okay tumblr’s exclusion from the twitter social media ban list is hilarious but genuinely we do not belong on there. if a real human person asks “where can i find you on social media” and your choice is a swift death or revealing your tumblr, most of us would simply expire. half of y’all change urls every week like you’re in witness protection. just imagine for one second attaching your wholeass government name to your latest two am clownposting and tell me that didn’t send a cold chill down your spine. the only place i ever want to see the words “connect with me on tumblr!” is on the ao3 profile of an author i’m actively stalking. anyone in the world can follow me except anyone i personally know. antisocial media.

hi! I'm looking for holiday gifts for a friend. she's very girly and baddass. she loves Totoro & foxes. she runs triathlons. for her b day I ended up just getting her a gift card to a sports goods store & that was fine but felt not quite good enough.

do you know of any awesome artists who sell rad prints that involve any of the above things?

ngl one of the most useful things i’ve internalized from doing art online is never tell people what to criticize. don’t preemptively apologize for things or point out where you think you fumbled, it’s just priming people to notice minor issues that might not actually matter and hit you where you’re sensitive and throw you off your game. don’t tell people your weak points. if it’s a genuine problem they’ll point it out

The people who think gay trans man have straight privilege because they have the "option" to "escape" homophobia and live as straight women are blatantly disregarding the fact that for a lot of trans people, the options aren't "gay trans man" or "cis straight woman." It's "gay trans man" or "dead."

#this post was inspired by my friend (mostly stealth trans man) who has dealt with a lot of homophobia from his bf's parents #and transphobes might make the argument that the homophobia he faced doesn't count because he could have just lived as a woman #and then dated his bf more safely #but i genuinely don't think he would be alive right now if he hadn't been able to transition #so yeah. just being a woman to escape homphobia isn't really an option for a lot of trans men #transandrophobia #apologies if this is not my place to speak about as a straight trans man. i was just having thoughts and wanted to share
