from the start.
(Neither Sabo or Luffy hate their dad, Sabo is just kind of depressed over not having been able to grow up with both his parents like normal kids and Luffy never really showed much interest towards his dad other then becoming king of the pirates and wanting to see his execution spot)

I would love to know more about your triplit au if you don't mind
I had to go back and reread this au, it's been a hot minute.
Sabo and his crew end up helping some revolutionaries.
soon after Ace gets captured, he and Luffy both decided separately to go to impel down for him.
This time it actually works out.
Sabo gives the revolutionaries there at ride leading to him meeting Dragon. Who promptly recognized him as Luffy's brother.
Sabo immediately starts asking him how he knows his brother.
Dragon doesn't answer.
This is also where he meets Koala, they kick it off and she'll end up joining his crew.
This solidifies the trend of the clover pirates helping the revolutionary army but never explicitly joining.
Sabo gets known as the 3 leaf clover for his pretty shitty luck, and by his shitty luck I mean Jessie's. He's the Murphy's law character.

Okay I can't decide between ASL triplets or high school au
Any one is fine with me they both are so good
One piece highschool-
Ace and Sabo become firefighters.
Dispite being one of the most disruptive people, most teachers like Luffy just because it's Luffy, he's hard to hate.
Vivi went to the school for about a year, she was there for blowing up a sink.
Luffy sometimes skips and hangs out with Jimbei.
Out of all of the the Strawhats (who are students) Luffy, Chopper, Franky and Zoro all end up working there.
Luffy gets a psychologically degree and becomes a counselor at the school. Franky becomes the welding teacher and Zoro ends up becoming the PE teacher once Jimbei retires.
Yamato was in the school for fighting to much.
Fujitora once caught Luffy skipping, and let him.
Dragon actually went to the school once as a public speaker. He didn't know that Luffy was even in the school till that day.
