07.17.23 - I get that I keep complaining about my classes, but this one is coming from the fact that I'm going to be tutoring in the fall rather than straight up complaining.

I am doing a math-focused major. Half the reason for this is that I understand math, and I like doing it. However, some of the math classes I've taken so far at this college have lost me completely on a few intro-level concepts. And since I'm doing a lot to understand these things, I know where things are breaking down. Like, I have almost a whole essay/slideshow brewing in my head about the problems with the way things are taught in these classes, and WHY they're not working.

However, teaching is just half of what tutoring is. The other half is the students I'll be teaching. On that note, I really think that students need to compromise a little bit. I understand that not understanding something can be discouraging, but there's a difference between not understanding and not wanting to understand. Since this is college, I am going to be dealing with people who have already made up their minds about math, which is sad. I think half of the issues I encounter will be mindset-based, rather than issues with the actual material. Bleh.

Thinking about how Clefs (he/him collectively in the timeline I THINK. Will correct if I remember otherwise) system slightly effected his outward appearance due to that being mixed with being a reality bender.

It was mostly reflected in his eyes, the colors would rotate and the topmost ones color would show who was fronting (red, green, or blue respectively ofc), as he only had the three main alters.

But that's not to say there weren't less prominent stragglers in there. When they were close to the front it'd result in extra eyes manifesting.

Hence that one time we were having a conversation and asked if anyone else was listening, and he said no, and I looked over only to see this guy looking like a biblically accurate angel.
