Analysing Kushina's “find someone like me”
I have seen this discourse for years and how people take her words out of context or misinterpret it so I'll give an explanation here.
Many fans claim Hinata wasn't fit to be with him because she was nothing like Kushina and I personally believe Kushina didn't mean similarities in personality but their feelings and love for Naruto.
1. Hinata believed in Naruto before anyone else did
Usually parents are the first people to have faith in you. Kushina had that too, and Hinata saw his potential just by watching him from afar. She believed in him from the start, just like Kushina.
2. She loved him even when he was at his lowest point
Parents who selflessly love their kids love them with all their flaws and mistakes. Kushina's love for Naruto was similar to that. Hinata admired Naruto when she was the heiress of the most prestigious clan of Konoha, while he was literally seen as a ‘loser’ or worse ‘monster’. She saw him at his worst and still found him the best. She loved him with all his flaws, just like Kushina.
3. She loved him more than her own life.
If there's one thing they completely had in common was they loved him more so than themselves and never expected anything in return. She loved him selflessly, just like Kushina.
4. She was willing to give up her life to protect him
I don't think I need to further explain this one. She was prepared to die if it meant he'll live, just like Kushina.
5. She helped Naruto when he needed it the most
Kushina met Naruto to help him with suppressing Kyuubi's chakra, which we all know, how important it was for Naruto to do so. Hinata knocked sense into him when he was losing hope in the middle of the war. She helped him in a crucial point in his life, just like Kushina.
In conclusion, I'd like to say that I always believed Kushina meant to find a woman who will love, help and be there for Naruto like she did, rather than something superficial as same personality. Hinata loved Naruto exactly like Kushina did, the only difference being one is motherly, the other is romantic. So in my opinion Naruto did find someone like her
And if any of you try to bring up Sakura, I want to point out that yes Sakura cared about him and saved his life and more similar to Kushina's personality (which I already debunked is irrelevant) but here's the thing– Sakura is already out of the equation because she loves Naruto platonically and Kushina was talking about romantic love.

I believe dragging down other characters being your only source of making your favorite character look “good” is the worst way to “prove” anything. You aren’t proving anything you’re basically telling me that your character isn’t good enough to be spoken about that you have to drag other characters into it.
Take Hinata for example. I’m shocked there’s people who dislike her in the first place, but the amounts of Sakura-bots absolutely shaming her and dragging her through dirt is ridiculous, just to prove that their pink haired girl is better (she’s not). Same goes for Temari, Ino, and Tenten. They feel threatened by Tenten, bffr.
And trashing on Hinata and Naruto’s relationship is definitely crazy. I made an entire blog about Hinata and she isn’t even my favorite at all. I’ve admitted the focus was very sudden and there were flaws but that’s mainly because of Kishimoto’s obsession with the Uchiha/Sasuke Uchiha. Other than that, their relationship and love story were pretty solid.
…Sasuke and Sakura shippers will immediately jump to Naruto and Hinata when their own ship is spoken about and are we surprised really? What’s so enjoyable about a toxic relationship filled with immense and voluntary neglect?
These shippers are so insecure they’ll somehow manage to drag Sai and Ino too, and let me fucking tell you. They have to be the second best healthiest couple after Kushina and Minato.

During the time when Naruto was training, sakura and him didn't talk to each other or visit each other. Sakura didn't remember Naruto's memory in this panel unlike anime and she never made a medical pills for him...nor give him that letters ...they didn't have any news about each other
Instead she cried for sasuke....
Like in this panel also sakura received the news from kakashi and not naruto, she didn't talk to him...
Here she's still acting cold towards him, look at her face ... She's like " Naruto you better win"....
Don't forget about how she underestimate Naruto's ability.... While Naruto risked his Life for her and we never see she thanked him for that

The new Minato manga's coming out and leaks are everywhere, me searching the Minato and Kushina tags (since she's suppose to be in it a lot) Sakura fandom spamming the tags: 'Minato's just like Sakura!' 'Kushina is just like Sakura!' 'MK is just like SS!' 'MK is just like NS!' Someone seriously gotta make some sort of ai app that can auto detect her picture like they did with trump and filter it or replace it with kittens so the rest of the fandom can search tags in peace.
Sakura stans being annoying is nothing new.
They are saying SS is like Minakushi because Kushina hugs Minato in a hospital. Except in Minakushi's case, the hug is reciprocal. Minato is responding to the hug warmly. In Sasuke's case, he was barely there. Even when Sakura kept being by his side and babbling, he was dissociating.
Yeah he is thinking about his deep love for Sakura. Lol. I actually think Kishimoto probably drew that Minakushi interaction to show the difference between mutual and onesided relationship. Same way as how Hinata stands behind a tree and there is no NH interaction other than her being inspired by Naruto, Kushina actually interacts with Minato. But being NH/SS, superficial and surface level reading is their thing.
I mean sure. Except only one of these mangas is written and drawn by Kishimoto. Because he only enjoys writing Sakura when it is to humiliate her.
Hinata stans are just as embarrassing in their comparisons.

Like really who would’ve thought Sakura would fade into obscurity like that after the (fake) promises Kishimoto made to make her equal to Naruto and Sasuke.
Yet here we are.
Naruto is relevant because he’s the title characters father and the source of his conflict with Kawaki. Now he has passed Kurama to Hima.
Sasuke trained Boruto and you can see how heavily he influenced his style and personality.
Both are sealed
Sakura ISN’T
We ain’t see the pink bitch since Boruto part one.
EVEN INO MADE AN APPEARANCE because (like I’ve been saying) she has more usefulness than Sakura being the one to be the phone line to the most important people of Konoha.
Sakura punches and heals. And she doesn’t even do it as well as Tsunade.
THEY DIDNT EVEN SHOW HER IN RELATION TO THE DEAD NINJA. Seeing if there are survivors???? Healing them???? Surely if Sakura has surpassed Tsunade she figured out how to heal these kind of wounds or at least have snails out but NOPE

The Naruto fandom really showed how nasty they can become it’s disgusting. Learn how to separate character and real life. Hating on Sakura just wasn’t enough so you started giving her voice actor the same treatment?! Just wtf is wrong with some people here? Instead of wishing a human being, Chie Nakamura, a great recovery for smth theres no real cure available yet, or at least have the decency to just keep your mouth shut, y’all decided to be nasty? she had to withdraw from her project cz it’s SERIOUS. and you’re here like „lol, deserve for voicing Sakura“, „we don’t need you anyway“ and sh*ts and giggles. Also, I wanted to ask what do you think about Naruto and Sasura’s relationship nature. I mean, do you think he ever truly loved her? His speech in shippuden about his feelings for her seemed really genuine, but except that I don’t really see love in his behavior, more like a childish crush? naruto’s behaviour towards sakura and overall attraction to women is inconsistent. we can easily tell that he truly never had romantic feelings for her, but a crush is, in my opinion, debatable… and really a crush in the sense of “she’s cute, i like her” kind of thing, which is basically what we see when sakura is introduced
now what is interesting is that the last wasn’t wrong to show that maybe it was about sasuke, it just definitely wasn’t so naruto could compete with sasuke
“i feel like i finally understand why i like her” right after sakura said she wants to be acknowledged by sasuke because she likes him? really? we know that naruto wants to be acknowledged by everyone, that’s the core of his character, but in this context, this just seems kinda ambiguous… he doesn’t wanna win over sasuke, he just wants his acknowledgement. when you take naruto’s interactions with sasuke and sakura into consideration after this quote, as well his behaviour, you see that basically naruto mimics heterosexuality by pretending to like sakura, while actually focusing his attention on sasuke, he mistakes his feelings/attraction for sasuke for a rivalry at first and a friendship later. i’ll give you some examples.
he doesn’t have much tact to compliment sakura. i know this is what she wanted to hear, but i just find it so funny honestly.
there are also a few more moments involving sakura’s appearance and naruto, in which a) naruto says haku is prettier than her b) naruto says after two years that they haven’t seen each other that she looked the same even though it seems by her body language that she wanted to be complimented and c) when other people called sakura ugly and naruto didn’t even comment about it or tried to defend her. now let’s look at this
is there some need to defend sasuke’s honour or something? no one is even insulting sasuke here, just comparing him and sai. the japanese word naruto uses here can be used to compliment someone’s looks btw and he not only says it, but he emphasises it at the end. there’s pretty much a huge gap between “the cute girl” he’s supposed to like a lot and sasuke, who is above it.
how about when naruto is just doing absolutely nothing but thinking of sasuke
until he gets interrupted by sakura… so he says he was planning to go on a date with her. are you for real?
this one is even funnier… sakura is taking care of naruto after he hurt his arm with rasenshuriken. someone in love would surely be happy to be closer to your loved one while they are healing you, and it’s what it seems that naruto is gonna say
until you turn to the next page
he’s just really happy they are in this together… for sasuke. you really can’t make this shit up.
i’ve also pointed out that in the chapter in which sakura decides to fake confess to naruto and go after sasuke to kill him, sakura says “that fool’s got such a crush on me” about naruto, and yet the only appearance naruto makes in the same chapter is him lying down and pining over sasuke. yikes.
the only “narusaku” moment during war on naruto’s part is when minato asks naruto if sakura is his girlfriend to which he reacts like
it’s not only that this is comic relief and it just seems like he wants to look good in front of his father, because he already knows about his mom’s speech and wishes when his parents died, it’s also that he hesitates to answer it.
but when he’s saying goodbye and really referencing the whole speech topic by topic and talking about important things…
he deflects the subject. very convenient and smart of kishimoto when he’s not allowed to explicitly say what he wants to, such as homosexuality.
and of course, there’s the infamous fake confession
in which naruto basically looks annoyed... not the reaction of someone who is in love, i would say.
and the cherry on top
the promise he made to sakura hasn’t changed anything, he would act the same with or without it.
narusaku dead and buried.
those inconsistencies happen over and over and they always involve sasuke somehow… like i said, projecting his real feelings for sasuke onto sakura. now if you think he thought she was cute and all, i can give you the benefit of the doubt, but being in love with her? no way. naruto has never loved her like that, and i honestly can’t even tell that he loved as a friend either when he pretty much treats her the same way he treats his other konoha comrades: takes responsibility for everything and doesn’t let anyone get involved…
…unless it’s sasuke, obviously, then he will bear his burdens and see so much pain that he just can’t leave it alone.
