Alright, since I’ve received multiple asks about who I ship Sasuke with (or if I have a problem with specific ships), I’ll reiterate my posture regarding shipping culture:
I think it’s very poor, borderline shortsighted, to focus so incredibly much on the possibility of a character –that never specified being sexually interested in anyone, having a romantic partner. Besides the fact that Sasuke is a very traumatized man, a survivor of state-sanctioned genocide which affects his libido to the point of it being non-existent, the entirety of his characterization revolves around him seeking justice for his family. No. It’s not about his bond with Naruto, it’s not about his apparent sexual tension with Karin, nor is it about his crush (the fuck?) on Sakura.
It’s Naruto the one whose characterization revolves around his bond with Sasuke, it’s Karin the one whose characterization revolves around her sexual desire for Sasuke, and it’s Sakura the one whose characterization revolves around her crush on Sasuke –Sasuke’s entire arc differs completely from theirs, as his entire goal, through the entire series, is about seeking justice for his family.
What happens once Sasuke realizes he won’t be able to kill Itachi if he stays in Konoha? He leaves because he chooses his goal as an Avenger before his connection with Team 7 (yes, Itachi’s presence also reminded him of the imminent threat of having bonds that Itachi could easily destroy, but he doesn’t leave to protect T7, but to seek power to kill his brother). What happens once Sasuke kills Itachi? He learns about the truth behind the UCM, and decides to barge into the Kage Summit to kill Danzo and not return to Konoha. What happens once he kills Danzö? He still decides not to return and plans to bring the entire system down. I mean, where is his “bond with Naruto” in all this? Where is his “sexual tension” with Karin in all of this? Where is Sakura’s relevance in all of this? At no single moment does he focus on these bonds, often questioning the reason why these people are so adamant about pursuing him. Am I saying that they don’t matter at all to him? No, and you know that’s not the point of the post unless you’re looking for a reason to get upset in which case, I cannot help you. What I’m saying is that they’re not relevant to his main goal or characterization, as that power rests upon Itachi’s shoulders. Each character here mentioned has either more or less importance throughout his journey, but none of them are detrimental to his objective and none of them are important enough for him throughout the manga to deviate from his ambition (he even tried to kill each one of them when he deemed them a liability or they threatened the continuation of his mission).
Who do I ship Sasuke with? Nobody, I don’t enjoy a single pairing that is attributed to him, and I wish the fandom would realize that the entire plot revolves around the actions and consequences of a fascist regime, and not about who wanted to secretly or not so secretly fuck who, or who deserve his dick and who doesn’t. Yes, I’m being blunt, and some of you will think I’m exaggerating, but if you don’t see me talking about ships as often as you see me speaking about feminism or politics inside the Naruto manga, well, what a shocker, there’s a reason for it.
And to prevent people from putting words in my mouth, let me say this: I’m not saying you can’t enjoy a ship –go crazy if that’s what you want, do art, fanfics, and whatever rocks your boat, I won’t go after you trust me, but oh my god how come some of you would give a “potential romantic couple” so much more relevance than the actual plot?! Sasuke plainly and continuously reminds the characters and the readers what his true goal is and what he wants, and still, some of you will force a deep reading of a bubble of speech detached from his overall characterization to prove that he was smitten with x,y,z all along!

Ino Is Not That Kind Of Person
I’m tired of seeing people making videos or making out that Ino would sexually abuse Sasuke and have her way with him when he is unconscious.
When in fact if Sasuke was put into a room unconscious alone with either Karin, Sakura, or Ino, Ino would be his safest option
It has already been implied by Suigetsu that Karin has already done something to Sasuke in the manga, and in both the anime and manga, while Sasuke was unconscious, all Karin was thinking about was having her way with Sasuke once Juugo and Suigetsu were out cold (with the help from the little bottle in her hand)
A little update on that bottle in hand
Yes I know that the bottle in Karin’s hand is perfume, but she still using it to make Sasuke be lured in by the smell of it, girls like to spray perfume because it helps attracts men
Now if Sakura was alone with an unconscious Sasuke, she would be caring for him, and doing her job, but her obsession for Sasuke would override everything, all she would be thinking about at that time is making Sasuke hers and hers alone, and her obsession for Sasuke would make her do things a normal person would not think about, an obsessed person cannot be trusted with the object of their obsession, like having their way with them while they are at their most vulnerable and can't say or do anything about it.
As for Ino, her love for Sasuke was genuine, even her own father recognized that fact.
Optimistic love, the exact translation of Kishimoto’s words
If Ino was alone with Sasuke who was unconscious, her main concern would be getting Sasuke back to full health, her love for him would not bear to see him hurt in any way, whatsoever, and any improper thoughts would be nonexistent and she would be doing her job diligently.

Lol, it's so stupid, the ridiculous lengths these people will try to go to, honestly. They start by saying how they know for a "fact" that Sasuke and Karin had sex, yet they didn't say anything which actually proved that absurd claim. They instead gave vague statements by Suigetsu which don't prove anything, said shit about third and fourth wheels, and Karin's bite marks, which for some reason they believe were all from Sasuke, which again they have no proof of, and which wouldn't even make any sense when considering her healing abilities were being utilised long before she ever partnered with Sasuke. Sasuke only started using her Heal Bite once Taka was formed, because he would have never had to use it prior to that point. He healed on his own after his fight with Deidara, and was never shown or implied to have been gravely injured during his training with Orochimaru.
Regarding their stupid "her whole breasts are covered with the marks he's given her!" comment (despite the fact that as previously highlighted, they were not given to her by Sasuke), they're likely referring to the below, which doesn't even show her breasts anyway:
Then they try to downplay the fact that Sasuke always pushed her away from him, because they know it mattered. Why would he have inexplicably engaged in sexual activity with Karin, if he now became very uncomfortable whenever she got too physically close?
It's just as you said, do they really think that someone who made this face when Karin got too close for comfort:
Would have had no problems having sex with her in the past? And for what? Why would he have wanted to have sex when he had tunnel vision for training to get strong enough to kill Itachi? These people always try to make it seem as though Sasuke was either gay for Naruto, or he had absolutely no interest in girls. Yet when there is an opportunity to downplay SS, all that goes out of the window and he had wanted to engage in sexual activities with Karin huh?
And as if all of that wasn't enough, do these people honestly think that Kishi would have written for underage people to have sex? We're talking about the period between Parts 1 and 2 here, meaning that Sasuke and Karin were between 13-15 years old. So are these people really that desperate to "prove" that those two had sex, even if it meant advocating for sex between minors? Fucking unbelievable.

All I’m tryna say is if I wanted to makes a “romantic” relationship between two characters believable I not NOT have one character state multiple times that that don’t like other, then have those two get together out of nowhere, have one character not ever be home, immediately call their marriage into question, have their child also call said “marriage” into question, toss the idea around that the child they have together may not even be the biological child of one of the mother but instead another women’s , find out that the father doesn’t even recognize their own daughter, father is questioned about everything stated above to which he does not give an answer,
THEN have the that father not give a shit about their wife getting stabbed (or kidnapped) even though that characters best friend was stabbed like an hour ago and they seem to be waaayyy more concerned about that, make their child take DNA test with a left over piece of their umbilical cord which is not in the possession of the mother whose paternity is on shaky ground for some reason, low and behold the child’s mother is not who they thought it was and is in-fact the other womans, have that child ask their father once again how he and her mother are connected and it’s because they have her, implying that if she were not around they wouldn’t be connected in the slightest
Also establish that both of those characters have never kissed despite having a child together?????
And give a bs explanation about why the child’s DNA test was a match between them and another woman by saying it was because she delivered the child????

I was debating on YouTube about Sasuke but YouTube deletes comments, especially those that have a link. It was also difficult for me to search for the publications. So I gave myself the task of collecting posts from all Sasuke fans and neutral critics of the work 'Naruto' that talk about Sasuke and his relationship with the other Naruto characters. I have also included my contributions, such as questions to other users and post responses. I hope this post helps you when you need support when you are debating in favor of Sasuke. The Problem with the Canon Naruto Ships
I’m too tired to really get into this and break it down or theorize about where this stems from, so I’m just gonna word vomit and hope it makes a lick of sense.
Have any of you noticed that most, if not all, Naruto characters have no reason behind why they “love” the characters they do?
Like, we don’t have any canon reason why the canon ships started dating, let alone got married (don’t mention the novels, I will ignore you). I’m not saying that none of the Naruto characters have redeeming or likeable qualities, what I’m saying is that you don’t “fall in love” with everyone who shows you care/concern/human decency (depends what ship we’re talking about).
Sure, Naruto might think Hinata’s sweet, but you don’t “fall in love” with someone because they’re nice (I know about the pain pit, but ninja are expected to risk death for their comrades, so that’s a pretty moot point). Hinata might look up to Naruto, but you don’t “fall in love” with someone because you admire them. Sakura might think Sasuke’s cool, but you don’t “fall in love” with someone because you find them attractive. Sasuke might… And please don’t make me guess the in-world reasoning behind the other canon ships.
I know that it would be pretty unreasonable to expect an engaging, well-developed love story out of a shounen action, but I don’t think asking for something to explain how we got from point a to point b is too much. Give me ONE meaningful conversation between the two. A SINGULAR two-way confession scene. HALF of a flashback or internal monologue. Just something to explain how we went from “They seem pretty cool/I have a crush on them” to “I married them”.
The worst part is that I can think of plenty of opportunities for these scenes to happen without diverting the plot at all.
Also, this goes for non-canon ships too. (I’ll keep this short since the canon ships are where this is an actual problem.) Naruto has no reason to love Sakura. Rock Lee has no reason to love Sakura. Ino has no reason to love Sasuke. Karin barely has a reason to like Sasuke. In case anyone’s thinking it, Naruto and Sasuke are also pretty shaky in this category.
Sorry for this turning into a bit of a rant, but I think about Naruto shipping a lot and this always sticks out to me.

I've been going through old likes, posts, and reblogs and I never realized how fucked Sasuke's part of the relationship is.
SasuNaru aka Sasuke x Naruto
This relationship wouldn't be healthy no matter how anyone puts it canon wise. They aren't equals in no way shape or form.
At the end of Vote Sasuke loses the fight. In essence he loses everything he once stood for, going against the corrupt and fucked up system that had his brother turn against then slaughter his entire clan.
Naruto had the tools to see the system and what it really stood for. He said he understood Sasuke's, Neji's, Pein/Nagato's, and Obito's pain. Then come to find out, he's okay with hiding what happened to the Uchiha, he's stands by the system, he stands for Konoha. He never truly understands anyone and the only thing he did understand was the loneliness. It's why he sticks up for Hinata despite learning Neji is her slave as his father was to her's despite being twins.
Sasuke become a ghost of himself and fall in line just as the others did believing in Naruto. Naruto never keeps his word for peace or a change to better the world. All they have is a temporary peace that relies solely on him.
For any romantic relationship to truly be a good romantic relationship Naruto had to change a big part of himself that relies on Konoha and its system.
SasuSaku aka Sasuke x Sakura
I think we all see how fucked up their relationship is in Boruto.
Sasuke has no romantic feelings for Sakura at all. Before the Vote2 fight he had lost any and all platonic feelings for her. He never had romantic feelings for her before or after Vote2.
He cared about her enough to fight and risk his life for her before he left.
He was forced into a relationship because of Kakashi, Sakura, and Naruto. Kakashi and Sakura were constantly up his ass about Sakura wanting to save him or for him to love her back. He lost to Naruto so in the end he gave in to please them and he was left with the guilt and the belief he was wrong.
SasuHina aka Sasuke x Hinata
Never one interacted. Hinata enables slavery and is obsessed with Naruto. You really believe Sasuke would like that.
SasuKarin aka Sasuke x Karin
Karin is just as bad as Sakura if not worse the difference is she gave up and wanted him to be happy.
