hi xiao here! i was messing around with the rss feed thing bc it kept skipping or not posting at all and now my tumblr isn’t connected with it anymore. so for now ao3feed-fengqing might not be posting until it gets fixed. i don’t know what to do so if anyone has any advice or wtv, i would really appreciate it!

ETA: I've had to update the post type, because Tumblr's new integration with IFTTT doesn't allow clickable links. Basically, there's going to be less story info in the post now, but at least you'll still be able to go straight to the story. Sorry, unfortunately this isn't something I have a lot of control over!

To any followers in more recent years, you may not know that this blog was once ran by an actual person. That’s me! In all honesty, I haven’t read very many iwaoi fics recently. I started this blog when I was in high school, and I’ve since graduated college and gotten a real adult job LOL. The good thing is, I’m no less of an iwaoi/haikyuu fan than I was back in high school, but the fandom has changed a lot. If you didn’t already know, haikyuu ended. I’m really content with the ending and where all the characters (ESPECIALLY IWAOI) ended up. It feels right for them, so I haven’t really felt the need to keep reading fics when I love the canon so much. That’s not to say I don’t like indulging in AUs and stuff, but like to get more back into iwaoi fics now.
I moved onto Twitter years ago and haven’t really looked back, however, with some recent changes, I’m going to try to use tumblr more. I’m going to start reading more iwaoi when I have time. Not much will change on this blog, you might just see some actual human posts once in a while. Because I haven’t been keeping up as much, I don’t feel like I can recommend many good iwaoi fics as of recent, so I’ll hold off on that.
That’s all I have to say, my fellow iwaoi-ists. Let’s keep reading and supporting iwaoi writers and artists!🤜🏼🤛🏼

Back up and running!
Hi friends -- I've gotten the feed back up and running with one caveat: I've had to change the post type because Tumblr's integration with IFTTT no longer supports clickable links in text posts.
Unfortunately this isn't something I have any control over, but at least you can still go directly to the stories.

Hi byler tag, I have a quick question for you.
So I started the @ao3feed-byler blog in August and while a lot of the feedback I get about the blog has been really positive, I have gotten concerned comments about some content that gets posted on the blog.
The blog is an automatic feed of what gets posted under the byler tag, so I can’t control exactly what gets posted. However, as some of you might know me and my admins help in monitoring the blog and deleting inappropriate fics when we are active. We aren’t active all the time and sometimes we miss some content for a few hours. I completely understand why people are upset about it and I’m very appreciative when people let me know to delete stuff! (That’s SO helpful thank you!)
But, I’m not going to lie it feels quite crap when I see people ask why we post messed of stuff etc.
So I wanted to ask whether the everyone in general dislikes the ao3 blog posting on the main tag? If it truly upset people I would much rather get rid of the main tag when the blog posts.
Or even do you like that it posts on the main tag?
I would really love some feedback! Thank you so much!

hi the feed had broken while i was on vacation and when i got back one of my friends and fellow admin on the fq blog had informed me the my ao3feed blogs had stopped posting. and i apologize for the inconvenience! but they did find the new rss feed i am now using so fics should start being posted on here again !!

I saw a post the other day about ao3feed blogs being broken due to old legacy code, tho the post did have a fix. idk if I reblogged it or just went “neat!” and kept scrolling. I’d guess whether it gets fixed depends on how active the admin for that blog is.

hello to my various ao3feed blogs its admin once again! I did unfortunately notice that all the posts were coming up as just link posts, thank you to those who reached out to let me know I really appreciate it! Because of the way the applet that runs the feed posts works I had to wait until the feed started updating again to see how the actual posts themselves would look, it ended up taking so long that by the time I saw they were just the links I wasn't able to go back and fix them because I had work and other things to take care of. I have the day off today and after getting my normal housekeeping stuff done I'm finally able to sit down and work on a fix! Posts should (hopefully) have descriptions once again when the feed starts updating soon!

It was a bitch getting it set up the first time and it would’ve been an even bigger bitch the second go-around (on account of me having to use a completely new email for it), but - trust me, if I’d been around in the very beginning, I would’ve been tempted to make one of those ao3feed blogs for fitzier or jopzier.
