kept forgetting to post these, but here, some silly scenarios and out-of-context moments & more with (my) Guy Gardner & Feste that I wrote up for @arcade-writing :) ;)

--(tfw you start shipping your friend's self-insert with canon.. Guy/Feste is so real and official in my heart and soul cuz it's so funny, and I really wanna share some of these snippet things I wrote cuz they're just too good to keep to myself)--

Guy: Guy Gardner works alone! Ain't nobody worthy of workin' alongside me, you'll all just slow me down--

Feste: -walks in-

Guy: the ONLY guy worthy of workin' with me is sweet cheeks, here! -puts his arm around Feste's shoulders, giving a little squeeze, and kisses his cheek- I ain't accepting ANY offers. Ain't nobody could or ever WILL replace my best man!

Feste: ❔❔❔❔❔

Guy: Can I stay the night with you? I don't have the energy in me to go to mine. I just…… I just wanna….. cuddle for awhile… if that's alright with you…?

Feste, realizing just how bad Guy is doing: I will destroy whatever made you this way, just give me the word… but after we've had some sleep. You look awful.

Guy: ..Thanks.

Guy slicks his hair back and upwards one time at the beach, it's all wet and he makes a joke to Feste like "Hah, whadda y'think of my new hairdo?"

Feste looks like he's gonna be SICK. The utter horror that Guy did his hair in a way that looks like how Feste has envisioned in his nightmares.

Feste storming up to him, smacking his head and then quickly ruffling the hair until it sits like a bowlcut again and then kissing him and holding his face firm to look at him like "NEVER do that again."

Guy is confused and flustered, but he promises.

Guy: You wanna go blow up some asteroids later? I wanna see what that ring can do!

Feste: Oh, it's a date!

Guy:

Guy, faltering, ears going red but his face isn't: What

Guy: So why're you called 'Feste'? is it like some kinda self given title, like an ironic wordplay for the fact you're a Pink Lantern? I thought all you guys were supposed to be all 'ohhh la de da, mwuah mwuah I love life, I love you, and you, and you, and everything~' but you're more like when love festers and dies.

Feste:

Feste: ………Yeah, haha. yeah that's totally the reason. Pretty cool, right? festering love…

Guy: Yeah.

Feste: So what about you? Why's your name 'Guy'? Sounds pretty generic and bland compared to your gaudy personality.

Guy: GAUDY?! WHY YOU-- Ergh.. No. My parents named me that. Guess I was just a disappointment to everyone since birth. Hah.

Feste:

Feste: Are you okay, Guy? Do you wanna talk about it?

Guy:

Guy: ………..No. I'll be fine.

Guy:

Guy, puffs out his chest: Well now I'm THE Guy. The Guy everyone talks about! I'm THAT Guy! SO my parents can SUCK ON IT. ~'PathETIC PUny GArdnEr'~ is no more! If they could see me now, they'd be soiling their pants at what I'm capable of! I'm doin' more work savin' the world and more than that lousy old man has in all his years as a cop!

Feste:

Feste: Are you done?

Feste: Guy……have you ever considered your parents are idiots and their opinions don't matter?

Feste: do I need to kill them for you?

Guy: I thought you guys didn't kill?

Feste: I can make an exception.

Feste: I killed out of love and star sapphire has tried to kill Hal, I think I can kill your parents

Guy: Hal probably deserved it. Ah. Nah. Y'don't gotta kill'em. For all I know they're probably long gone by now, or on their way out, at least. Haven't seen or spoken to'em in years.

Guy: Good riddance, I say.

"Feste of Earth, your heart is so very lonely. Come. Join us and you will find your heart full once more in time. There is a great sense of love within you. With us, we shall help you to unlock that potential, to feel what it is that you desire. You will. find Love."

Feste: I'm sorry. W H A T

Star Sapphire: Feste of Earth, allow me. -leans down to caress his face and read into his heart and mind-

Feste: uhhhh uuhhhhhhhhhh

SS: I see what it is your heart desires. We shall heal you. This may take some time, however, as the universe is vast.

Feste: huh?? okay???

Guy Gardner on earth just stepping out of the shower:

Pink Ring: Guy Gardner of Earth--

Guy: WHOA HOLY &^#@$&@^#$^$@#?!??!

Pink Ring: --You are whom we seek. For there is one who is need of you.

Guy: The @#^$&# are you on about??

Pink Ring: Come. Accept this ring and see for yourself.

Guy: ..You gotta be ^&#@%&# me. I already got a ring -walking to retrieve the green ring on the table- I think I'm good now #%^$@# off--

Pink Ring: I am afraid you have no choice. This is an emergency of the heart and soul.

Guy: WAIT WAIT WAI--

Guy gets YOINKED by the pink light and the ring nestles itself onto his wedding ring finger, his outfit changes and he gets portaled to Feste.

Guy's Pink Ring: Feste of Earth. Your heart and soul's match has been found. May you both find comfort in each other's love.

Feste & Guy:

Guy: I got a scar from taking an imitation toy parachute for a joy ride when I was 8. didn't go so well, got a scar on my head from it, you wanna see?

Feste: you what

Guy: Yeah! Look! I jumped off and landed wrong, snagged my head real good-- check it out!

Guy: -brushes his hair out of the way and leans down so Feste can see the scar-

Feste: I thought they hit you for stealing it-- that's kinda disappointing.

Guy:

Guy: How dare you.

----

Feste sits in his room, getting ready for a surprise night out with Guy. He tossed out some verbal hints, but never right out said where they were going, but Feste could only assume it had something to do with cowboys. Still, Feste was going to dig through what he had to find something to fit the theme.

He was halfway dressed and digging through his dresser when he heard the door open, a sound of boots with the spurs that one could never mistake following suit. Feste looked up to see Guy leaning on the door frame with his arm, the other propped up on his quirked hip, legs crossed. He was dressed like a fancy cowboy, green suit with matching stetson and all. The tassels swayed from his movement.

"Y'ready, par'dner? We're gonna be late if y'don't get yerself dressed. C'mon, we're goin' to a rodeo bar. It's hoedown night an' they got th'bull out. Y'don't wanna miss that, now do ya?"

Feste shuddered at the accent Guy was putting on. If it weren't for their date, he'd have half a mind to jump him right then and there. Grab that stupid bolo tie and matching belt buckle, too--

"Come on, Feste! Don't tell me yer gonna be wearing just some jeans and a t-shirt. Don't you have anything, y'know.. more appropriate?"

"Why would I have--"

"Y'know what? I'll buy you one on the way! Get your shoes on and grab your stuff and let's go!"

Guy was a little too excited for this.. it was kind of cute, Feste thought.

----

Feste in the Lantern break-room one early morning, pouring some juice or whatever, they hear the door open and glance to look, but it turns into a double whiplash take as they see Guy Gardner walking in completely shirtless in only his boxers, a pair of ridiculous socks, and some slippers. he's shuffling in yawning, stretching with one arm behind his back while the other is scratching that happy trail from to navel to waistband.

bro doesn't even acknowledge Feste, just cracks open the fridge after scratching the light shadow on his face, grabs a carton of milk with a cheap tape and sharpie label on it with his name and starts chugging it, free arm resting on the top of the fridge door. he finishes, puts the cap back on, stuffs it back in the fridge, shuts the door and FINALLY looks over to see Feste.

"'Sup.. Didn't know anyone else would be up this &^%$ early." his voice is still groggy and has a slight gravel to it. and for once, he doesn't sound agitated.

Feste, questioning how this man can even survive, making up theories in his head about how he is and junk when he's back on earth:

Guy, on earth, walking with some lackluster groceries back to his place: -kicking garbage and using his ring to put it in the trash, shouting at a guy for bumping into him and almost getting into a fight about it-

Feste, watching: I was so right

Guy: -sees a kid trying to get something out of a tree on the side of the street- HEY! Hey! What do you think you're doin'?! -runs up and grabs the kid out of the tree-

Feste: Oh no -readies his ring-

Guy: That's dangerous! You could've fallen and gotten hurt or worse, you could've went crashin' into the busy street! You're lucky ole Guy Gardner's got his eyes on this city, kid! Ain't nothin' gonna slide past this Green Lantern! What're you tryin' to get outta that tree anyway?

Kid: -points and looks sad- sorry Mr.Gardner Green Lantern, sir..

Guy: Ah, it's nothin', kid, no worries. I got this, just you watch! -shifts them to his hip as he uses his ring to fly up and gets the thing down for them, handing it right to them- There now, y'see?

Kid, being placed back on the sidewalk: yay! Thank you!! You're so cool!!

Guy: It's nothin', kiddo, now I want ya t'promise me y'won't go climbin' anymore trees like that, y'hear? I don't want any o'you runts gettin' hurt doin' somethin' stupid like that. And.. -squats to the kids height and talks a little quieter- I may be a Green Lantern and we don't feel fear, but don't you go tellin' anybody you heard this, but you got me scared for a minute there!

Kid: Whoa.. Really?! I'm sorry! I promise!! I pinky promise I won't go doin' anythin' like that again! -holds out their hand-

Guy, laughs and gives them the pinky promise: Yeah, that's a good kid! Now run along and play safe!

Kid: Okay! Thank you again!! bye!!

Feste:

God, do I feel this when it comes to the Kingdom Hearts series.

I thought that the specifics of memories and darkness in CoM were convoluted but that game's writing was smart enough to not actually focus on them, so it's not distracting while actually playing the game and watching the story unfold, only coming up when you think about it later. KH2 fared slightly worse with its narrative's foundational ideas of data, Nobodies and Ansem, but it still paced those ideas well enough apart and even when they were in play it never focused on them to the extent that they drowned out the characters and the emotion....in other words, the "heart" of the story. And even Days, while the sheer convolution of its take on what a replica is was ridiculous, had the good sense to save that stuff for the last stretch of the game, where enough emotional goodwill had been built up that many players could forgive it (naturally, the cutscene movie version is not as effective.)

But for every game since, the convoluted ideas and twists and connections are all at the forefront of the story. And it's...well, not cool. Which makes it frustrating when I see people thinking it is; in either two senses - in the literal sense of thinking "an idea being overly convoluted and complex = woah, that's deep, man!", or in the ironic sense of "haha, isn't it funny and cool that this series' ideas are so overly convoluted and complex all while Disney characters are running around and even talking about those ideas, so wacky!" And look, IF you fall into that second category, that's fine...so long as you don't pretend it's some objective, deliberate thing on the designers' part and that the series is Good, Actually(TM). Because Nomura has confirmed repeatedly that he's not being ironic, he takes this super seriously and actually believes he's making something with "profound depth" (seriously his words!) So you should enjoy it in the same vein as one tends to enjoy an M. Night Shyamalan or Wachowski Siblings production - they're not making something good like they think they are, but they are making something that's sincerely them that, for better or worse, is unique.

My thoughts on episode 8

SPOILERS for season 3, episode 8 of the Animaniacs reboot

Ah, time to watch another episode of Animaniacs, an episode I have definitely never seen before and definitely have not had an entire emotional breakdown over. The previews for this one got me hyped. I can't wait to see that 3D animation!

On a serious note, if you're a big fan of this episode, you probably shouldn't read this review. I'll try to avoid retreading ground I've already covered, and I'll try to keep my criticism reasonable and logical so hopefully everyone can at least see my side of things, even if you don't ultimately agree.

The episode starts off with the worst dialogue exchange ever written into Animaniacs.

It's just as shocking and painful to watch now as it was the first time. Wakko's expression here will haunt me and bring back bad memories for years to come.

This exchange is just such an impressively perfect storm of awfulness. If you changed any one thing about it, it wouldn't be so historically atrocious. It would still be bad, but not "makes me question my Animaniacs fandom" bad. What really sends it over the top for me is how Dot reacts to Wakko coming back and being alive. If she and Yakko simply greeted him cheerfully, it would be made super clear that it was entirely a joke and they were only messing around. I'd still hate it. I just wouldn't need to write a fic to cover it up. Instead, there's just no payoff. It's played straight until the end, when Dot is actually disappointed that her brother isn't actually dead. It's so unnecessarily overbearing. I know the entire thing is supposed to be sarcasm, but like... where's the joke? What's supposed to be funny about it? Haha, we don't value our brother and would be better off without him, but we don't actually mean it! Oh no, he's not actually dead, but I'm only being sarcastically disappointed over it. You can laugh now.

You know, I actually take it back. Dot's disappointment didn't really seem sarcastic at all. It just felt mean-spirited, straight up.

They had to realize something was wrong here. They specifically made it so Wakko didn't hear or react to what his siblings were saying. At least subconsciously, they knew that if Wakko heard it, the cruelty of the whole thing would be amplified tenfold. And it was already pretty damn amplified. Wakko not hearing it doesn't make this moment any better for the characters of Yakko and Dot.

I think these Warners are the real alien imposters, not the ones we saw in episode 6. They're implanted by aliens or the studio to make poor Wakko think he isn't loved.

It's pretty funny to hear the Warners say "Jackass Monkey" so casually.

No, Yakko, you are not technically a boomer. Baby boomers were born from 1946 to 1964. You were born in 1929, making you a member of the Silent Generation. (Ironic, isn't it?) Also, it doesn't even make a difference, since Wakko is the same age as you by that logic, and he clearly loves video games. Hey, you were the one who wanted to be technical about it.

Lore item: I believe this is our first confirmation ever that the Warners have red blood flowing through their veins, and not just ink or nothing. So, if they bled, they would canonically bleed red. Just a thought for all you angsty fan creators out there...

They also have real, organic organs and are not just inky blobs all the way through.

I thought the easter eggs were cool. Some folks probably didn't like them because they felt like teases for segments we never really got in the reboot, but I was fine with it.

Slappy still in the process of giving Chicken Boo that beating two seasons later.

I thought the 3D animation looked really nice. I was genuinely super excited to see it before the episode came out, and I hoped that the main thing I'd be doing was pausing to admire the animation. Other things overshadowed that, unfortunately.

On their own, the Wakko smells jokes would be fine. It's the kind of teasing that's in-bounds for the Warners, and this isn't the first time they've made fun of such a thing. Combined with what happened earlier, though, it just feels like the Wakko abuse keeps piling up. It feels like someone writing the episode randomly decided to choose Wakko as a target to pick on for the entire episode, and by proxy that makes it feel like Yakko and Dot randomly decided to choose Wakko as a target to pick on for the entire episode. It makes them feel like bullies. It's the total opposite of how their dynamic should be- take a few innocent jabs at your siblings, sure, but 99% of the harsh teasing should be directed outside of the group.

On a positive note, Wakko sticking his tongue out in 3D is really cute.

"Warner Brothers has STANDARDS! Well, not artistic standards, obviously."

Obviously...

Now, I said before that Yakko's apology to Wakko was a flimsy cop out, but I never went into detail on why I felt that way.

Let me be clear. If you removed the dialogue at the beginning at the episode, Yakko's apology would be a great sibling moment. I mean, reboot Yakko actually verbally expressing that he cares about Wakko? I'd be freaking out in a positive way. If it only happened after a couple jokes about Wakko's scent, it would be good.

However, taking into account everything that's happened, how Wakko has been a target to ruthlessly pick on since the instant the episode first started, the apology feels condescending and insincere to me.

If we got to the point that sweet, oblivious Wakko actually felt the need to call out his older brother, who he idolizes, over always picking on him, you know it's already pretty bad. He even points out one of the primary issues with it- Yakko is punching down when he makes fun of Wakko. Wakko is his little sibling who he's supposed to protect and support.

Yakko then responds with the same logic a schoolyard bully uses. "Come on, can't you take a joke?" The bully says, after making a target out of this one kid for the entire schoolyear. You might call it an overreaction to compare Yakko to a bully here. For one, I'm only using an example to show why this moment doesn't hit for me. Secondly, at least I had the sense to edit out the lines where I compared him to an abuser. Thirdly, I agree. It's a tragedy that I'm comparing Yakko to a bully right now. Wakko spoke up to try to defend himself against his siblings, and Yakko's response wasn't to genuinely apologize and promise to stop doing it- it was to justify his behavior and dig in deeper. Sibling teasing is sibling teasing, but if your family member who you love has to actually come up to you and tell you point blank that it's going too far, and you refuse to see the error of your ways, that's when it's really gone too far.

The last reason this is a flimsy apology- if this is how you express your love for Wakko, because picking on him is easier than saying you care, then why don't you do the same to Dot? There's still clearly favoritism being shown here towards one sibling, which is awful. Also, it's not how you show your affection. We've seen how Yakko shows affection. We've seen it explicitly, and it's nothing like this. Go watch Wakko's Wish if you don't know what I'm talking about.

I at least appreciate that they always kept the Warners as one unit and didn't ever have them fight each other.

I did find the echoed "d'ah"s to be funny, even as I was watching this the first time with my soul being ripped in two.

I didn't watch Starbox and Cindy the first time around, so as far as I'm concerned this is the entire new episode for me this time. I thought it was clever how they had a battle over lights in a child's room. I thought it was sad how Starbox has been Stockholm Syndromed into loving the self-admitted scary monster.

Through 8 episodes, there have been as many Starbox and Cindy segments as there have been Warner songs.

I feel like the Gold Warners had more potential than this. The concept of alternate copies of the Warners for the Warners to battle is interesting, but the problem is that these copies are nothing like the regular Warners. They don't talk, so you can't actually have an interesting battle of personalities that would naturally make up a Warner vs. Warner fight.

Wakko defending Dot is a GOLDEN sibling moment. But... you know what I'm about to say. I would freak out and cherish this moment forever in almost any other context. In the context it's been given, it only makes me kind of sad. Because Wakko still has a heart of gold, Wakko still stays loyal and true to his siblings, even when they have thoroughly proven they don't deserve it. And even when Wakko steps up to defend his siblings, and ends up being the one to save the day and show them how to get out of there, they don't even mention it afterwards. They don't apologize for how they treated him. They don't thank him for saving them. If there was only some kind of payoff at the very end, it would be at least a little palatable. There just isn't. Wakko is the only Warner who comes out of this episode looking like a good sibling. It just gives me the image of my mind of Yakko and Dot as bullies to their innocent brother who loves them unconditionally despite everything they've done to him, which is not even close to how the Warners should be in reality or how they're portrayed in any other episode.

Just Ralph being a better friend to Wakko than his own siblings in this episode:

I guess I should briefly talk about the video game characters in this episode.

Honestly, the best part about them was their names and character designs.

In this episode, Wakko:

-Heard his sister celebrating his death

-Still happily interacted with his sibs immediately after and got them into something that makes him happy

-Sat around and took care of the tower by himself for six months while his sibs played his favorite video game, not even playing with them or being able to talk to them at all

-After Yakko and Dot came back to consciousness, Yakko immediately physically fought with him over the privilege of being player 1

-Got a lame special move compared to his siblings

-Got his smell constantly made fun of by his own siblings

-Had to call Yakko out over it and got a paper-thin "apology" as a response

-Defends his sister, despite everything, by hurting himself. This is the second time in the episode he's gotten smashed by his own mallet.

-Fights with Ralph over the remote as soon as he gets out so he can save his siblings from the game

-Does not even get a hug or a smile from his siblings once they're out due to his heroics. At least, not one we were shown.

This episode is frustrating. There's so much good about it. The animation is so cool. There are funny jokes. There are multiple great sibling moments on a level above anything else we've explicitly seen in the reboot. If only that first minute was cut completely, I would consider this a great episode. It wasn't cut, unfortunately, and it drags everything else down with it. Doesn't it almost feel like the writers of this episode put in a bunch of wholesome sibling moments, realized they didn't want to give us that much, and decided to "balance it out" with all that awfulness? If that is the case, I hate it even more. They simply don't understand what we want from these characters. Is it fair to say an entire episode is bad because of one horrible dialogue at the very start? Honestly, I don't really care. That dialogue doesn't just drag down this episode. It drags down the season, the reboot, and my entire Animaniacs fandom. I can't help how I feel.

I don't think, even after everything I've said, that you guys understand the true depth of the effect this episode has had on me. When I was first spoiled over the infamous lines, I was at a point where I was feeling more passionate over Animaniacs and writing than I had since I first started all of this. I had just finished reading a fic, Don't You Forget About Me, that destroyed me in the good, angsty kind of way. That fic is about the Warners being magically made to forget about one another. It tore me apart to read about their relationships being destroyed so easily in the fic, to see them turned against each other. When I read that spoiler, back in early January, it was like it had all come true. What meaning does it have to read about them forgetting about each other when they apparently never had much care for each other in the first place? All the deep feelings I was feeling over that fic completely disappeared, in literally an instant. I went back to read it, and I felt nothing. (Through no fault of the fic- it's still really great.) At the time, I had an angsty one shot in the works, I was getting progress on so many fics at once. Reading that spoiler killed all that passion in an instant. Put simply, if this dialogue never existed, you would have gotten about 4-5 more fanfic releases from me over the past month than you actually got. I've barely touched any of those WIPs since.

Despite all the good, I can't ever forgive this episode for what it did to me. It has been super touching to feel all the love from the fandom after I expressed my emotions over this episode. It's nice to know we're in the same boat. Even after all of that, even with all the good in this episode, if I had the option to erase it from existence completely, to make it as if it never happened, would I do it?

Yes. In a heartbeat. I'm still not sure if my fandom will recover from what this episode did to me.

If you're a defender of that dialogue, I want you to know that I respect your opinion. I also want you to know that we're simply not on the same wavelength when it comes to how we view this show and its characters. Could those lines be classified as just harmless sibling banter? Maybe in your sibling relationship, but not in mine. It's been a little insulting to me to see the few out there who have claimed that only those without siblings would take issue over these lines. I've watched 133 episodes of Animaniacs and one movie. I've dedicated half my life to this show. I can tell you that what the Warners did here is not even close to in-character for them. To me, it truly feels like Yakko and Dot were replaced by unfeeling aliens for an episode.

Was this the least entertaining episode of Animaniacs ever? Far from it. If you showed this season to someone off the street who's never seen Animaniacs, they almost certainly wouldn't rank this episode as the worst of all of them. They'd probably rank it as one of the best. 90% of it is good, after all. 5% of it is mindblowingly bad. If someone who hasn't watched Animaniacs before saw this episode and only this episode, what impression would they get of the sibling relationship between Yakko, Wakko, and Dot? To me, they'd come off as bullies to the one true-hearted member of the group, Wakko, and that's heartbreaking to think about. So, while I gave it some thought, I can't do it. I can't rank this episode anywhere other than last. I hope to God that it stays there.

LITERALLY JUST THISCHJSJKSKSKD he's everywhere. every single time there's an anime guy with fluffy brown hair and brown eyes you just KNOW someone in the comments is gonna be like "omg he looks like dazai" no he doesn't.

also.. idk i just got tired of him. i did think he's funny when i first got into bsd (i was 13-14 so you didn't have to do much for me to think you're funny) but now everything about his behavior is so. ugh. it's like okay!! you're a walking red flag!! not in a fun way!!

i still think he's a well-written character though. just not my type.

makima: i can just say that i'm into dominant women honestly her design is so cool!! i have her plushie right next to me rn. she's staring into my soul. she's a really cool and well-written character and i don't know, there's just something about her that still makes you (me.) trust her even though you know she's the villain here. also i really love characters who do horrible, horrible things but they believe that there is no other way and they believe they're doing the right thing. something about her is also weirdly comforting to me but we're not gonna unpack that right now that moment in the manga when she said that denji can just rely on her and he doesn't have to do anything. that felt personal to me. also the fact that in the end she just needed a hug and needed someone to love her.. idk, it's probably cheesy, but i found it heartbreaking.

reo: HE'S JUST LIKE ME FR!!! it's pretty much impossible for me to talk about reo without oversharing stuff so i'm just gonna say that. well. i know what it's like to be a sheltered kid who doesn't even know what they want from life but when they finally start to realize what they probably want, they get hit with that "nah don't do that" and also his relationship with nagi is so... HHHHHHH been there. done that. know what it's like. i was literally going "BABY NO. NO DON'T DO THAT IT'S ONLY GONNA HURT YOU MORE" even though i do like this ship djdksks. anyway yeah his character is very realistic, it was so painful for me to read the part where nagi was like "nvm i need you actually" and he said that exactly when reo started to move on...

bachira: i actually didn't like him that much at first because i'm usually not a fan of characters who.. like. have this "weird and goofy" kind of personality, i just find them kinda exhausting, but bachira's character actually turned out to be much deeper than i expected and i find him very relatable as well. also most of the time he felt like the most normal character to me HSJSJKAKDK

yuno: SHE IS SO. *falls on the floor and starts sobbing* i'm not usually a fan of characters who are like.. very fun and cheerful on the outside, but they're actually suffering (and i have. so many ocs like that. ironic, isn't it) because most of the time it's either written kinda poorly, doesn't feel relatable, or the fandom just boils their character down to that one trait, but yuno's character felt very refreshing to me, because her t1 personality already felt kinda fake and even es mentioned that she doesn't have to pretend around them and when yuno really does stop pretending, like. it's so cool because at the same time she changed a lot, but you know that she actually hasn't changed at all and she's always been like that. there always were signs that yuno is actually colder (haha get it) than she acts so it isn't surprising for her to act this way in t2 and it doesn't feel too drastic. also her wanting to be seen as an adult and wanting people to stop coming up with sympathetic motives for her is so.. it's so good.

kirari: hmmm i actually don't really have a strong opinion about her! she's cool! but i like her design a lot! her hairstyle, her eyes, her iconic lipstick, she's so pretty!

yumeko: YUMEKO JABAMI THE WOMAN THAT YOU AREEEEE... the crush i had on this girl when i was younger was so. shsdjasksksk. i know i just said i don't really like "weird" characters but yumeko is so unhinged, it's so fun to watch! i really like kakegurui exactly because of how it just. lets women do wild things and be in the center of attention and all. i like how at the same time it's hinted that her character is much deeper than it seems, but also she just REALLY likes gambling!

(I'm working on a Krillin B-Day picture, but it's taking a while to finish... I'm might miss the actual celebration day, but I wanted to share this cute next-gen/AU idea for now~)

-I always thought that out of everybody, Krillin was pretty good at being personable with crowds of "regular people" and comfortable when it comes to interacting with new people. I also thought that as he got older, he cared a lot about making a difference in small ways (not just BIG planet-saving stuff, we've got a whole Goku for that), especially when he thinks about how hard it was for himself and his friends when they were younger...

So! He kind of takes over being a martial arts teacher as a new Turtle Master (not so much a hermit), with a training school closer to towns/cities, and it also functions as a shelter for people with no home, and a safe place for run-away kids. While he's mostly passing on the Kame training tradition, Mr Satan gives him an "endorsement", making Krillin known as "The Champ's Friend!", so he kinda has a similar hero following...except, his rep is REAL (also, Tien and Yamcha hang out and help with training as well~)

-Marron grows up to be ironically taller than both her parents. Also, she, Bra, and Pan get to be REAL FIGHTERS who are strong, and have cool adventures, thank you very much (it would also just be very amusing to me if, as teenagers, Trunks and Goten were the ones who stress about normal-teenager-problems like being popular etc. they're living a high school AU, the others are Magical Girls who Punch haha. OK, in seriousness, they all have adventures together, it's just funny for it have some silliness in there)

-As an adult, she eventually has twins (since it runs in her family, on her mom's side). They both look like tiny-Krillins, but with hair (in different styles, to help tell them apart). Their names are Almond and Hazel! (I'm not especially invested in the other parent, but if I had to pick somebody, I'd actually think her and Uub could be cute. we don't get to know him really well, but he seems very soft-spoken yet serious, and Marron has an easy-going attitude; they would just get along, and start a relationship without drama or awkwardness, they simply click~)

Aw that's cute! I like the ideas!

HM... been debating for a while to make soules species gist more fae-like? (rather than only just a literal ghost/core of a forest like how i initially made him dgdjd)-

still mainly a forest spirit overall tho to be a cool parallel to other characters that are adjacent to smth (like theta being a robot/code, etc)

since the tfj game world already got fae or fae affected characters in it as a major theme (fool, fair faire, matcha and hp to an extent i think? pls correct me if wrong sgshdh, etc)- feel like it'd be interesting to play around more with a character that was (kinda?) already fae-adjacent from before being trapped in tha game and the effects of that in post hmmm-

too lazy to organize additional thoughts in tags so putting under a read more dfghfjdk

thoughts + ideas so far... (some are totally not reworks of old ideas i had haha <<< a lie /lh)

- HMM looking directly at lege.nd of he.i and mus.hi.shi (censored to not accidentally get in tags fgshghfj) for possible inspo and vibes... (and maybe also dr.ya.ds/ny.mphs?)- overall fae spirit that originated from nature etc :]

- soule is a spirit that was born along with their forest w/ the purpose of being a guardian to both the woods and inhabitants (hence forest spirit) <<< is tied to the overall forest body, if anything major happens to the forest it also affects soule (but not vice versa, ie if smth happens to soule it won't affect the forest directly as much) ?

- soule can do 'magic' to an extent, not the super showy/powerful kind like from ow.l hou.se or etc- but rather in a 'natural' kind of way where they can shape/manipulate existing life energy either from the open energy-filled atmosphere or from himself (closest visual can think of to this is 'funni lightshow' vibes)

^^^ cause i likey the message of them being a literal 'slice of life' kind of vibe where they're just a guy who happens to be fae-adjacent that doesn't do anything super 'big' if that makes sense dgdjdj :>

(and also the bonus detail of several of their au counterparts being able to do significantly more showy magic stuff than actual soule being really funni :] /lh)

- in extension to above, soule being able to feel a spiritual connection with plants in general due to being tied to a forest (ie feel a plants 'mood' or health, the plants traits, if it needs a certain nutrient, etc)

- HM... soule (since pre) being aware of 'traditonal' fae etiquette and rules due to being fae-adjacent themself? but not bound to most or all of them since his purpose of being a forest guardian didn't really involve interaction with humans/non fae beings..?

- wait should i. should i give soule the ol' weakness to cold iron... o shit what if the amulet cel was trapped in was made of iron and that was also a factor to why it was hard for them to 'break' out of their role.. cause it weakened them without them realizing.... could i do that- would that work- o fuck thats evil-

I shall begin an all-new, all-homo blog! (I'm definitely not like 10 years behind on starting a blog lol).

I talk about random bullshit here, basically whatever topic I feel like enlightening the masses about that particular day. And of course, because I am the most interesting man on earth, I'll also talk a lot about my life. You will listen to my whining, you will read my page, and you will consume product! Anyways, the inaugural installment of JustSomeDude™ focuses around the single most engaging, interesting topic of all the universes; The Big Sad.

Yep, I'm sad. Got broken up with by the woman I thought was The One, turned out she was the ½. Shit sucks bro. So please, all none of you reading this, beam to me your validation! Praise me this exact instant! I need all the shallow reinforcement I can get!

Ok, to drop the funni haha act for a sec and hit upon a more vulnerable note,a less funni, it truly is devastating to me. She was my first true love, I earnestly thought I would spend my life with her. Obviously, didn't play out that way lol.

It's been 2 weeks now. You'd think time would dull the pain, and what do you know? You'd be right. It's not nearly as bad as it was initially, yet I feel an agonizing emptiness inside my Self. I have navigated beyond grief over the idea of the relationship. I miss her and her specifically, not just the concept of having a girlfriend.

Truly and honestly, I have never had anyone else in my life comparable to her. I shared an intimacy with her that is beyond pre-relationship-me's comprehension. Obviously, having someone to do the sex with was cool and all, but beyond bodily pleasure, I miss her presence. I miss spending time with her, kissing and holding her in my arms, miss having my best friend, closest confidant, and favorite person all wrapped into one. I could go on an unbearably sappy rant about all the things I miss about her, like her freckles, beautiful brown eyes, her smile, her b- Wait a fucking second, I did again! Fuck!!!

Anyways, sorry about that. Just had to put my emotional side back where it belongs (locked and starving in my basement, right next to the 14 children).

Anyways, haha funni! Wanna hear a joke? My life! All you have to do is self deprecate to hide the pain! Afterall, if you refuse to acknowledge it, it doesn't exist. Much like Santa Claus, and the Federal Reserve.

I don't have a good seque into concluding this smattering of words, so I'm going to cheat and lampshade it. Am I being ironic? Am I using satire? Am I just being lazy? Yes.

Boom, instant segue. Basically, I will regularly add to this blog whenever I have something I feel like I need to express. I've found that expressing my emotions helps expel them, or otherwise they're remain entombed within my vessel, blighting the miniature clown people who pilot my body. I hope that people will read this, but honestly I just don't know. If a lot of people read this (which for clarification's sake, I absolutely don't expect to happen), I will be much more active and put significantly more effort into increasing the quality of my writing. I'm very good at revising my own work and drastically improving it, but it takes a whole lot of time, effort, and work. If Ashe came to the MCU, what would she think of Basch’s ships?

{out of dalmasca} I think she'd really like them! So there's Carter ( @starcchild ) and Wanda ( @illbringthechaosmagic ) so far, who I can tag, and then Thor (you know who you are, heh). Let's take them one at a time...

Ashelia would really like Carter, but if she ever found out about the arc reactor, she'd want to resolve that as soon as possible. Like to her, that's some dangerous nethicite shit and you don't want that in your chest, heh. She'd have to have it explained to her what it actually is, but even then she'd want to heal it, because ugh no one should have to deal with something like that implanted in their chest. But if Carter didn't want it healed, Ashe would be sad for her, but she'd respect her decision. Beyond that, she'd be amazed by how intelligent Carter is, and depending on verse, she'd be wowed by the fact that Carter is Iron Man. Coming from a patriarchal monarchy where she had to take great risks to learn a single weapon in secret, the idea of a woman having that much tech, that many weapons, and that much agency to fight her own fights would be amazingly awesome to Ashe. Beyond that, I think she would like the way Carter and Basch interact because they're both shy beans who are awkward socially unless they're doing battle and she'd think that was kinda funny in an affectionate sense. Kindof in the "they're made for each other" sense.

With Wanda, Ashe would be fascinated by her magic and would want to see more of it. She's never seen magic like that before and would definitely ask Wanda if she's descended from one of the Dynast Kings herself, since that's where Ashe's magical abilities come from. She'd be a little sad to see how withdrawn Wanda is at times, and that she sometimes doesn't believe in herself, but she'd think Basch would be good for her in that regard. And her for him as well. Seeing how much Basch loves Wanda (and any of his ships, really) would make Ashe very happy, because a lonely Basch is a sad Basch and she's been telling him that since she was seven, haha. But anyway, I think she'd want to train with Wanda because she's a different kind of magic user than Ashe is used to and especially if they're going to be on the same team, she'd want to learn how to coordinate with her. Finally, I think Ashe might bond with Wanda over losing a brother... since Ashe has lost eight of them. Granted, she's the youngest, so she really only knew two or three or them in any real capacity. Some of them were 20+ years older than she was and were dead before she was born. But with the ones she did know, I think she'd really understand how Wanda felt at losing a sibling.

Now onto Thor. Like I mentioned in a previous ask answer, Thor would confuse Ashe because the "gods" in her mind are the Occuria, who are beings of light and energy who look like this (they all have different shapes slightly but yeah, here's an example):

So that's what both Basch and Ashe would come to the MCU thinking the "gods" are, heh. So for Ashe to meet Thor and be told she's a god... that's... um... odd? XD It would take some time to explain to her what and who gods can be and to disabuse her of the notion that the Occuria were gods at all. But once that happens, I think Ashe would think Thor was pretty cool. I do think she'd be a little apprehensive of the whole "being hunted" idea, like what are you dragging Basch into, but at the end of the day, it's his choice who he's with, so as long as they love each other, then it's a good thing to her. She'd feel badly for Thor that she'd had to live like that, though, and would want to help her. Not that she could, I mean there really isn't anything that Ashe could do about it. But she would definitely bond with Thor over the whole "hunted princess" issue, because she certainly knows what that's like. And losing siblings as well. So they do have some things in common that I think they could bond over.

Also I'm going to assume that I'm NOT shipping Ashe and Basch in the MCU because that would make things weird and uncomfortable with his existing ships. Like... I'm fine with saying he loved her, but maybe Ashe never felt that way about him. Because I don't want to deal with sad love triangles, and frankly if Basch is with someone, then it doesn't matter how he feels about Ashelia, he's not cheating on who he's with. Besides, if his ships feel inadequate because they've been hearing about Ashelia and now omg she's here, welp I guess I'm getting dumped them... Yeah, that's not gonna be happy for any muses involved. Unrequited love plots make me sad, so let's just not go there, heh. So I'm fine with saying Basch still just considers Ashelia out of his league and if he's started a relationship with someone else, then he's moved on.

HOWEVER, as a side note that will probably never come up unless someone wants to write a matchmaking thread (drifts off thinking about that for a second and how cool that would actually be, heh), being transplanted into the MCU world would remove nearly all of the social, legal, and political obstacles to them being together, so... they have a better chance there than in their canon world, haha. Basch would still think she was out of his league, though, and Ashe would have to realize that Basch is actually an option, so they'd need some help getting over themselves first, heh.

So, fun fact, I have a pretty large Merlin Merchandise collection

Everything in this picture (except for the map on the right side of the shelf) is official merch. I've got your typical stuff like the action figures, the backpack, and the wallet, but I also have a few lesser known ones and some pretty rare finds too.

Right between Kilgharrah and the wallet is a pack of Merlin themed Top Trump card, a game I've never played but that has really cool hard plastic packaging!

Next to the DVDs is all of the books that were ever released. Up top we have a weird notebook that looks like Merlin's spellbook, which comes with a cheap quill-shaped pen. Beneath that is a scholastic book that tells the story of the Labrinth of Gedreff as a stand alone tale and it comes with a CD that has an audio version in which the narrator has clearly never seen the show and so he chooses very funny voices for the characters.

Then we have all of the "younger reader" books. Those are just written versions of espiodes with occasional linework illustrations. There is a secret message where all of the books have a different rune watermark and you have to follow clues on the spine to spell out a word but . . . they use a different rune system (with similar looking letters) then the show's props so at first it just spelled jibberish but it's meant to say "Emrys" (and I technically does if you use the "right" alphabet lol).

Under that we have the hero's and villain's guide, as well as the complete guide (which ironically is VERY incomplete as it was released after season one haha)

Then there's the activity books, the Book of Mystery and Magic, the Annuals, and the awful DS Game :)

Then there's a few more chapter books. Same deal as the "younger reader" ones except there aren't any pictures and they're meant for older kids (probably tweens and teens maybe?). I especially like these because the spines line up to form images

Okay, now for the pretty rare stuff. In the brown binder beneath the backpack, I have the Topps Merlin sticker collection, which is a little under 200 numbered stickers that are all Merlin themed

Unfortunately, most of them are honestly quite ugly screencaps (I have no idea WHY they would chose stuff like this for a sticker collection tbh)

BUT a FEW of them are holographic

These were hard to find a complete set of but I managed to buy an already completed set off of ebay Collect Them All ™

Now the stamp collection wasn't very hard to find, but it does seem to be logistically rare because there appears to only have been one thousand ever made (I have #425/1000).

But the MAGAZINES! Now THOSE were hard to find! There's not much information on them but I'm PRETTY SURE the Merlin Magazine only had two issues! It's really cool, I especially find it interesting seeing contest prizes for prop peices and tabloid-like interviews with the cast. But each them also has a comic with original content. I wouldn't consider them canon because quite frankly i feel like they're a bit out of character, but I was super surprised that the comics weren't just adapted episodes like all the books!

Each issue also came with "exclusive free gifts"

NOW THESE WERE THE HARDEST THINGS TO FIND LET ME TELL YOU! The ONLY reason I was able to find these was because I asked the person that I bought the magazines from if she knew if she still had the gifts. At fist, she only had two or three of them but she *found them* over the course of a *year* and I bought them off of her as they turned up in her home (except the last one! She surprised me and just mailed it to me for free to complete the collection!). These still toys are so funny because other than the keychain and buttons, these are just preexisting toys that they wrapped up in Merlin packaging, which is why Kilgharrah is green and the serket toy is just a bright orange sticky scorpion (like those sticky hand thingies).

technically i've always been interested in bakudeku as a dynamic i guess? i started watching mha in 2017 when s2 was airing, so when i watched the first season i was like woah! these two characters sure are connected! (this was before i realized they were narrative foils lol) i entered the series with zero knowledge of the fandom, i just saw the show online and wanted to try it out. therefore i didn't know bkdk was so universally panned at the time and i ... liked it!

but then i heard people saying that bkdk was abusive so i was like oh uhhhh u know what?

by 2017 the most prevalent ships were tododeku and kiribaku, not bakudeku LMAO since s2 introduced us to more interactions within those ships! and so i guess i felt pressured to ship tododeku and kiribaku way more than i could ever ship bakudeku. the whole "bakudeku is abusive" argument was very VERY active during this time, and i didn't want to get harassed online for liking a relationship that was deemed abusive, so i tried avoiding it as best as i could. funny thing is, though, i didn't even reach s2 in 2017 — i dropped the series after s1 bc i guess i just ... didn't want to continue??? i'm not really sure myself but mha's fandom was already pretty big then, and i was informed of kiribaku way before i even encountered any of it in s2 and s3. anyway, that's why i felt inclined to ship kiribaku far more even when i didn't see too much of it in the series yet

i picked up the series again in 2019 bc one of my friends wanted me to, and that's when i finally watched s2 and s3. during this time i was a far more active shipper in the fandom (in 2017 i technically didn't ship anything bc i didn't actually get anywhere LOL). my otp was tododeku and i liked kiribaku just as much. bakudeku was still, well, THERE but i was very scared of calling myself a bkdk so i tried to talk myself out of ever shipping it. bkdks got a horrible rep bc they were so-called "abuse apologists" (which is ridiculous lol but i digress) so i didn't want to involve myself with that whole thing. instead i played it safe and shipped the tamer deku and bakugou ships at the time. BY THE WAY i still really like tddk and krbk haha they're just not my main ships anymore

and oh yeah this was even after watching deku vs kacchan part 2 LMFAO idk what the hell was wrong with me in which i watched that episode and felt NOTHING??? even after that ep i was like lol cool. anyway tddk—

i just really tried programming my brain into disliking bkdk for a hot second. which is super ironic bc during this time i was also reading a lot of mha doujins of practically any ship, and yes, that included bkdk. but after while i kinda just got ... tired ??? of hating bkdk? like idk it seemed a little pointless to aggressively advocate AGAINST a relationship when it's just a fictional ship, and a narratively important one at that. so in october of 2019, to test the waters, i drew this:

and i got a grand total of ........ ZERO HATE COMMENTS!!!!!!!! granted i had like no followers on twitter and i don't think anyone cared on my instagram (the two sites where i posted this), plus i explicitly said this could be either platonic or romantic, but i felt ... free. i felt free!!!!!

i continued to ship tddk as my main ship, but i just felt a lot better knowing that i could ship bkdk and not get immediately cancelled on the internet for it LOL. i guess at this point i started to feel more inclined to ship bkdk bc i DID like them. i really did like them!!! they were my favorite characters when i first watched the anime, and it became such a chore to hate their relationship when it was objectively a great one to analyze and indulge in! why should i keep lying to myself just to seem "morally superior" or whatever by not shipping an "abusive" fictional ship? like what was my end goal here lmao

i chose to appreciate them in secret bc idk, i was still subconsciously afraid of haters, until i decided u know what? fuck it. i don't fucking care anymore, and thus i drew this little doodle in december of 2019 which ended up ruining my life forever:

bc u know what happened after this little doodle? a little lock opened in my brain and this small little devil on my shoulder went, "hey. hey guess what? u've crossed the threshold. u've accepted bkdk into ur heart. u can draw bkdk now. u're FREE, min. u're FREE!" and i guess i took that to heart bc after that i started shipping bkdk at an EXPONENTIAL rate. i was no longer chained by my fears. i just didn't fucking care anymore and it was AMAZING.

i still tried convincing myself that i liked tddk more, but at this point i was just lying LOL i most certainly enjoyed bkdk far more, and honestly probably would have from the start if i wasn't such a fucking pussy. AGAIN i still like tddk to this day but bkdk has cemented itself as the main ship sorry todoroki

Hi Professor! I've recently made friends with an Aggron (lifelong dream) and was wondering if there were any specialist products I needed to use to help them maintain their metal armor. Obviously, since they're very proud of their battle damage, I don't want to go near that, but is there anything I can do to prevent rust? Thanks for reading!

Sure, there’s a lot you can do. Steel types can be real funny about their battle scars, some love em, some demand they be fixed or they won’t do anything haha. Because of this, we’ve had to be creative with what to do about care for steel Pokemon.

Bare in mind, these Pokemon do handle damage well, and if their diet is rich in iron ore, or high grade steels/irons, you should be fine without too much fussing.

Apply an oil to the steely hide, this stops moisture reaching the metal. I advise linseed oil, doesn’t bother the Pokemon’s softer body parts too.

Some trainers paint the battle scars with “war paint” so to speak, again, it’s to prevent that water getting to the crevices and dinks from battle, that can develop rust far quicker. Tactically though it can be like painting targets on your Pokemon, those points will be weaker to repeated attacks should your foe catch on to the paints purpose. You could paint decoys too I suppose. Looks pretty cool. High quality paints are fine for their steel, but don’t paint the fleshy body parts or between plating.

If you have the cash, take your partner to a registered metal worker or specialist groomers, and get your buddy Galvanised, they’ll cast your buddy’s steel parts carefully in zinc, which corrodes far slower compared to steel, giving long lasting protection, this is a very highly effective method of handling steel types that live by the sea too. That salt air really eats away at them fast. Done by a professional this is of course safe, and causes no harm to the Pokemon.

There’s a few other options but these three seem the ones trainers rely on the most.

Coolness factor, I’ve seen a trainer who paid to have their steelix’s battle scars cast with gold. He was a retired battle Pokemon, and so the softer metal decoration became like little badges of honour all over. Harmless when done correctly, costs a fortune unless you can go digging for a lot of gold nuggets. Completely impractical in proper battles though, good thing the old feller was done fighting.

For the prompt I was thinking maybe Underswap Sans as a Beautiful Demoiselle damselfly? (back at it again with asking for underswap sans my beloved) Mostly because of the iridescent blue look of their bodes and the shiny blue in their wings!! They almost look like they're glowing with the bright blue through dark wings and it reminds me of space as is! So I think it would work well for a space fairy, and look really cool and pretty for a fairy Swap Sans! (plus it just seems funny and ironic to make mr. fairytale knight in shining armor himself an insect named a *damsel*fly)

Hey! As a Jew I just wanted to offer a different perspective to the "Rabbi Cartman" thing I saw the other day. I've been thinking about your post alot and just thought I'd share my experience.

As a kid, I was shit on a LOT for being Jewish. I've met a couple of young Cartmans in my elementary school years, and I've been the target of many rumors and slurs. And yet.. one of the guys who bullied me? Married to a Jew. The kids have Jewish names. Another one took a trip to Israel because somewhere along the line they just decided it was cool.

Whether it was intentional or not, Matt and Trey touched on an important issue that isn't just a Jewish issue, but a larger issue that affects all marginalized communities. The targeted members of those communities grow up with these experiences that leave scars, and yet often years later, aspects of your culture are magically "cool" to the people who gave you shit for it, and you're given no real closure or way to appropriately process the scars that you're left with. Its almost more hurtful to me to see that guy talk about Judaism now than it was for him to tell people I ate babies and drank blood.

Even if it is at a base level funny or ironic to see Cartman standing there as a Rabbi with a stereotypical wife, this is still something that I've seen no other mainstream piece of media ever even attempt to brush on, and that's at least a win in my book.

This is a really interesting point!! Also something I hadn't even thought of before.

It does make me wonder......... because on the one hand like, I don't really trust Matt & Trey to handle a topic like this with the kind of nuance it would require?? Not because I think they're incapable, but just that the track record so far has left the bar really low for me. So I hesitate to give them credit for doing something so well thought out when there's still the possibility it was just a "haha wouldn't it shock people if..." instead.

But on the other hand, if they were trying to critique the kind of people who do this (are bigoted towards a minority group and pick on members of it as kids, but then grow up to turn around and adopt/appropriate that same thing) it would be impressive, and interesting to say the least... and like you said, not something I've ever seen any other mainstream media touch on either.

Although I hadn't looked at it from this POV before, it does feel like it links in well with the other reasons I'm so suspicious of him suddenly having reformed off screen and we're just expected to believe he's a harmless, wholesome family man now, when this is a character who for decades his favourite manipulation tactic has been to paint himself as the innocent and victimised one lmao.

Again like... I love him.... but he is a fucking evil little demon from hell sjdhsdfjsdfs. For him to completely reform is going to take hard work. Right now it's not only difficult for me to believe it happened without evidence, but the fact that he's hiding his past behaviour from his wife makes it seem a lot less likely that he ever did work on himself (which would necessitate actually dealing with his traumas and insecurities rather than just ignoring them) and more likely that he just jumped from one identity to another to give himself a clean slate, and is still manipulating the way that he wants people to see him.

This also would figure in the sense of it being the outcome of him losing his friend group too. Because they ARE making him better (in the current time period as kids, not future) and his most genuine honest and selfless acts have all been to protect them, since he does love them. But with that progress being stopped in its tracks I wouldn't be surprised if he is still up to some manipulative shit, in the same way that Stan is still alcoholic... and actually all of them stayed sort of trapped in their childhoods to some degree.

Of course I could be 100% wrong about all of this, but its fun to consider different possibilities and theories.

The whole issue around Cartman and antisemitism is a complicated one that I intentionally don't ever go into much detail about since I'm not Jewish myself I don't really feel like its my place. It's tricky with him because it's always JUST kind of been about Kyle? I think he doesn't understand the infatuation that he has with Kyle (which I personally think is a mix between him having a crush and being jealous of him) not understanding his feelings pisses him off and he wants to blame Kyle for it somehow. So as soon as he was exposed to the idea that Jewish people are evil and always secretly plotting or whatever he latched onto it super hard. Then because of his tendency to delusion/paranoia convinced himself that Kyle is out to get him, which then just escalated the situation for years. That said it obviously doesn't excuse the behaviour, like AT ALL, But I do think if he was ever going to stop it would need to be confronted with this in mind? If that makes sense lmao.

Anyway............ to get back on your main point, it is interesting to think about 🤔 Thanks for bringing it up too bc I always enjoy considering other perspectives. I'm curious to find out how the rest of this storyline is gonna go, then see what I think about it after because my opinions might end up being totally different, depending what they do with it haha.
