Methodical training in her youth -- having never been able to be a true child -- had taught her to hold in much of her emotions. She had been taught to be fueled with a need to regain control of the family’s fate, to put an end to the monster that had set them on this long path where no one was meant to see the gates of Heaven until the monster was destroyed, yet she’d so utterly failed.

She was like that of a child reborn. This was an entirely new life and a “parent” had been needed. With such a new life, such new sounds and sights, Anna had found her emotions easily overwhelmed, far more than had ever been before. The princess no longer held control of her emotions and anger had turned to untapped rage as she pounced upon the mouthy sailor. Vampiric rage befell her and she paid no mind to those that may be brought to their location from the vampiric sounds escaping her, hungry and growling, along with his cries and pleas for help.

Blood splattered as hunger and rage overwhelmed Anna to the point that all she saw was red. Mess was so easily made as blood fell upon her pale skin, as it pooled around the man’s head in a nearly black halo. Bloodied bubbles fell over his lips as his last breath escaped him.

This wasn’t her, the voice in the back of her mind pleaded to her. This was something that Aleera would have performed. The ripping, the tearing, and the gratifying fulfillment of hot blood sliding down her throat and into her belly was a pleasure that someone like Aleera would so thoroughly enjoy. The tingle within her womanly regions from the satisfaction of ending the life of the mouthy bastard would be what Aleera would have felt.

It shouldn’t have been so good, yet she couldn’t help it as she continued on in her feed before finally looking up at her creator with blood drying upon her flesh. Bloodied fangs glittered in the moonlight that shown down upon them.
