ok its been so long since i read bleach media so i have less thoughts about him now then when i did when i binge read 70% of the manga in about a week but anw uryu was my favorite character and i miss him so much like his dynamic with ichigo and the rest of the kamakura gang was so nice and. i literally adore the way that he straight up would lie to peoples faces like "no i wont associate with shinigami anymore" *drops everything to go help save orihime*

and all of this is why the last arc of this fucking manga frustrated me to noooo fucking end like are you kidding me. so many times uryu goes to be with the shinigami bc ichigo, chad, orihime, and rukia and renji are his friends and he calls them idiots and when he literally almost died fighting he said he was happy to be called an idiot same as them and then. he doesnt even get to be with them in the last chapter. he doesnt even get his face on the fucking color spread like are you fucking for real. thats not even going into the fact that he had practically no fucking role in the quincy arc. which like. shouldve featured considering he was a quincy and shouldve have been ichigo getting another fucking power up god

Not at all related ehehe to my previous post/poll but what do you think about Martin being chosen to be the Archivist? In a world with no Jon to be promoted, and Elias absolutely bypasses Sasha (Ily Sasha but it's for the plot!) and promotes MARTIN.

Do you remember last year when I told you that I should keep this place updated and post at the same time that in Twitter because I had some things unshared back then? Well, now the tables have been turned. And now you know all the things I made meanwhile I have in Twitter like 5 art to post... I'm a disaster.

Anyways, I hope you like this one since I really enjoyed doing it. I'm not used to coloring tbh, I prefer to take tiny things as chibis to color them, but with this one I felt charmed and I couldn't help but painting it. Don't get used, or yes...

the quincy arc sucks so bad overall

he's not my favorite of the main crew (that place does go to Chad) but he's SO important and very funny (to me)

he's very dramatic and his whole "i hate soul reapers (actively helping ichigo and rukia)" is very good and refreshing, esp since most people in bleach just admit they like ichigo and think he's cool and want to help

it makes him stand out more, especially since he's supposed to be The Last Quincy and all

ORIHIME shouldve been the one to beat ulquiorra and not ichigo like idc if orihime's thing was to be a healer youre trying to tell me she got a powerup when tatsuki got hurt. tatsuki her dear friend. and then when ichigo literally almost died. like im pretty sure he was dead. she got jack shit. tite kubo meet me outside right the fuck now

There's a certain type of ship where I go wild and I know the exact qualifications.

They have dark hair and light hair, respectively, although LiuShen gets a pass.

They should not, and often do not, get along.

They either don't explicitly get together or haven't gotten together yet in canon.

They are total idiots about each other but are in denial about it.

The more "go away I hate you" they are, the crazier they are about the other.

AWKWARD on so many levels

One of the main reasons why I'll never really respect ATS is because of the absolutely lazy Deus Ex Machina that is The Powers That Be. They said "we're not gonna make the effort of thinking about explanations for stuff. We'll just say The Powers That Be did it because they wanted to and call it a day" with their full chests.

I could have excused it with Doyle's visions. It would have been more interesting if he had gotten them some other way, bonus points if the reason could have made him bond with Angel, like a curse or some inheritance from his demon father. But instead they just laid the groundwork to do the bare minimum when it was convenient.

I'm sorry, but if you don't respect yourself even a little as a show, I'm not gonna respect you.
